For olderThis is a cute, but grindy indie that takes about 10 hours or so to play through the first time and accomplish most of the goals. For older gamers like me, there's a definite nostalgic feeling like we're playing a forgotten "Legend of Zelda" game, complete with maze-like dungeons and traps, plants you can whack with your sword and get currency or supplies (?), and comfortably predictable enemies once you've seen them a couple of times. (The ghosts, though, will cause you a bit of a panic the first time, though - good job, sound design).

There's nothing considerably fresh or original about the game. The lead being a female is (fortunately) not as surprising or revolutionary as it was during the time of Samus Aran. There are a couple of cute mini games (I really wish the "fishing" game was available sooner), and the adventure unfolds at a quick pace. Not a lot of exposition, which is good, but if you want to upgrade all your gear (armor, sword, bracers), and buy the ghost merchants out of their stock, you will have to grind for it (and I did). Otherwise the game might only take you 3 or 4 hours if you're good at avoiding damage.

I started to play heroic mode, but I just couldn't get up to play it through a second time. Maybe I'll come back to it in time. I think I bought this on Playstation Store for a dollar. I got more than my money's worth out of it, so if you're looking for a pleasant distraction, you could certainly do worse.
