    While I mostly enjoyed what Shadow Warrior 3 has to offer, I can't recommend throwing down $50 for a relatively short Doom Eternal clone that lacks in replay value. There's no New Game Plus or even a chapter select which makes every upgrade and challenge easily missable unlike its predecessors, and that is beyond frustrating. It still retains the dirty humor and B-Movie cheesy gore factorWhile I mostly enjoyed what Shadow Warrior 3 has to offer, I can't recommend throwing down $50 for a relatively short Doom Eternal clone that lacks in replay value.     Flashy, fun for an hour or two, but guns lack oomph, gameplay loop is exhausting, and the story/characters dont inspire much. AA doom that is not as engaging or fun as it looks. Maybe objectively it is not a bad game, but I think this falls under the it is not for me personally.

    The gunplay is fun, the story is what you’d expect if you’ve played the previous versions. Unlike the previous versions this game was extensive platforming, which takes away from the game tremendously. It’s already been mentioned but I’d concur with the comparison to Doom Eternal’s platforming, the difference being Doom is an all around superior game to begin with.     Well, basically this is a doom clone.
    Fast-paced gameplay that gets a bit repetitive but is still fun.
    The problem is that this is the only positive about this game. The "Story", characters, and the whole dialogue/monologue are really terrible, cringe and it feels like all the "jokes" were written by a 10-year-old. I would only get this if you are looking for a short game with fun    Well, basically this is a doom clone.

    I've never played any of the prior SHADOW WARRIOR games. I don't share the criticism leveled towards this game from the franchise veterans. It was a fun arena shooter, similar to DOOM. This game did include a few unique aspects, such as a distinct glory system where you earn health if you kill enemies with ranged weapons and ammo if you kill enemies with your katana, which was really cool.I've never played any of the prior SHADOW WARRIOR games.     Lovingly crafted and unpretentious, Shadow Warrior 3 is equal parts hilarious and thrilling, thanks in no small part to its exceptionally charismatic protagonist.

    Shadow Warrior 3 has good combat, but its content is too short to recommend it at launch. It is certainly a title to keep on the radar if you are a fan of this type of FPS.

    Fun visuals aside, this is a bland and boring shooter that pales in comparison to both Doom and its own predecessors. Back to the shadows with you. [Issue#13, p.91]
