Space Invaders Forever

Space Invaders Forever drops a trio of games in your lap that bring a variety of gameplay for solo and multiplayer experiences. It certainly treats the Space Invaders franchise appropriately, even though not all the games included work as planned.

An interesting trio of games that are fun to play but the collection as a whole feels a little barebones. For a series as important as Space Invaders it feels a little underwhelming though Space Invaders Extreme is still well worth your time!

Space Invaders Forever is pretty great for anyone who's a fan of Space Invaders. It offers three games that are very different in approach, one of them with a fresh lick of paint and one focused on local multiplayer for some part cooperative, part competitive Earth defending. It's hard to argue against the variety you get with these three classics.

A trio of twists on a classic, Space Invaders Forever brings together 3 inventive titles that can fill an evening with friends or a weekend score chasing alone. There’s caveats with all 3 games that long time fans will need to consider before purchasing but if you’re simply looking for a Space Invaders fix with a difference, this is the game for you.

This curious collection of Space Invaders titles brings together the reasonably well-known, and well-liked, Space Invaders Extreme with two fairly obscure other titles but we're left scratching our heads as to why Taito didn't include games from the original arcade series or better games like Infinity Gene. Instead you've got a decent game and two others that no-one asked for but die hard Space Invaders fans should get something from this compilation.
