Oct 24, 2017Played around 5 to 7 hours. I can handle boring quests, but only if they come with healthy dose of humor, which is not the case with this game. This is basically the first game without good jokes and writing.

Oct 21, 2017Bugs, inexcusable Ubisoft DRM and poor optimization really hampered what could be a great game.
The amount of content is amazing, graphics and sound are great but it has really been let down by working with Ubisoft. -

Jul 23, 2019Game overall looks good and fun BUT there is a know bug that breaks the entire game. Quest "Gotta go fast". This seems to be broken on all platforms and if you see my zero on User Score - that means Ubisoft was not able to fix it. After 7 hours of playtime I can just delete my saved game and start over. Not a great experience...

Dec 9, 2017Utter crap. Counterintuitive interface, unclear mission objectives, no hints that are any use whatsoever, repetitive missions, and nearly impossible combat. Bought this game on clearance and it's STILL a rip-off. Will be sold ASAP to the nearest resale store. Do NOT assume if you liked SoT that this game won't suck.

Jan 26, 2018Imagine if halo or call of duty came out with a game that had the exact same map as the last game but less of it, a new story and slightly different attacks in battle, same old hunt around for side missions, go find x amount of x, this game seems to come secondary to the storyline, it seems really lazy and rehashed from the stick.... CRAP! the storyline is funny, just go watch that on youtube.

Aug 26, 2022Just plain bad. Some of the lowest frame animations I have ever seen.
Humour for 10 year olds. Thank God I played for free. -
Mar 9, 2022One of the **** games ever made. Boring, lame and unfair. The story is bad, the fighting system is bad, the gameplay is bad. And it is all about farts. And wokeness. The enemies, especially the bosses, are totally op, you have to restart the fights again and again. There is no fun in this game, Ubisoft made it only for cash grabbing. Better don't even touch it.

CD-ActionJan 10, 2018The Fractured but Whole might be a better game (mainly thanks to significantly improved combat) but The Stick of Truth was a better South Park by a long shot. The Stick was brimming with humor and creativity (remember the 8-bit Canada?), this one is a forced compilation of jokes that are mostly either lazily rehashed (City Wok’s owner mispronouncing words, they took our jobs, poof! It’s gone and many, many more) or shallow. Where’s the show’s brilliant satire!? I’m not just disappointed by the fact that Parker and Stone botched this. As a die-hard fan of the show I’m simply embarrassed. [13/2017, p.46]

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 2, 2018Return to South Park with an improved combat system and superheroes instead of Elves. It's still entertaining, but the first game (included in the pack) was more hilarious and had better side missions. [Issue#280]

Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 15, 2017Its not the game its forerunner was, but The Fractured But Whole's accessible combat tactics and occasional rib-ticklers ensure most players will have a good time. [Christmas 2017, p.96]
