    So the game has been greatly censored in a recent update not even by the original developer. I bought this game because of the mechanics but also because of the artwork and dark themes which the current rights holder went through great lengths to butcher. I can't even get a refund for this butchered game. WOW!

    Censorship will not be tolerated. It was a very good video game. Besides all of that censorship I would like to say that It is a very original and fun fighting game.

    Do not support censorship, let this game die just like the developers want. I wish I could get a refund for this game. The original game was a fun fighting game, this is a butchering from people that are not even the original creators, from people that are more interested in pushing their political agenda than to make a goof game.

    The series is now in the hands of self-righteous busybodies that think they have a moral high ground that really only exists in their delusional heads, so the games have been censored to remove content that offends them at the expense of the fans. Don't give them a penny.

    Used to be a 10, until they decided to tear apart their game and backer rewards from 10 years ago, big band story doesn't have an impact now, red armbands make people cry so they had to be removed and worse of all, they take down art from the digital art book, what's next? Coming to your house to remove pages from a physical art book because they disagree with their old way of thinking?

    exelente juego pero mala decision lo de censurarlo a tanto tiempo de haber salido, por lo menos ya sabemos si sacan otro juego de la saga que gran parte de sus fans incluyendome ya no lo compraremos

    The way the devs treat this game is purely disgusting from a costumer point of view, they remove content with no valid reasons and completely ignore the grand majority of the people who bought their product. Remember that even if you liked all the recent changes, there is nothing stopping the devs from removing something you do like.

    Simply put, it's the best value in fighting games. The in-depth tutorial and easy-to-understand systems made this the game that opened my eyes to how fun fighters *could* be. If you like MvC2 & Guilty Gear, you'll love Skullgirls.

    It's the game that got me into fighters, and it's the standard against which I judge all others.

    Ir has an amazing art, great animations, wonderful music, a story Mode with a not so common environment, and even if the setting can be a little cliché, the amazing Gameplay full of possibilities, and overall charisma makes It a great Game, even greater when you notice that the videogames was madres by an indie team.

    Perfection doesnt exist, but as a 2D fighter this One sure is close, my    Ir has an amazing art, great animations, wonderful music, a story Mode with a not so common environment, and even if the setting can be a little cliché, the amazing Gameplay full of possibilities, and overall charisma makes It a great Game, even greater when you notice that the videogames was madres by an indie team.

    This is a really creative and super fun modern day fighter! SkullGirls takes cues from a variety of different series and does them in a way that feels like an homage rather than a jumbled mess. One feature that is new to me is the amount of characters on a team, and how it can affect your play style.     Very good game but I wish I spent my 25$ on something else because I am god awful at fighting games, I can't even beat some of the tutorial levels. But, one thing, can the creators add some sort of filter to cover up the characters underwear? Other than that great game.

Add a diverse list of characters(with a tremendous amount of costume swatches), a rich story line, an incredibly in-depth tutorial for each character, and super fun, mid-to-fast paced combat system. That is Skullgirls.

    So you understand how good this game is... You can't    Think of all the amazing things, that all of the best fighting games have done at one point or another... And then! Add a diverse list of characters(with a tremendous amount of costume swatches), a rich story line, an incredibly in-depth tutorial for each character, and super fun, mid-to-fast paced combat system.     So you understand how good this game is... You can't accidentally hit the pause button. While you are playing, you have to hold the button down before it confirms and pulls up the menu. That is so simple and amazing that it seems ridiculous that it isn't in every fighting game ever. What that means: Pacing in the match is never shut down because someone panicked, started button mashing, and BLAM... Timing's ****

    Easy to pickup, difficult to master.

    Why a 9? There is room for improvement when it comes to online matchmaking. On the PS4 at least, it can be a bit buggy and crash the game every 1 out of 8 times or so.    … Expand

    I decided to give a vote and i give 5 because the game itself, for who are looking for a funny gameplay in a fighting game this is fine, but the new devs ruined this game with censorships, removing what people was enjoying and paid for.

    Probably the worst handled censorship contraversy I've seen in my life, I've adored this game for many years but the new devs are butchering it to the point of removing fan favourite character's backstories and 700K kickstarter stretch goals that have been out gor over a decade and well recieved.

    Unnaceptable the state of thegame, and the devs are censoring any criticism.

    After the original creators of the game were forcefully pushed out - new team decided to dictate their new rules, finding Nazi symbols IN A LITERAL UMBRELLA, removing or changing IN A WORSE WAY anything they see fit as Sexually Offensive in a GAME THAT WAS CREATED BEING THAT WAY FROM THE START.

    Final nail, new team consists of Furries who literally draw art of Sexually Offensive Half-Naked Humanoid Animals - which I guess is okay nowadays?! AND they also have favourited Sexual Depictions of characters they actually Censored ON THEIR TWITTER PAGE

    Trying to kneel before LGBTwhateverthehell+, SJW elites, other "opressed minorities" and also blatantly lying about their own beiliefes - is simply disgusting

    Al chile es una calamidad lo que le hicieron a este juego, la cual considero innecesaria. Por un lado tenemos los cambios a Filia en su ropa de lo cual casi nadie se quejo, pues daban igual. Pero empezar a censurar el pasado de Big Bang, eliminar los logotipos del ejercito de las garzas negras y demas cambios es una completa estupidez sin fundamentos. Esto viene ya que el juego siempreAl chile es una calamidad lo que le hicieron a este juego, la cual considero innecesaria. Por lo que porque cambiar el juego, hacerse politicamente correctos, dios el juego de eso es, de ser lo contrario de lo que es convencional y dice el estudio a cargo "es para atraer mas publico", es una estupidez tan grande, pues en el juego existe la skin LoveCrafted esta skin es de un artista NSFW. Para aquellos que dicen que son unos pajeros por quitarles un poco de morbo, es como tomar agua con la boca cerrada, de esto siempre fue el juego, el juego es lo que es gracias a la comunidad, por ello lleva tanto tiempo en el mercado y ahora va directo a su tumba.… Expand

    Skullgirls stands out because of its insane character designs and dito move sets. Beneath this shiny layer of craziness, however, it's nothing more than one more thumb-twisting 2D fighter that doesn't quite make it to the level of its colleagues.
