    First game as an adult to remind me of mario 64. Pretty fun, but the control mechanics could use a few tweaks, seems like sackboy does what he wants on occasion, not what I want. Kinda sucks that they made this multiplayer and make it feel necessary to complete the game. After playing for a while, I ran into bugs that made a level impossible to complete. resetting fixed this but thisFirst game as an adult to remind me of mario 64.     A good 3D platformer. Sackboy is extremely expressive and charming. The levels are a bit bare bones but all enjoyable. The music themed levels are especially enjoyable.

    It seems that after Media Molecule, no game in the series has managed to replicate how excellent the first two installments were, and in my opinion, this game is no exception. Graphically it could be the best of the series, at least I loved it, but everything else is simply not so well done for me. In addition to lacking many modes and iconic features of the previous installments, or worsening the existing ones, the platform now turned from 2d to isometric view, and I have already written many reviews of why i dont like platform games with isometric view. The perspective can cause you to miss a lot of jumps, and the combat can become somewhat awkward. Not to mention that the game does not offer anything innovative for the genre, becoming very repetitive and generic, or at least I felt that after the first world. Previous games in the series were not only creative in the art style, but also in the gameplay, and they combined both elements in a excellent way. And continuing with the gameplay, also the difficulty of the game can be very frustrating, especially when it comes to going 100%. Honestly all of the flaws in this game remind me a lot of what happend with Crash Bandicoot 4 Its About Time.
    The multiplayer is also a big downgrade compared to the previous games, and now it only serves to play the campaign mode cooperatively, but due to the lack of iconic things such as the creative mode, decoration, etc., just doesnt add much replay value to the multiplayer. The story also feels that to a certain extent it was somewhat wasted, and although previous games in the series did not stand out much in this section, I have to say that here it feels even more generic and without many characters that have charm, except for the main villain Vex , but he doesn't appear in many scenes so ...
    What I could highlight are some levels of the game that are not bad at all.
    Sumo Digital is a bad studio, it is not as good as Media Molecule.    … Expand

    It's fun for a while but it gets boring after a few hours, too easy and samey, it's chilled out though

    Sackboy: A Big Adventure doesn't reinvent anything but it does well what a 3D platformer can do well. Unfortunately, the solo experience doesn't have the same excitement as playing it in co-op. In fact, playing single player means missing the multiplayer levels. If you have someone to share it with, you are going to find an adventure that makes you smile at all times, offering lots of fun. A challenge for adults and children.

    Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a blast to play, no matter where you play it. Its PS4 shortcomings only lie with with graphic fidelity and loading times. Apart from that, Sackboy is back and better than ever on all fronts and generations.

    Sackboy is back with a very colorful and happy vengeance. While the Create option has been dropped, Sackboy has gained a third dimension. On his quest to stop the evil Vex, Sackboy travels through almost lifelike crafted worlds full of perils. While Sackboy himself hasn't learned many new tricks, his enemies and the environment have, resulting in a diverse journey that is a treat to undertake.
