The game's graphic is 10 years ago technology. Even street fighter 4 is better than this.

The online game mode has been ruined by the modern control scheme players. They are just spamming special attack by pressing one button over and over again. Not fun at all and punishing the skilled player is a mistake! No reason to play SF6 anymore.

Monthly Battle pass on top of Premium pass on top of Season Pass WOW!! Just warning you all that paying $60 for this game ain't enough! None of the Critic Reviews covers this issue why's that? Game journalists think we are all whales or stupid??

Doesn't help that this game's content is really lacking compared to other fighting games. Better wait for Ultra Street Fighter 6 a year or two

I'm a casual fighting game player so I was told this game has "modern control" which should have been great to someone like me........but it is actually awful! The modern control limited my moveset and I deal way less damage! Modern control is not fun at all! Feel scammed and cheated in buying this game that's not friendly to newbie at all.............

Capcom should not have bothered with the ps4 version. The world tour mode runs at a poor frame rate. The other modes have some slight frame drops. As for the game itself, world tour mode is a repetitive mess, arcade mode is poor done with no boss fight and the online on ps4 is quite bad.

The graphics are total garbage the modern controls ruin the game. Don't waste your money in this buy the SF5 CE is much better than this garbage .....

Very poor graphics and animation. Awfully small roster in a 2D fighting game by today standards. Just one alternate costume that you have to grind for in the poorly made single player story mode. What a complete letdown!

Why I can't play the game for which I paid? And why I can't use my nickname for which I paid too? Why Capcom support won't answer for 3 days?

The most unbalanced fighting game I've ever played. Netcode is a disaster too, connections keep failing!

Not grinding the uninteresting story mode for 10 hrs + just to unlock one costume lol

    Luke looks ugly

Man this is such unbalanced fighting game. Some is way overpowered, and then some like Zangief is way bottom-tier with no fighting chance. With so few fighters you can choose from this is not worth to buy full price!

Why is the game still asking me to pay for countless of battle pass and season pass? Not a complete game at all!

The changes made by Capcom to please the west definitely ruined the game. The soundtrack, one of the worst ever made, with boring Hiphop. The terrible art, with neons, paints and graffiti everywhere, if only they had been more inspired by the concept art of the characters, it would have been much better. Offline content looks like it was put in anyway to avoid complaints. I always liked Street Fighter and I always bought all the series, but unfortunately not this one. Expand

if you are looking for a fighting game to hold you for years to come then this might be it will be supported for a lone time but that also means microtransaction and if that bothers you than yea dont get it but if you dont mind then yea , fighting is solid all the mechanics is great and the drive bar is quite unique, lots to learn and lots of in depth tutorials for each character.

I've only played world tour mode but i got 30 hours out of it. i had a lot of fun but it felt like it could've been better, the things that could've made it better for me is more voice acting, better mission structure, better written story using the cast and a new game plus mode.

between all three mods I've spent most of my time in battle hob, it really is a fun way to interact with others and share tech and if you don't want to do that you can still que up for rank and casual the normal way

After spending a month with this game I can confidently say, this is one of the best fighting games ever made, I love the drive bar and how it's crafted, netcode works great, and battle hub is a lot of fun, can't speak about world tour mode since I didn't play it

SF6 not only inspires other popular fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken, but it also has the capability of showing other non-fighting games how cool and big the fighting genre can be. SF6 is a well realized and thoughtful package that satisfies its own fans and also brings so many new players to the genre.

From artistic and diverse set of characters that are so fun to play, a World Tour single player mode that is perhaps the best single player mode created in a fighting game ever while being goofy at the same time, to a seamless well featured arcady looking online lobby, in addition to cheesy bonus modes; SF6 redefines the iconic series and the fighting genre as a whole.

One of the best SF games ever, and really optimized to help newer players find their footing.

Game also has Modern controls, which allow special and super moves to be done with a press of the button. It sacrifices some damage, but a lot of folks online are enjoying it nonetheless. Classic mode is still available for purists and for those looking for more options and max damage.

Training mode is great, it has pre-built programs for training for anti-airs, offensive pressure, whiff punishing etc. Frame data is presented via a nice visual bar for those who have a hard time crunching frame data charts.

Edit: Had this quite a few weeks now. The dated aspects, cheese and characters are just outright grating on me and the limited choice of characters, further limited by half being **** is a huge disappointment. Capcom should have doubled the roster and not put it as DLC either. Capcom should have doubled the roster and not put it as DLC either. The whole game is ridiculous with the best characters being the ones I was playing in the 90's it's just dire. Outside of those JP is a bit of a crap character and Luke just looks like a juice head straight out of a Hollywood high school film.

The sound is really a deal breaker too. The audio choices are awful.

    My original comments:

    The good.

Plenty of game modes and well fleshed out for a fighter.

Some of the mechanics make for great counter play.

The easy to unlock artwork is great, as are costumes. I'm not usually that bothered about cosmetics but it is a nice touch.

The bad The same ridiculous character designs like in SF 4&5. Everyone looks juiced up to **** The women look hot, so if anime tiddies are up your alley then you're in luck. The cutscenes are total junk. I'd prefer them to not be there rather than have to keep skipping them. Music is totally forgettable but the music outside of the actual fights is outright terrible. It sounds dated and much of it sounds like bad gameshow jingles. Have Capcom never heard their competition. Come on guys, Killer Instinct destroys this on sound.

Gameplay. I went over the great mechanics but for me it is ruined by yet another slow game. SF2 had turbo options, SF3 was fast. Although the game is responsive, it still manages to feel slow and boring.

SF5 can barely hold my attention for 3, or 4 fights. SF6 does for maybe 5, or 6. The difference being that I like SF6 enough to play again another day and the fact I'll play it again is the reason for the 4 score. I play a lot of fighters and it just doesn't reach that level of enjoyability for me. Coming from KoF, Fatal Fury etc, this feels a bit sluggish.

The terrible. Now I haven't included this in my score but £25 for trickle fed DLC which should have just been part of the release is shocking. Awful business practice and truly put me off. Just give me the full damn game.

I feel like I am playing a £12-£15 game but it actually cost £45. I feel value for money is bad.

This is my newest fighter that I have owned nearly a week and I am sat here contemplating what I want to play today. Killer Instinct, KoF 15, any Blazblue, MK11, Injustice 2, Garou, 3rd Strike. SF6 isn't even on the cards and after less than a week, it should be my no1 choice.

Another downer isn't to do with the game itself but I feel Play Station controllers just feel horrible for fighters. If it had not been for me trading in other games for this and I was just buying it, then I would have preferred it on Steam with my old Xbox controller. In all it's not a bad game but I find so many of its competitors more fun to play. It is good having to guess your opponents next move, for defence, counters and throw resists and this is where the game does shine.

I think addition of a speed boost may improve my score. It's worth having in your collection but it wouldn't be in my top 10 fighters. Tbh I think I actually enjoyed Jump Force more than this and I generally only go for 2D fighters.

I think I would have preferred a modern equivalent of SF 2s, 3s and Alphas but this feels more like a modernised SF 4&5. Both of which are pretty dull and wank.

If the genre had fewer options then this might have got a 6/10 but competition outshines it.

This is a copy of my PS5 review. I have played both versions and my enjoyment does not differ between versions.

Just to add. Endless errors popping up just for offline play. On PS5 it took me and my mate a full hour a few days ago to get past errors.

My mate blamed WiFi but the PS5 was next to the router and every app on my phone was connecting fine.
