games(TM)Sep 8, 2017Tight stealthing and funky style. Not to be missed. [Issue#191, p.80]
-
Aug 2, 2017Serial Cleaner is one hell of a game. It captures the style and appeal of the seventies greatly, layering it with a surreal 'job' to do, and a solid sense of humour.
-
Jul 31, 2017Serial Cleaner has proven to be a very well-managed title under multiple profiles.
-
Jul 24, 2017In the end, Serial Cleaner is a fun stealth experience. The focus on non-violence is refreshing, and while there are some bits that don't play out so well, the entire experience is fun enough that you'll be motivated to retry it almost immediately. The '70s presentation is inspired, but the bonus levels and challenges give the game some replay value. Serial Cleaner is certainly worth checking out.
-
Jul 24, 2017Serial Cleaner is a fun top down experience that will give you a good fun few hours, collecting all the collectibles and completing all the bonus levels. For anyone that was a fan of Hotline Miami but would have preferred it to be a stealth game this title is for you.
-
Jul 12, 2017Serial Cleaner sports a neat concept, a lot of challenge and a unique visual style. If you can handle sluggish controls and the lack of a proper story, Serial Cleaner will keep you busy for a while.
-
Jul 11, 2017When it comes to pleasant surprises, Serial Cleaner ranks among my favorite indie releases of 2017. The simple to grasp mechanics yet surprisingly deep execution managed to take a genre that I traditionally loathe, and somehow deliver an immensely gratifying experience.
-
Jul 11, 2017Serial Cleaner brings some strong design and '70s style to the unpleasant business of cleaning up murder scenes. The game gives you all the information you need to successfully sneak your way through the many levels and if you feel like making things more difficult you can tackle the challenges. Stealth fans should check it out.
-
Jul 11, 2017Cleaning up someone else’s mess has never been this much fun, and that’s saying something when said mess includes pieces of evidence, corpses and more than a little bit of blood spatter. Serial Cleaner is easy to recommend as a quirky and fun stealth ’em up with a somewhat macabre sense of humour.
-
Jul 14, 2017Serial Cleaner's highlights are: a terrific 70's atmosphere, an original theme, cool graphics and music. However, when you take a closer look, it turns out to be not original enough - it's simply a well made game with some issues that don't spoil all the fun. Fans of not-so-obvious stealth games should be pleased.
-
Jul 13, 2017Serial Cleaner is a stealth game with nostalgic influences. A very well polished game that has a powerful beginning but a repetitive second half.
-
Jul 13, 2017Serial Cleaner is different, original and risky, but it is also quite good. A great option if you're looking for something to play between more traditional games.
-
Jul 11, 2017With its thirty scenarios (twenty in the main story and ten films inspired by the cinema to be unlocked), the Serial Cleaner demonstrates how iFun4All knows how to build gaming experiences with solid gameplay as a foundation. Additionally, the outline of the '70s is to create an interesting contextualization from the historical point of view, but above all as far as the stylistic one is concerned. Maybe they could have enriched everything with a bigger stage, with a checkpoint, or a little less chaotic gameplay, which at present can not be ruled perfectly by imprecise controls.
-
Jul 11, 2017Serial Cleaner is not a game that pretends to revolutionize a genre as it is the one of exploration and infiltration. In fact, he drinks a lot from classic sources. A very successful retro aesthetic that fits perfectly into a bulletproof gameplay. Passing a vacuum cleaner was never so much fun.
-
Sep 15, 2017Serial Cleaner is an enjoyable and engaging stealth game with a cool art style.
-
Jul 17, 2017Serial Cleaner is engaging (and laughably gory) stealth game with an awesome atmosphere, easy to pick up and play. Too bad it lacks variety to feel great from start to finish.
-
Jul 11, 2017A simple, economical throwback to the golden age of stealth games, with fun presentation but a notable lack of depth and variety.
-
Jul 11, 2017With its 70s setting and great soundtrack, Serial Cleaner is a unique blend of styles that might not be full of variety but it does offer a decent amount of fun.
-
Jul 11, 2017Serial Cleaner is a fun little game which offers something that’s both similar to other indie titles on the market and thematically unique for the stealth genre. Its difficulty and slight release content are offset by a number of options, a great premise, and some uniquely engaging gameplay.
-
Jul 12, 2017Somewhat lacking the addictive qualities of some of the better games in the genre, Serial Cleaner still provides plenty of challenge and a decent amount of content for fans of stealth puzzlers.
-
Jul 14, 2017A fun take on both stealth games and genre films, Serial Cleaner will be way more enjoyable if it can fix a bad lighting bug that made it almost unplayable.
-
Jul 14, 2017Charming at first, but you’ll discover all too soon that the stealth-action is too basic, while the steep difficulty level demands trial & error and the visuals are not cool, but sterile.

Jul 17, 2017I get it. I'm not good at this. But when a game's first stages are so fiddly—its on-ramping of the player, if you will, is so steep—it becomes incredibly off-putting to anyone without the time to properly tackle it.
