    Absolutely slow and boring game. The visuals are mediocre and is not polished for PS4 Pro, also no HDR. The game physic is really bad, feels synthetic and is far away from reality. It is not worth the money and also the time you need to move 50 meter in this open world.

    On PS4 there's a lot of bugs game crashes every 45 minutes or so. After another crash my saved game file went corrupt and I had to restart from the beginning

    If you like slow repetitive drawn out gameplay and missions, where you spend hours looking at the arse end of a vehicle crawling along at a snails pace, this game is for you. Ill stick to watching paint dry, it more entertaining. usually I am very forgiving with glitches and bugs , but it this game they break progress and really mess with the experiance.

It makes you start with a highway truck on muddy roads - how is that realistic in any universe?     So much potential, but the garage and truck management side of it is full of awful logic and bugs, definitely shouldn’t have been released in the dog **** condition it was. Would be a thoroughly enjoyable game if they released it in a useable condition and worked on the garage / truck management as well as coop game jointing and shared progress.     Being an off-road fan in real life, this game ticked so many boxes for me. I bought it and loved it. This was my favourite game on PS4. Yes it had some glitches and imperfections but these were easily over looked. I Spent 100+ hrs on SnowRunner over the course of a month and loved every minute of it. Then the 9th June update came.....

    The 9th June update changed 2 core components so    Being an off-road fan in real life, this game ticked so many boxes for me. I bought it and loved it. This was my favourite game on PS4. Yes it had some glitches and imperfections but these were easily over looked. I Spent 100+ hrs on SnowRunner over the course of a month and loved every minute of it. Then the 9th June update came.....

    The 9th June update changed 2 core components so drastically, i just can't play this game anymore. The first change was to the steering. The steering is now overly sensitive and super twitchy. The worst part though, is that it auto self-centres, After 100+ hrs of playtime i'm of course going to have trouble adjusting to a new steering mechanic. But it's not just that aspect alone, This new mechanic just doesn't coincide with the physics of the rest of the game. So not only do i personally feel this was a very bad choice for the developers to make, i also feel it was a bit of an unfair move on the developers part, to change a core function of the game so drastically. An option to choose between the old and new controls would have been a much better move (Arcade/SIM).

    The second major issue is the graphics. Since the 9th June update, it's like a soft filter has been added. The graphics are noticeably less sharp and have a blur to them.

    As i have the game physically. I decided to uninstall it from my PS4 and re-install from disc. Only this time NOT accept any updates/patches. This caused my save file to corrupt. I have lost all vehicles that weren't stored in garages and mission and game stat progress is completely messed up. The game runs for 5 minutes before a game breaking glitch occurs..

    Really annoyed at Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive for this botched update. They have ruined this game by drastically changing core game mechanic components that needed to be "tweaked" at most. Very disappointed for the money i've spent and the time lost with this game based on a bad decision. Will be steering (pun intended) well clear of any of their products in the future. Fingers crossed they fix these 2 flaws but i won't be holding my breath.    … Expand

    This game is terrible it crashes everyday the vehicles dont control well the winching is terrible the only thing i like like is the graphics and that there is more than logging

    Snowrunner seems to be a Marmite of a game - people seem to love it or hate it. Unfortunately I fall into the latter category. I'm giving it a score to try and be more balanced but it really rubbed me the wrong way.

    The graphics are top-notch and very easy on the eyes. Night time seemed to be a nightmare to drive in, but fortunately you can skip time easily to counteract this.     The gameplay of Snowrunner is an incredibly mixed bag. For me the steering is an absolute mess, being very slow and unresponsive. A simple act of driving down a road is a challenge. The game boasts of detail and preciseness, but in my experience it was just fiddly and monotonous. The game begins by placing you at a massive disadvantage with only a couple of underwhelming trucks. Whilst normal for most games, this turns a game like Snowrunner which is designed to be a bit of a slog into an unenjoyable slog. Progress is too slow for me to enjoy it and the missions are very banal.

    Snowrunner prides itself on encouraging you to chart a path to your destination, but with the limitations of the game I didn't have many options. It should be said that I didn't make it past the first 'level' but I see it as a failure of the game to engage me as I had already invested a few hours by this point.

    It could be that Snowrunner just isn't for me, and that's why I haven't lowered my score further than I have. It just seems like a missed opportunity of a game to me and I won't be seeking out any other titles in the series.    … Expand

    Rubbish!!! 50+ hours playing this game when all of a sudden trucks are going missing, cargo is getting duplicated to the point where it crashes my game, camera jumps around, trucks are getting damaged even when they're at a halt and trucks are sent flying when i hit something. Today they updated it and it got even worse!!! Весь грунт в игре очень своеобразный, по одному вы спокойно проедите, а на другом вы сразу    Баги, постоянный урон, огромный расход топлива, физика грунта, скучный геймплей.

    Snowrunner уже 3я игра от разработчика Павла Загребного (Spintires, MudRunner, SnowRunner). 3 части подряд приходится возить дрова, только в SR это хоть как-то разнообразили, но суть осталась одна, всё такой же скучный геймплей без каких-либо признаков жизни в игровом мире, ни ботов, ни различных событий в реальном времени, ничего. Появились на карте - тут надо открыть вышки, выполнить 10 миссий по основным заданиям, тут 5 поручений и там 3 миссии на время.    … Expand

    Never have I ever bought a game and the graphics were reduced from an update. If working mirrors causes this issue then give us ps4 players an option to turn it off or on at the very least! How does Xbox players have working vehicle lights but ps4 doesn’t? Yes it’s not game breaking but it takes away the immersion part of the game. I don’t even want to play the game in low light conditionsNever have I ever bought a game and the graphics were reduced from an update.     No cash, almost no vehs, no available upgrades. Even don't know how to start - no tutorials!! What to do first?!?
    Very disappointment, in compare to Mudrunners.

    Very promising... to be a major let down after many/many hours of play due to a major showstopping bug!

    Learning the game is a challenge as the tutorial is terrible. However, once I mastered the basics, I really enjoyed the scenery, the challenges, upgrading my trucks to make each delivery easier and advancing to new maps. I put a lot of hours into this game. However, once I mastered the basics, I really enjoyed the scenery, the challenges, upgrading my trucks to make each delivery easier and advancing to new maps. I put a lot of hours into this game. And would have rated at minimum a seven.

    BUT, Snowrunner has a major misstep in design and code, there isn't a save function. The game does periodically save, which isn't the issue. The issue is when you quit the game. When you come back to the game, there are occasions where your trucks are missing. Meaning--vanished, gone. I spent a lot of time looking, searching through my garage, checking each map. But nope, it's like someone beamed them out of the game.

    Still, I was enjoying the game and not letting this bug stop me. I just replaced the two trucks I lost by repurchasing. I had enough cash so it wasn't a showstopper.

    Avalanche ahead. I advanced to several of the sections of the map in Russia and then the dreaded "lose my truck bug" reappeared. After I lost my 7th truck, i quit playing and will not play again unless they fix this showstopping bug! What a let down. The progression of obtaining new trucks, earning cash to upgrade and then to have them vanish is unforgivable.

    I DO NOT recommend buying this game with this major bug.    … Expand

    If you want a good coop experience then don't bother yourself. Coop mode in this game is a total joke. Game creators say "The entire game can be played from start to finish in co-op.". Well it's not true. Simply because they can't save the progress, vehicles etc. when they play as a guest so they have to (preferably) complete the game in single player and then they can play with you.If you want a good coop experience then don't bother yourself. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. Let's say they did a tutorial so they probably have a pickup and a truck (maybe two) in their garage. You start a coop mode, gain progress, unlock new missions, maps, vehicles but all your friends can do is follow you in those few vehicles they unlocked at the beginning.
    The terrain is getting more challenging, the cargo is getting heavier... You don't seem to have any problems because you unlock more and more big and powerful vehicles (and save them in your garage) . What about your friends? Well, they still follow you in their 3 silly vehicles because in order to get these monstrous trucks you have in your garage they have to: 1. buy them; 2. play the game solo; 3. use your vehicles. And still at the end of the day, after playing a lot (with you), they check their progress in solo mode and it turns out that all they've achieved is completing a tutorial.    … Expand

    what a lovely landscape and so many different undergrounds to drive on even snow!
    really like the look, it runs smoothly, pretty high fidelity game.

    but what makes it really unplayable is the REALLY bad way config of your steering works. You launch the game, everything is fine, next time you launch it, your sound doesnt work and your steering does not work either. total crap. drives me crazy!

    This game is not finished! The physics is broken and gameplay is stretchedd for increase the number of hours of the game. Previous game in franchise Mudrunner is much better and more honest. I do not recommend to buy Snowrunner!

    Over 20 hours in this game and I still enjoy it. All those hours are spent in Michigan so far with only an hour spent in Russia to get the Tyga truck. The game is much more fun once you rank up to 6 and can buy AT tires that give you a little more grip in mud, also the Season-Pass vehicles help out a lot if your new.
    The game is not forgiving at all, be mindful of what your doing or you    Over 20 hours in this game and I still enjoy it. Season 4 release has made the game unplayable for me. Constantly getting bogged down, a snail would move faster. You are punished for trying to find shortcuts as the map is huge and the roadsGame gets boring quickly. Graphics are good. Other than graphics game isn't close to realistic.     It’s not an easy game, per se, but then it never claimed to be. Once you get your head around the time and patience aspect, SnowRunner is going to engross you. It won’t win any Game of the Year awards for being niche, but then neither does Train Simulator. If you can convince some friends to join you, then even better. But even as a solo experience, there’s some absolute joy to be had when you get stuck into it.

    A true Assassin’s Creed Odyssey of driving games. There’s always something to do, something to discover. A huge game and loads of fun for everyone (that enjoys driving very, very slowly, that is). [07/2020, p.52]
