Anyone who says this is the base game with download codes to download the rest are wrong.

Not a fan of 2D fighting games but Street Fighter V's gameplay impressed me to some extent.

The game feels very floaty in a good way, the controls are simple and the combos are quite easy to do. Most of the characters look pretty cool even though some of them are over-the-top muscular, but I don't mind that, it gives the game a unique art-style. As for the story mode, it's just

As for the story mode, it's just painfully average and generic, not worth playing through.

What killed my fun with the game is the lack of gamemodes.
If you're playing for the single player content, then there's almost nothing exciting to do.

It's obvious that this game is mostly focused on the online multiplayer mode which is fun, but if you're a newcomer, then this game is not for you.

Lastly, there are too many DLC characters, which is unfortunate.

    Final Rating: "Decent" ~ 6/10.

I enjoyed my time with this game, but it's not really for me. The story is very bad, gameplay is good, and the character roster is fine.

STREET FIGHTER V: CHAMPION EDITION dichotomizes stereotypical conceptions of fight games through its fluid identification of the viewer.

Really did not like this game.

    Here is why
    - weird and uninteresting story (dlc download to even get it)
    - hard to learn even with practice - crazy difficulty spikes in the story
    - over sexualized characters everywhere.
    - constant adds and store pop ups.

The fighting was fun though. Skip this game or get it on a mega sale.

Overall, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is the ultimate version of SFV. If you just want to get a big package of costumes without paying much for them, this game is definitely a value! If you’ve waited until now to pick up SFV then Champion Edition should be a definite pickup for you.

Street Fighter V rises to the occasion with its Champion Edition, adding much-needed content in one whole package that was supposed to be part of original Arcade Edition. Even though it is still riddled with some of the technical issues and balance problems, it’s a most complex SF game so far and can provide hours upon hours of fun with its diverse new moves for each character and fun challenges to fulfill.

It’s great that four years later Street Fighter V is still receiving updates and continues to have a decent online community. I can’t recommend that owners of the previous versions pay for the upgrade since the new characters can be earned for free within the game, but for anyone who hasn’t played Street Fighter V yet, there’s no better version to pick up than the Champion Edition.
