Oct 8, 2020If you have only 30 minutes for gaming, but still want to feel that wonderful sense of exhaustion and eye strain, this is the right game for you. Jokes aside, Sayonara Wild Hearts is dynamic, short, stylish, flashy and definitely not for everyone. It is an experience, more than an actual game, hence surely not for everyone. But if you want to test your ocular gaming stamina, do give it a try.

Playstation Official Magazine UKOct 22, 2019Despite the frantic nature of the game suggesting pushing you forward is its main motivation, some sections do have a death mechanic that sets you back to a checkpoint. It’s a fun ride full of spectacle, but messy to the point where you can struggle to connect, never really committing to pursuing either experience or gameplay. [Issue@168, p86]

Sep 26, 2019One of the more interesting ideas the game posits is actually how it approaches trophies. A collection of “zodiac riddles” give you vague clues about what to do, and are usually weird things you would not do while playing regularly. This is a master stroke as it vastly increases the replayability of the title, which would top out at barely an hour without it. Despite its short length, this is still very much a trip worth taking.
