    This is how you restore a companies reputation! It’s really a well thought out and beautiful game! Now if Ea can keep making a few more Star Wars games like This without trying to rob us blind they could become an amazing games company , holding my breath and hoping for the best!

    The best Star Wars game I've played since Dark Forces. I love it. The planet environments are great. The light saber is a bit underpowered but probably has to be to provide any challenge. I'm playing on the level above Story Mode and it's not much of a challenge, but when I finish I'll definitely play again on a level harder. CONS are the rope to rope jumping is maybe too precise andThe best Star Wars game I've played since Dark Forces. I love it. The planet environments are great.     Solid game that defies some of the standard AAA conventions. It does not hold your hand. The comparisons made to Dark Souls are with good reason. Combat is challenging and rewarding, the puzzles aren't quite up to the Zelda franchises' but you'll definitely be scratching your head a few times.

    Best Star Wars game in a decade. A ton of fun to play. I'm trying to forget how good it was so I can replay it again sooner and feel like it's the first time all over again.

    I have never experienced a Metroidvania so flawlessly created in 3D. This is not only one of the best Star Wars Games ever made but also one of the few 3D Metroidvania genres done right in 3D. A lot of design risks were taken in this and it is worthy of a 10/10 in my opinion. I have over 30 hours in the game on Grand Master difficulty and still have more to do.

    Hands down the best Star Wars Story/RPG I have played to date. Granted I am only 3 hours in, but i have seen enough to make a judgement. Well done Respawn ! And finally EA respects the fans. Keep em coming. Graphics - 9

    Probably the best SW game to date. I hope we get more titles along this line. I thought I'd be playing Death Stranding, but this is the better game by far.

    Incredible! A single-player experience that focuses on tight combat and immersive story-driven narrative. It's been a long time coming but this is the ONE to finally prove that EA are perhaps worthy of the license. More like this please EA, Less BS "Live-services".
    Running on a RTX 2070 i7-9700k 4K HDR - perfectly fluid and a dream to play.
    Highly recommended.

    Finally a good star wars game, even though battlefront 2 (2017) has improved a lot since release, this is the definitive star wars video game experience of this generation. Respawn has my trust as a top tier developer and I eagerly anticipate their next game.

Gameplay is a mix between Uncharted/Metroid prime style exploration and a Souls-Lite combat system maybe more comparable to Batman Arkham Knight, play it on at least Master (3rd difficulty) to experience some Souls-ish combat.

    I don’t know how anyone is giving this game anything lower than a 9. But to each is own. It’s not a perfect game, but wow it’s a blast.

    Largely Uncharted set in the Star Wars universe, which to me is a great thing. Good story with excellent characters and voice acting, fun game mechanics, beautiful sets. Combat is a step above what Uncharted is, as it should be, for a game so dependent on lightsaber battling. The animations are phenomenal. The sound design was excellent, although that's just meeting expectations for a StarLargely Uncharted set in the Star Wars universe, which to me is a great thing. Good story with excellent characters and voice acting, fun game mechanics, beautiful sets. Combat is a step above what Uncharted is, as it should be, for a game so dependent on lightsaber battling.     This game surprised me. I'm not a fan of star wars but this game is very good. It is very reminiscent of uncharted, creed killers and a bit of dark souls in combat. I recommend this game.
    It's graphically beautiful even running at low resolution on PS4 PRO or XBOX ONE.
    Still the game deserves 10.

    Absolutely fantastic game. The art direction is top notch, well put together game design with a nice mix of good features, stunning sound (and music) and great characters and writing. Sometimes the backtracking is a little bit annoying but luckily you're not really forced to since the chests contain mostly cosmetics.     I give the game a golden medal for some of the best lightsaber duels ever put in games, Souls-like combat fits here perfectly, and creates a wonderful sense of progression from a weak, pushover padawan into a full-blown Jedi knight who is a force to be reckoned with. The atmosphere of Star Wars with it's sounds and visuals is unmatched. I love this universe. Great game!

    I would simply say it's the best SW game since The Force Unleashed.
    There are some graphic issues, but it's OK, especially in case:
    1. There was no first day patch.
    2. Single-play only, i miss that so far :)

    Fluent game play, strong story/characters, amazing visuals (admit it: we've gotten spoiled too much), and especially a very intelligent combination of exploration, puzzle solving, character building and fighting. In short: well-balanced 21th century game ingredients. Further: elegant Star Wars look and feel. I also liked the extras (making off, art design ...) and the music. Well worth the money!

    Pros:
    Combat is good
    Puzzles are decent and change the environment in meaningful ways
    Lightsaber customization is good
    Abilities are useful Characters are memorable and believable (BD-1 is a champion)
    I actually remember all of the characters names, only happens when characters/story is good
    Lightsaber combat is visually appealing
    Music is great
    Sounds effects are solid, especially lightsaber sound effects
    Decent exploration No fast travel, made the world feel bigger Ability tree was good and serviceable, more customizability or specialization would have been nice there Cons:
    Combat is a bit clunky, never understood the difference between single and double bladed combat Combat abilities were sluggish/not as responsive as I would have liked
    Some performance issues on Xbox, I doubt that would be the case on PC
    EA touched this game... even though it doesn't show

    Cannot wait for DLC for this game, I will buy it in a heartbeat. There had better be a sequel, especially because we didn't get to explore Mirrans character much.    … Expand

The visual effects were exceptional and beautiful and they are the best I have seen in a video game that I have played. I love all of the cool, cute, creepy, and awesome looking creatures and alien species. The writing and story were phenomenal but I did think the story was a little to short. The gameplay is so much fun and is the some of the best gameplay out of all the games I have played. I love all of the customization options that you get and how you get to change your Lightsaber, outfit, BD-1, and the Mantis. I loved how you get to find seeds and plant them on the Mantis. The acting was outstanding especically from Cameron Monaghan, Debra Wilson, Daniel Roebuck, Tina Ivlev, Elizabeth Grullon, and Liam McIntyre. The music was excellent. Perhaps most impressive is how in the age of Disney-owned Star Wars, Jedi Fallen Order manages to capture thatStar Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is the best Star Wars video game ever made. Yes, I'm completely serious. Even taking into consideration the 40-years of Star Wars video games we've received, this one stands out as being the absolute best from a gameplay and story telling perspective. Perhaps most impressive is how in the age of Disney-owned Star Wars, Jedi Fallen Order manages to capture that unique magic spark that made most pre-Disney Star Wars fell like, well, Star Wars.

    Jedi Fallen Order's gameplay can be best described as being what you'd get if Star Wars, Dark Souls, and Uncharted had a baby; it combines the technical and methodical melee combat of the Souls games with the deep exploration aspect of the uncharted games and wraps them in Star Wars wrapping paper. In this game you will acquire a large amount of jedi skills and techniques to take down an impressive array of foes ranging from your run of the mill stormtroopers to giant boss enemies that practically fill the entire screen. You must carefully time your attacks, parries, and blocks in order to take down all enemies in this game, and failure to do so will likely result in a quick death. When you die in Jedi Fallen Order you are respawned back to a Jedi Meditation circle you last saved at, much like the bonfires in the Souls games. You must then find the enemy that defeated you to regain your experience you were carrying since the last time you used it to level up your the main character, Cal's abilities, again much like using your souls to level up in the Souls games. While making comparison to souls, it should be said that Jedi Fallen Order is a much more forgiving game than any of the From Software Souls games, which might be a good or bad thing depending on your experience with that franchise. As for the Uncharted gameplay elements, you will climb cliff sides, slide down sheets of ice, and wall jump to get to where you need to go throughout the game's various planets and settings. As you gradually learn more abilities via experience and in-game events that tie into the story, you will be able to return to previously unreachable sections of the game in order to collect new items, lightsaber upgrades, force echos, and several other cool collectibles that should satisfy any completionist. The final result of marrying these two gameplay elements together makes for an incredibly fun and addictive experience where you'll constantly want to find out what's on the other end of a massive canyon, or make you think twice about facing off against a particular deadly looking alien in order to explore a certain area.

    While the gameplay is very enjoyable, the story and characters is where this game absolutely shines the brightest. Jedi Fallen Order takes place 5-years after the events of Revenge of the Sith where we play as Cal, a former Jedi apprentice who is now hiding out on a scrap planet where remnants of the Clone Wars are literally being broken down in order to fuel the expanding galactic empire. When Cal is exposed as being a former Jedi, he is thrust into a situation where he must find and protect information essential to future of the Jedi Order as him and his companions are chased across the galaxy by the empire and some Inquisitors that seek to get to this information before Cal. Each character in Jedi Fallen Order is very well written and voice acted, making many parts throughout the game very emotional and impactful in their own way. There are so many references to other pieces of Star Wars lore including the films and TV Shows that you will be constantly bombarded by fan service throughout your time with the game.

    Visually the game looks gorgeous. The game perfectly captures the look and feel of Star Wars down to a T, with various levels looking downright stunning. Character and enemies look excellent and authentic as well to the Star Wars universe. Main character facial expressions are motion captured to really capture the essence of each respective voice actor that each character is visually based off of as well.

    The audio in this game is great as well, borrowing a lot of the soundtrack from the movies, as well as adding some of its own tracks as well. While some of these original or remixed tracks aren't the greatest, all the music does a very good job at complementing everything that is occurring in the game around you. Voice acting is wonderfully delivered and sound effects will sound right at home in a Star Wars property.

    Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is an experience that all Star Wars fans need to play. It's story, characters, and levels make this feel like some long forgotten Star Wars film on the same level as the better films in the franchise. This game is perhaps the best, most genuine Star Wars experience since Revenge of the Sith was released in 2005, which is saying a lot for an original story within the Star Wars universe. Whether you're a diehard Star Wars fan or a casual gamer, this game will satisfy you.    … Expand

    Wow just wow. The over paid suits at EA with no clue, better wake up and see that this is how you make a video game. This game is 100% better than the trash Star Wars movies that Disney pushed upon us and brings us back to what Star Wars should be. Congrats to Respawn for making this.

    finally... decent star wars game came out.. been so hyped about this game.. and turned out Respawn made it again. ... i am not a big fan of finding directions and hidden spots in the game. but for some amazing reasons.. i love to do it in this game. (I am a huge star wars fan btw) strory telling is great and the combat... my gosh.. thank EA this time! ( i was really mad at you guys whenfinally... decent star wars game came out.. been so hyped about this game.. and turned out Respawn made it again. ... i am not a big fan of finding directions and hidden spots in the game. but for some amazing reasons.. i love to do it in this game.     At last an Star Wars game that I like, I have been loving it in every way , the music is great , the story is great , I am very happy with it and I hope they make a second one soon. Imagine in a near future making a Star Wars VR game, it would be awesome to experience that level of immersion in such a loved franchise. UPDATE: I’ve just finished it and let me confirm this is an amazingAt last an Star Wars game that I like, I have been loving it in every way , the music is great , the story is great , I am very happy with it and I hope they make a second one soon.     El juego es muy bueno, creo que la historia está muy bien lograda y no rompe la continuidad del canon. A su vez el juego posee buenas mecánicas y es entretenido, que es el fin último de un videojuego

    Наконец-то смог опробовать одиночную игру по вселенной SW. Смею заметить что на простой ps4 нормальный фпс, баги есть, но не критичные и это ещё в день выхода - молодцы Respawn и EA. Графика приятная, но никакого прорыва нет, скорее даже устаревшая, но мне очень нравится, свой колорит. Звук и локализация в целом хорошие, жаловаться не на что. Управление удобное. Игра затягивает.     EA at last you have understood, take out a game that is not "game as a service", does not make it unprofitable.

    Este mes tenia tres opciones: Death Stranding, Pokemon espada o este Jedi Fallen order. El primero al ser un juego del cual no se de que va por mucho que los análisis intente explicarlo no me merecía gastar mucho dinero en un producto en el que no se exactamente que me voy a encontrar, el segundo es un juego que aunque ha gustado a mucha gente se siente quizás algo desfasado pero aun asíEste mes tenia tres opciones: Death Stranding, Pokemon espada o este Jedi Fallen order. El primero al ser un juego del cual no se de que va por mucho que los análisis intente explicarlo no me merecía gastar mucho dinero en un producto en el que no se exactamente que me voy a encontrar, el segundo es un juego que aunque ha gustado a mucha gente se siente quizás algo desfasado pero aun así divertido así que mis opciones ahora quedaban reducidas a dos. Al final opte por comprar Jedi fallen order siendo este quizas el lanzamiento menos visible de este mes, pero bajo mi punto de vista el mejor de todos ellos. EA y Respawn entertaiment nos han hecho un regalo, en una industria en la cual priman los multijugador en linea aquí nos han dado una buena dosis de acción, plataformas, puzzles y exploración, mucha mucha exploración. Como se ha comentado en muchos medios, el juego toma prestadas mecánicas de Uncharted/ Tomb raider en los sistemas de escalada y plataformas aunque mas adelante estas mejoraran a medida que conseguimos habilidades recordandome por ejemplo a Crash Bandicoot o a Jak and Daxter, de Metroid toma la exploración, el juego esta dividido por planetas, unos mas lineales y otros mas grandes( estos son los que mas hay) y ambos estilos están muy bien conseguidos, en los mas grandes el juego nos invita a explorar cada rincón para encontrar secretos y muchas veces tendremos que retroceder por no tener x habilidad, este juego tiene una buena parte metroidvania la cual agradezco enormemente, estos planetas deberán ser visitados mas de una vez en lo que a la historia se refiere, respecto al combate este se inspira en la saga souls pero formándose su propia identidad gracias al uso de la fuerza, mecánica indispensable en esta aventura si pretendemos tener éxito, mientras combatía los efectos de espada láser al golpear me recuerdan a los de las precuelas( menciono estas pues son las que tengo mas recientes). Respecto a la duración, algunos analisis( Hobby Consolas) estiman que para completar la historia solo necesitábamos entre 6 y 10 horas, cosas totalmente falsa. No puedo decir exactamente cuanto me ha durado pues el juego no tiene un contador de horas, pero he llegado a estar unas cuantas horas solo en la primera visita de uno de los planetas explorando todo lo que estaba a mi alcance en ese momento pero yo estimo que al menos me ha llevado mas de 15 horas. Un punto muy negativo que hay que tener en cuenta es la optimizacion, si bien a mi no me ha empañado para nada la experiencia, en algunos planetas el juego rasca un poco y en uno de ellos al morir he notado como los enemigos no se cargaban instantáneamente, pero nada que un parche no pueda corregir, los tiempo de carga son algo lentos. En cuanto a la dificultad yo lo he estado jugando en la máxima, la cual te obliga a tener extremo cuidado con cada enemigo pues aunque la vida de estos no varia en las demas dificultades, en las mas altas nos quitaran una mayor cantidad de vida, la cual se puede recuperar con una suerte de estus similar a la saga souls. Muchos medios han dicho que la historia no es muy buena, bueno, la historia para mi no es lo que mas hay que tener en cuenta en este tipo de juegos pero para mi a cumplido, con el protagonista lo mismo, a los medios no les ha entusiasmado demasiado Cal Kestis pero a mi me ha convencido, sobre todo su relacion con el droide de este juego BD-1, que a apartir de este dia se convierte en mi droide favorito de todo Star Wars. Otro punto que se le ha hechado en cara es la falta de innovacion, pues yo pienso que hacen falta mas juegos asi en los tiempo en los que estamos. Para terminar, Star wars jedi fallen order es para mi el mejor juego que ha salido este año pese a sus puntos negativos, un titulo obligado tanto para los fans de Star Wars como para aquellos deseosos de un grandisimo juego de aventuras, vale cada céntimo de lo que cuestas y ha sido una sorpresa muy muy grande, espero impaciente por esa rumoreada secuela.… Expand

    I really loved this game. Personally, for me this game was a combination of a few games I really enjoyed. Starting the story, action, puzzles and the feeling of being a Jedi. Not too OP nor too weak.

    We need more games like this, the best part is where Vader appears!

    Most important factor of this game is the combat and the save system, this game copies those of the dark souls franchise and it works out very well. Most satisfying is the parry, it gets you on your toes and if you miss it you don't lose a lot like in dark souls. And it has interesting characters best example is BD-1. And it has movie type production (Lucas Arts) which means the game has one of the best cut scenes and music.

    All in all this game is really good, enjoyed every single moment looking for secrets, chests of fighting. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone who is a fan of the souls and star wars series.

    Respawn Entertainment went hard with this game. They managed to capture both Star Wars and Soul-like fans. The removal of lootboxes was a huge win for gamers. I know multiplayer being absent was something celebrated but if we can have this game with a PVP saber dueling mode on top of the already insane singleplayer then this game would be an 11/10

    I have been waiting for the game since 2016, and my expectations are not in vain. This game is one of the best star wars games. The gameplay is peppy, although I do not like souls like games, but I am a big fan of star wars, and for them I was ready to play this game. The plot is very good, certainly not 10/10 but still very interesting. In general, I am very satisfied, I recommend to buy.

    It's game for best, i'm Fan Star Wars, How many times has disney stamped on the bones of the fans and to the universe. But this game is not ****. the soundtrack, plot, gameplay, mechanics of Sool like games all at the highest level. I lead my blog on games on YouTube, and I will praise this game, because it is really good, in General 10/10.

    Great game!!!!! Love the lightsaber combat & skill tree! Graphics are excellent on my base PS4! Different planets, environments & music all very much feel like Star Wars! I wish that enemies wouldn’t just disappear after defeating them though, breaks the immersion a little bit :( also, I wish you could throw your lightsaber at enemies you are looking at (like up on ledges) instead of onlyGreat game!!!!! Love the lightsaber combat & skill tree! Graphics are excellent on my base PS4! Different planets, environments & music all very much feel like Star Wars!     By far a clear favourite of mine for 2019 and not because I'm a massive star war fan, actually quite the contrary. Watched the films, there alright and I suppose the game might be a little more enjoyable if you are a star wars fan but either way I found the game to be brilliant. Great story line, looks and feels great and the character development works really well. One of the best of 2019.

    If you get over a slower start without powers, we can assure you, that it will only get better and better. An entertaining mix of Uncharted, Tomb Raider and Dark Souls set in the Star Wars universe. You don’t have to worry; the game is worth its full price. [Issue#300]

    As someone with limited time to play games, the shame of Fallen Order stems from multiple frustrations. It’s hard to fight and, worse, it’s hard to move. The game’s timing issues distracted me from both the story and the beautifully constructed worlds; I was too focused on simply staying alive. My many (many, many, many) deaths discouraged me from exploring worlds — all of them beautiful — as did the simple fact that traveling by foot (even a Jedi’s Force-enhanced feet) takes forever.
