    Tales from the Borderlands is a game I recommend playing a chapter per night. They'll run you about 2 hours each, think of it as watching an interactive movie each night. The game has it's share of hilarious moments, and share of emotional ones. I picked this up for $5 on sale, what an absolute steal. I would gladly pay $20 retroactively knowing how much I was going to feel for it. Heck, ITales from the Borderlands is a game I recommend playing a chapter per night.     Easily the best Telltale game. Even one of the best games I've ever played! The characters, story, music, and directing are just awesome. I laughed, got emotional, and had a blast.

    Now if you're still interested by this review let's go back to the qualities of this particular game and they are many. First if you're familiar with the Borderlands franchise you may wonder how an open-world game based on loot and co-op will be when very story focused. Well it was awesome, the guys from Telltale truly respected the work made by Gearbox with many references and characters from the previous games and a main story that follow the events of Borderlands 2 providing new awesome characters (I hope some of them will be in an expected Borderlands 3), they also keep the same graphic art than the original games, which makes Tales From The Borderlands the best looking Telltale game by far.

    The five episodes are full of hilarious jokes, epic and moving moments, the wait between each episode was very long thanks to nice cliffhangers, it really was an intense experience, you'll never be bored playing this game. My only complaint is that (like most Telltale games) choices have only minor repercussions, all the big events stay the same, but hey at least there is some changes.

    Finally the length of the game is pretty reasonable, approximately 12 hours for 20€/$ it's cheaper than 5 movies in a theater (in France at least) or many videogames sold 70 €/$ and sometimes shorter. Tales From The Borderlands is the best game Telltale made since the season 1 of Walking Dead and is a shiny example of how great an interactive story can be.    … Expand

    Easily the best work done by Telltale. As someone who is invested in the Borderlands FPS series I felt it lacked depth to a degree at some times. Not to say it's bad, far from it. However the writing, humor, characters and overall feel of the Pandora created by Telltale just all works so well. I found myself longing for each episode to come out more than any other game of 2015. This a mustEasily the best work done by Telltale. As someone who is invested in the Borderlands FPS series I felt it lacked depth to a degree at some times. Not to say it's bad, far from it.     There is something to be said for the brilliance and wittiness that sometimes are seen as unsafe decisions for a game dev. This game throws all the typical conventions aside - it feels like people in the office were just making jokes that they thought were funny. It comes across as personal.     one of the best game i have played.it got everything comedy,action,suspense everything.its definitely worth my money.there are some minor cons but overall it was absolutely superb game.Please make sequel of this game.

    Amazing, simply amazing!!
    i haven't even gotten past the first few minutes of episode 1 and i'm already liking the game, its got likeable protagonists and sidekicks.
    It also retains the art style and humor of the borderlands series pretty well.

    PS. if you didn't know this game is currently free for PS plus users so go get it now!!

    This is an awesome game! Very much enjoyed the story, especially how it was told. The music and characters fit really well into the game too. Hope telltale release more of the same!

    I slept on this game for six years because I don't know anything about the Borderlands universe, and therefore, thought that this wouldn't be a game I'd enjoy. I was incredibly mistaken. This game was absolutely phenomenal! This game was non-stop laughs and good times with a few really well done emotional moments sprinkled throughout. This game also boasts stellar characters with a topI slept on this game for six years because I don't know anything about the Borderlands universe, and therefore, thought that this wouldn't be a game I'd enjoy. I was incredibly mistaken. This game was absolutely phenomenal! This game was non-stop laughs and good times with a few really well done emotional moments sprinkled throughout. This game also boasts stellar characters with a top tier voice cast to match, as well as an amazing soundtrack. This is easily one of the best games Telltale ever made. If you're a fan of episodic, choice-based games but you've been avoiding this one simply because you don't know anything about Borderlands, then do yourself a favor, and give it shot.     It's not very often that you come across a story as good as this, but when you do, it's amazing. This Telltale Series game is possibly the best one they have made yet. The voice acting is fantastic, the story is very engaging, and, most importantly, it is a great companion to the Borderlands series.     My first Telltales adventure game. I was expecting to like it, but I didn't realize I'd love it. Now, I haven't replayed the game yet, so I don't know how much variation there is in the game based on your choices. Otherwise, the world is captivating, characters are likable, and the dialogue is hilarious. The bright cell-colored animation really works here.

    Funny characters, great writing, wouldn't be out of place as a top film. Think Guardian of the galaxy mixed with Deadpool. Don't get me wrong, it's still more of an interactive film than a game, like all Telltale games, but the stories and your actions having consequences makes it interesting. I find them a nice change of pace, something to relax and unwind to. Something that's great toFunny characters, great writing, wouldn't be out of place as a top film. You don't have to have any previous knowledge of the game lore to enjoy this story, I rank it up there as the best Telltale game I've played so far. Top 3 being this, Batman Enemy within that's the second season, the walking dead season 1. If you enjoy a Telltale game you must play this one!… Expand

I suppose it helps that I’ve played quite a bit of the Borderlands franchise before (the 3rd one being my least favorite), as there are numerous references to the series, but eitherway it was some time ago that I felt this emotionally invested in a game.     Il migliore Telltale game prodotto da questa azienda. Ha tutto: la grafica stile fumetto (richiama quella di TWAU), la storia di alcuni fuggiaschi che devono risolvere un grosso problema, armi e battute simpatiche. Ovviamente, essendo un Telltale game, il giocatore ha la possibilità di prendere delle decisioni, anche se queste non sono così terribili come in altri giochi del genere.

    This is indeed a GREAT tale from the borderlands. This story introduces new characters to the borderlands universe are very interesting and funny. And you get to see some fan favourite characters from Borderlands 2 which is awesome. If you like Borderlands 2 I highly recommend this game. Just remember this game is actually more like a movie you get to make choices in.The ONLY reason to notThis is indeed a GREAT tale from the borderlands. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of coursed influenced by my personal opinions.

    (10) Outstanding. A truly elite title that is nearly perfect in every way. This score is given out rarely and indicates a game that cannot be missed.

    Hands down the best interactive game in the genre so if you want to try this genre this is the game you start with. This genre is not for everyone since there is very little gameplay and very focused on narrative. I could never get into the regular Borderlands games but this game did such a good job with world building/explaining the world, I may try the other Borderlands games again. These episodes are fun, funny, and have moving moments that will get you to binge through all five episodes. Telltale usually have bad looking games but this game is beautiful.    … Expand

    It's a Telltale game so you gotta know you are in for more of an interactive movie experience, if you go in with this understanding you are going to have a blast.

    It's not a perfect 10 because I feel like certain parts near the latter half of the story felt a bit rushed and could be handled better, and the final chapter had some frame rate issues (but man what a great finale).    … Expand

    I haven't played a lot of Telltale games because I'm not a huge fan of episodic games but I'm really happy I played this one. Initially I was lured by the Borderlands name because anything Borderlands tends to be great and also the fact that this was supposed to be a funny game. And I can say for sure that this game is worthy of all it's praise, it tells an awesome story and it's funny asI haven't played a lot of Telltale games because I'm not a huge fan of episodic games but I'm really happy I played this one. Initially I was lured by the Borderlands name because anything Borderlands tends to be great and also the fact that this was supposed to be a funny game. And I can say for sure that this game is worthy of all it's praise, it tells an awesome story and it's funny as hell. I literally played the whole game with a smile on my face cause the jokes just keep coming (and that isn't a bad thing). It's not the funniest game I have ever played, that title goes to South Park: The Stick of Truth, but it does come in at a close second.

    So just go play this game even if you're not a Borderlands fan, but if you are then this is a must play because it tells you what happens after Borderlands 2. And even if you're not there's still plenty to love here, it's fairly accessible and fills in newcomers quite well. It's well worth the money and my personal favorite Telltale game.    … Expand

    I love this game. It is, by far, the best Telltale has to offer, in my experience. I have also played through The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. I enjoyed all of them, but Tales from the Borderlands blows the rest away. It is very well written, and the characters are great, fitting in perfectly with what we have come to expect from anything Borderlands. It is bothI love this game.     I really like this game its a got good story, good characters and a good art style. The game also has good music and does feel like a borderlands game.
