Just as fun and exciting as the previous outing, The Next Generation re-invigorates the game with a fresh bridge, a new race, and a new role -- Operations. While an updated training module might have been helpful, everything else about this DLC is ship-shape and ready to engage. Could this open up more DLC from shows like Enterprise, DS-9, or even Discovery? Please, Red Storm...make it so.

After all is said and done, this DLC gives me more of what I love, and kudos to Red Storm for taking on that challenge when I thought they had abandoned the game and moved on. Now, can I get some Cardassians?

The Next Generations DLC for Bridge Crew offers a brand new ship to play with, including a new role and overall feel. The new enemies are a nice addition to the game, although the expansion could have been a little more substantial.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew’s The Next Generation DLC is pretty special. The attention to detail afforded to the Enterprise-D is mind-blowing, the overhaul to Engineering (now Ops) is much-needed, and the expansion of Ongoing Voyages missions and new enemies add variety to an experience that can otherwise grow stale over time. However, it doesn’t do enough to really shake up or improve the core experience enough to elevate the game as a whole. It’s basically more of the same with slight alterations.

The game concept is really unique, I never have played those mix of game before. Don’t miss to play in multiplayer. It is one of the most fascinating concept of multiplayer coop game I have ever played. Adding VR on top is such a pleasure. But I am sure that not all peoples will like that. As a fan of the Star Trek universe it could be an advantage to like this game. The next gen expansion also adds a lot of fun (+1). The bridges and consoles are well designed and the game concept is really shiny, especially in multi-player. When you have a chance to play this game together with your friends in VR, you won‘t believe how much fun you will have when playing this game together. Expand

First of all, the attention to detail on this game is awesome! If you are remotely interested in Star Trek you’re gonna love this game. This is probably my favorite game to play at the moment and a must have for PSVR owners. It’s thrilling to get a great crew together and complete missions. Nearly all off the online interactions I have had with people have been pleasant and everyone is really helpful. The only reason I didn’t give this a 10 is because although there is a rank up system, there aren’t any unlocks or anything. Unlocking things for you avatar as you progress would have been great.
