For people [who] love the world of Borderlands, and people that appreciate snappy writing and surreal comedy, episode 2 is a definite winner.

A strong second episode and some of Telltale's funniest work to date. [June 2015, p74]

Despite the game’s ease, Tales from the Borderlands Episode Two continues its strong narrative with improved gameplay.

Deep characters, nice pacing and irresistible humour make this episode an improvement over the previous one. The next one cannot come fast enough.

Predecessor Zero Sum has the better action sequences, but you'll forgive that for the gags here. [June 2015, p.64]

Its linearity is a happy tradeoff for the sharp characterisation and dialogue on offer here. [May 2015, p.93]

Whether or not Atlas Mugged hits as hard as Zer0 Sum is irrelevant; the fact that this series is shaping up to be something brilliant is the more important point here.

With plenty of self-referential humour, emotional reveals and fantastic dialogue, this is one tale that you can’t help but feel a lot more invested in.

Another good entry in the adventure game genre. Just don’t go expecting a game changer.

This instalment feels like it's treading water, waiting for future outings to move things forwards. The humour and characters carry things a bit, but Episode 3 will need to be much better.

Random repetition of dialogue and skipping of dialogue halfway through a sentence. And overall a halfbaked episode, with only botloader providing any laughs. Full Review »
