    Pretty sure they spent the entire budget modelling stadiums, because other than that they cannot have spent more than a month on this game.
    Blocking is completely broken, about 80% of the time the ball rolls under the block because they block like 5 feet off the net.

    Literally every set is a SUPER high, slow, floaty ball, even the middle ones.
    Most of your sets will be diving one handed sets. It doesn't matter though, because they seem to be more effective than the real thing.
    No clear way to improve your roster in career mode.
    Not once have i seen the ball connect with the player's hand, usually its either the elbow or a few feet above their head.    … Expand

    It is not a game for gamer. It is a game for volleyball fans.
    There are bugs in the game, but I can overlook it because this game provide one critical experience- the true experience in the volleyball court,
    I wish there will be update soon. Even better if all the bugs in online mode can be removed first. It feels damn good to play with real person, for all the tactics and mind game.

    I was very excited for this game but came away disappointed. I expected a higher quality for the price. Hit detection (and animation) is probably the most disappointing aspect. I'm not sure if I've seen an arm or hand actually hit the ball when spiking. Ball starts moving before contact. Not quite as noticeable during gameplay but they frequently show replays where it is very obvious.I was very excited for this game but came away disappointed. Plus, other things are off like when blocking (for example) their feet reach the bottom of the net. Just looks off. Some of the aspects of the gameplay are okay though and I like the serving aspect of the game. I also think they do a reasonable job with the controls for controlling six players. I was probably most curious about that aspect of the game considering I had only played beach doubles in other volleyball games.… Expand

    Esse jogo é completamente cheio de bugs e já joguei jogos no PS2 com animações muito mais bem feitas do que de um jogo que não é nem velho sequer, lançado em 2019, aparentemente. Jogabilidade:

Também tem muitos casos onde você escolhe uma jogadora e ela fica plantada sem fazer nada, ou seja, a bola cai. Um dos piores jogos que eu já tive o desprazer de jogar e que só comprei por falta de opção no tipo de jogo.

    Geral:

    É um jogo que eu não recomendaria ninguém a comprar, a não ser que seu(ua) parceiro(a) goste desse esporte e não ligue muito pra games. Só assim pra aturar esse jogo. A nota 5 foi só por causa da minha esposa que gostou desse jogo e não ligou para os bugs grotescos.    … Expand

    If Spike Volleyball is not a very realistic simulation of volleyball, we cannot say that the bet is completely missed. A game that could please the true fans of this sport.

    Spike Volleyball’s gameplay loop isn’t atrocious, but poor animations and ugly visuals demonstrate the low-budget nature of the project. With glitchy online play and a rudimentary career mode, it’s extremely difficult to recommend this release – especially when you consider that it’s retailing at a price point five times greater than what it realistically deserves.
