    Really fun story with great, fast fluid gameplay. I was a bit bummed that the game dropped the coop option that shadow warrior 2 had, but other than that it was a fun game that didn't overstay its welcome.

    The sense of humour is super weird, but I loved it! People talk about bugs, but I have not found any at all! It's an AA game, so you should know that it has limitations. Platforming is cool, but mostly linear. I did enjoy it, but sometimes I would get lost. But the game quickly loads and off you go, no worries, it doesn't break the game or the flow. It's short, but it feels great. NoThe sense of humour is super weird, but I loved it! People talk about bugs, but I have not found any at all!     this game is simply an FPS king all tho it didn't come with a next-gen port but playing it on Ps5 with FPS boost is just great and addictive. it's simply 10/10 for me

    Let's see, I started it from the same day it came out and I finished it the same day, but something left me super unhappy is the repetition of everything that happens throughout the game, a mini game of obstacles and an area limited to the appearance of enemies In addition to being a repetitive game, it has bugs where you have to jump and always meet an instant death.     The perfect B movie game. Short, frantic and most importantly, fun. Great movement , solid gun play and a good array of weapons. In my opinion this is an underrated series. There was a few frames dropped at certain points but not enough to hamper the gameplay. It doesn’t over stay it’s welcome and has enough to keep you entertained for it’s run time. Can’t recommend it enough.

    I started this game having played through Shadow Warrior 2, which was not perfect but fairly entertaining. The game begins with a bit of platforming before you are dropped in to a small arena where you chop up a few enemies. Neat! Then a bit more platforming...with another arena. And repeat. And repeat. Now, I hate to leave a game unfinished, so I continue    Let me paint you a picture-

    I started this game having played through Shadow Warrior 2, which was not perfect but fairly entertaining. The game begins with a bit of platforming before you are dropped in to a small arena where you chop up a few enemies. Neat! Then a bit more platforming...with another arena. And repeat. And repeat.

    Now, I hate to leave a game unfinished, so I continue through all of these unskippable arena fights. The game begins to introduce flying enemies and burrowing underground enemies, who are incredibly frustrating. Your sword isn't really viable anymore because each enemy is weak to a specific gun (which means if you hit it with the right gun at exactly the right moment it takes eight shots to kill it instead of nine, using a gun that holds five bullets max).

    Meanwhile, the story is flat as a pancake. Our hero creates a problem by being an idiot and has to solve it. All while being a bargain bin Deadpool, with extra bathroom humor. It's like watching stand up comedy at a Middle School talent show. The writers are trying so hard to hit that South Park stride (meaning current South Park, not back when it was funny).

    At around seven hours in I struggle through the nine hundredth arena and begin a terrible platforming section that involves riding a float down an ice river. I mostly have trouble using a poorly implemented grappling hook that will frequently glitch out and not grab on to anything or fling you right into the ice (i.e your death). I try five or six times and put it down for the night.

    Next morning-on my Birthday, when I have the whole day set aside to play video games-boot it up and nail it on the first try (felt great-I beat the glitches!)-cutscene starts-the game crashes mid poo joke ("my Playstation even gave up on the story" I think)-No big deal! I'm almost to those sweet end credits, so I reboot the game-Only to find no save file. Happy birthday...

    Now, I try to find a solution online, I look in my saved data-nothing. That's SEVEN HOURS of completely lost time! Even if the game was worth playing through again, how much time would i lose the next time? Why don't they have a manual save? or a backup save file? What current developer ships a game out in this sort of a state?

    This isn't a review (you can't score a game in negative numbers, so it wouldn't be accurate) in is a PSA. If you read nothing else here-DO NOT BUY THIS GAME OR GET IT THROUGH PSNOW! YOU HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF LOSING HOURS OF YOUR LIFE TO A GLITCH. Even if they fix it, this game is a blatant rip off of Doom Eternal (including the platforming sections that no one enjoyed). It isn't fun or funny and it will absolutely ruin your day to some degree.    … Expand

    Playing this game on via PSNow on a PS5….. no haptics, adaptive triggers or 3D audio is supported slightly disappointing

    This developer needs to be completely banned from all store fronts. One of the worst experiences ever.

    The moment I saw the Cal arts artwork with the guy with gross band aids over his face I was worried about this game...The tone is complete off in thus third game most likely due to puriton PC Devs , it's not funny and not even vulgar like the first games..Them there the messy gameplay. The game is tring to be Doom but feels like drunk doom..Also the game is short.     While I mostly enjoyed what Shadow Warrior 3 has to offer, I can't recommend throwing down $50 for a relatively short Doom Eternal clone that lacks in replay value. There's no New Game Plus or even a chapter select which makes every upgrade and challenge easily missable unlike its predecessors, and that is beyond frustrating. It still retains the dirty humor and B-Movie cheesy gore factorWhile I mostly enjoyed what Shadow Warrior 3 has to offer, I can't recommend throwing down $50 for a relatively short Doom Eternal clone that lacks in replay value.     Flashy, fun for an hour or two, but guns lack oomph, gameplay loop is exhausting, and the story/characters dont inspire much. AA doom that is not as engaging or fun as it looks. Maybe objectively it is not a bad game, but I think this falls under the it is not for me personally.

If the arenas were bigger and less crammed with the amount of enemies on display I actually believe this would be better and tighter as a boomer shooter. Honestly very mid. The final boss is also kinda average and annoying.     As a AA game, Shadow Warrior 3 is a classic shooter with more style than I have seen in a long time. The game play is straight up "Doom" with a grappling hook. You have a ton weapons and have to fight off a ton of enemies. Like the "Doom" reboot, you have to clear a small arena full of enemies before advancing to the next sequence. The fights become progressively harder as enemies becomesAs a AA game, Shadow Warrior 3 is a classic shooter with more style than I have seen in a long time. The game play is straight up "Doom" with a grappling hook. You have a ton weapons and have to fight off a ton of enemies. Like the "Doom" reboot, you have to clear a small arena full of enemies before advancing to the next sequence. The fights become progressively harder as enemies becomes spongier. As an innovative twist, takedowns on enemies turns their body parts into weapons. So you want to collect takedown energy (whatever they call it) and save it for the enemies with the best weapons from takedowns.

    Nothing much to say about the gameplay except it is Doom with a grappling hook. As noted in "Shadow Warrior 3", everyone has a grappling hook these days. The Shadow Warrior also sings the "Spider-Man" theme as he swings around. This kind of insider humor sets "Shadow Warrior 3" apart from other games. The last game I played that was this funny was "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy". Most all games that are shooting for Game of the Year are dower, sullen experiences that question the nature of mankind. What a relief then, to play a game that focused on fun.

    The game is also sublimely colorful. Enemies are Japanese demons that combine living organisms with everday objects like twisted Pokemon. The Shadow Warrior jokes and keeps things light as he mows through them. The game has many platforming sequences that utilize the grappling hook. My congratulations to anyone who can play through this in the limited lives mode as I often launched the Shadow Warrior off of cliffs.

    The story is short in every respect. My playthrough was less than 4 hours on easy mode. The campaign as about as long as the campaign in "Titanfall 2". You need a thing to do a thing and then things escalate. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. What makes this game AA is its length. You can see the production value in the cutscenes, voice acting, weapons, and environments. It's just that the developer does not have to spend as much as they would on a longer game. And I am 100% fine with that. I am tired of padding, fetch quests, daily challenges, etc. AA games are becoming my jam.

    Full disclosure: I downloaded this via the PlayStation Plus Extra collection and only because the game is leaving PS+ on July 5th.. This kind of AA experience is perfect for a game subscription service. Everyone says they want to play AAA games on day one, but they were going to buy those games on day one anyway. The real gems are games like this. If you see it on sale, don't hesitate. It's good.    … Expand

We didn’t want it more like what the kids think of as an “old school shooter”. The "Story", characters, and the whole dialogue/monologue are really terrible, cringe and it feels like all the "jokes" were written by a 10-year-old.     Il gioco non è italiano e ci sono tutte le lingue del mondo tranne che italiano quando persino un titolo indie è quantomeno tradotto in italiano è scandaloso come questo non possa esserlo, tantomeno rifiuto a prescindere di giocarlo, per una produzione così non si è mai visto il tralasciare di un mercato così Grande.

    I've never played any of the prior SHADOW WARRIOR games. I don't share the criticism leveled towards this game from the franchise veterans. It was a fun arena shooter, similar to DOOM.     It has been a while since the last time I couldn't finish a game. I didn't play any SW games before and I'm not familiar with this genre but I see that the game is raw.
    It's repetitive.
    The finishers are not satisfying. Most of the time, you can spam the grenade launcher and beat the chapter. Humour is meh. If you are into the genre, you may play it via Psn Plus but don't even think    It has been a while since the last time I couldn't finish a game.     Shadow Warrior 3 has good combat, but its content is too short to recommend it at launch. It is certainly a title to keep on the radar if you are a fan of this type of FPS.
