    Those areas where Tetris Effect drops the ball doesn’t completely negate how good the classic puzzler still is at dropping blocks.

    I know how silly this might sound, typing it outside the soothing VR cocoon that is Tetris Effect, but I stand by it. I have never felt so connected to a greater human truth, a cheesy feeling like the one in that quoted song, than in the act of clearing line, after line, after line within this beautiful video game.     Above all, what I love about Tetris Effect is that it is unabashedly earnest. It is a captivating, beautiful thing to experience in a bleak time. It speaks Tetris, the common tongue of video game design, as poetry.

    It’s a robust package that does Tetris justice. Unlike many modern interpretations, Tetris Effect doesn’t mess with what made the original game so loved. Instead, it augments it, making it feel modern, beautiful, and surprisingly emotional. After nearly three decades, I’ve finally found a replacement for my favorite NES game.

    This game has some awesome effects. It is one of the best PSVR experiences. I also like the playlists and how they are set by mood. But it hasThis game has some awesome effects.     No review can sum up the magic of this game. Even if you arent a puzzle game fan, try it. You wont regret it.

    Tetris finally became art
    It may not have a direct online multiplayer or local, but it compensates on music, visuals and apresentation
