    And yet despite its inclusion of uplifting yet ultimately vapid inspirational statements, the whole thing comes across as cynical to us. The developer’s dreamed up an agreeable yet largely mediocre Trials clone and stroked the egos of a bunch of influencers in order to give it a cast of characters that a terrifying number of children will be attracted to. On the one hand, you’ve got to respect the hustle of the studio, finding a way to make its otherwise unremarkable title stand out from the crowd. On the other hand, Holly H has to be unlocked, and we’re not sure we’ll ever forgive for the company for that.

    Have you every wanted to know what it feels to be a self important narcissist and hop on an inflatable banana in your bathing suit to go down a series of slides and constantly bash your head on concrete?
    No? Well then this game isn’t for you.. because this is what slide stars is, a nearly unbearable physics platformer where you do just that, pick your favorite influencer you’ve never heard of that somehow have millions of followers on Instagram, choose if you wanna see their boobs bounce or some abs while you play ], and which inflatable item you wanna do this on… enjoy a sweet little self important highschool yearbook quote about how nothing is more attractive than a genuine smile, because you care what some 20 year old Italian boy finds attractive.. and collect star pieces and coins.. complete challenges like getting likes by doing crazy stunts such as almost hitting your head on concrete but don’t, but fret not.. playing this game will make you want to do just that, but in real life.. #nofilter
    this game is just so unfun to play, its physics based and touching anything but wood and water will instantly kill you.. so you have to constantly figure out how to get down or up certain sections without accidentally flipping over or bumping into something youre not supposed to.. in a game all about collecting stuff to unlock its characters and cosmetics… it’s a bit backwards,, either let me explore and collect nd race the timer like a sonic game or let me go really fast doing the best I can like a 3d sonic game.. one or the other.. as these obstacles aren’t fun to overcome, especially not when the game clearly wants you to try and take different paths.. the risks just aren’t worth it.. and the games pace is a slog.. im going to have more fun deleting this game than I did playing it.
