A multiplayer game that deserves more attention. With well designed maps great gameplay and lots of weapons and abilities for the heroes, this is one of the most enjoyable games of the genre we've tried this year. Too bad the community is so small that it's getting too hard to find a game.

Overall, Rocket Arena is a solid multiplayer title that could be the beginning of an interesting new IP. It may seem bleak for this little shooter at the moment, but I’d urge those looking for a fresh take on competitive games to check it out.

Rocket Arena is a fun game that offers a lot of features that players ask for all of the time in other games. You’ll have to ask yourself if you like this style of gameplay and the art style, but the game is well designed and a blast to play. If it goes free to play eventually, I think it can have sustained success.

Rocket Arena is a well thought-out and executed game that suffered from its poorly advertised launch by EA but manages to stand out for its own proposal. It's a refreshing and funny game that gives us the necessary tools for us to unfold all our imagination.

Rocket Arena is an admirably light-hearted shooter that soars when it comes to characters. The roster is full of versatile playstyles and memorable personalities that will draw you in, and the addicting gameplay could keep you there if you can get behind the floaty but satisfying combat. While the lack of content and underwhelming multiplayer suite doesn’t fully justify it not being free-to-play at the moment, things will only get better with time, and, fundamentally, Rocket Arena’s launch is worth the force of its trajectory.

Rocket Arena is an interesting rocket-based twist on the team-based shooter genre. With unique rockets and abilities, each character plays differently and entices you to try them out. Sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by enemy attacks, especially with the slow movement speed, but that doesn't drag it down much.

The 3 versus 3 formula goes well with the size of the maps and with the modalities present at the launch, as well as the variety of heroes and artifacts outlines a fairly thorough game system. However, the Final Strike Games title suffers from an excessively anonymous style, which is unlikely to create a memorable imagination and to establish itself in the imagination of the players.

Rocket Arena might have some explosive potential as a casual 3v3 competitive shooter but the bright and colorful aesthetics and gameplay where no one dies and everyone's a winner have a major clash with the game's reliance on both twitch and precision aiming.

An enjoyable hero shooter, especially with a couple of friends in your party. Not every mode is successful, though... and whether Rocket Arena will stand the test of time remains to be seen.

Rocket Arena is a stripped-down online multiplayer 3v3 shooter. While there are only a few game modes at launch, they are fun – and EA says there are more on the way. A nice variety of characters keeps the action fresh, and the friendly atmosphere keeps the proceedings fairly cheerful. A great starter shooter for younger kids, but skilled players will also enjoy Rocket Arena quite a bit.

Rocket Arena can be quite enjoyable at the beginning, but its derivative gameplay and rather banal game modes cannot keep the player engaged for a long time at the current state of the game.

Rocket Arena is a nice, fun game, but the lack of content and balancing issues it has, really bring it just short of seeing its full potential utilized.

As I played Rocket Arena, my enthusiasm for its gameplay drained while the sterile nature of it all gradually reared its ugly head. There's certainly some fun to be had but you likely won't enjoy it for as long as its genre competitors.

By stuffing the title with content to justify its unattractive business model, Final Strike Games loses sight of what makes its game salt. It’s nice to chain clashes in Deathmatch, but the rest of the content goes astray and transforms the experience in chaos that is often unreadable and sometimes frustrating. Too bad, because its concept and its mixture of influences hit the target when the stars align.

Technically solid 3-vs-3-shooter aimed at a younger audience. Unfortunately there are no unique features found anywhere, be it weapons, abilities or arenas.

Rocket Arena shows that there’s more to multiplayer shooters than just military sims and battle royale games. Unfortunately, the unappealing progression rewards and lack of engaging content limit its potential.

Despite diverse heroes and game modes Rocket Arena is somewhat shallow and predictable. The simple controls and familiar visuals make for a accessible game, but result in underdeveloped gameplay. Altogether it would be a nice addition to your free-to-play collection, but unfortunately Rocket Arena is not free.

Overall, Rocket Arena is a very young battle arena shooter. It is off to a decent start, though the pain points of the game are blatantly obvious. Its intentions are to capture that Fortnite crowd with its personality but definitely falls short with its delivery in certain gameplay areas. There is hope for this game and I can see it succeeding with updates and expansions, but right now it’s a tough sell when compared to its competition.

Rocket Arena is an enjoyable up-tempo experience with genuinely fun traversal abilities to keep you on your toes and moving to the high and lows of the arena. It's largely undefined characters and lack of meaningful customization options, however, hold it back from being truly memorable. It's a fun arena shooter in the moment, but it'll fade quickly from memory after you've walked away.

Rocket Arena is a hero shooter that tries to make a mark, but doesn’t do nearly enough to help itself stand out.

Despite the handful of enjoyable hours Rocket Arena has to offer, it's not an investment worth considering. With microtransactions already up and operational alongside a premium price tag, it’s likely to find itself without a player base before too long. Rocket jumping can only take it so far.

Rocket Arena é ruim, repetitivo, chato, cheio de DLC e microtransação com menos de um mês de lançamento, e pior de tudo não apresenta inovação. Não recomendo essa porcaria e espero que a EA deixe de existir em breve. Full Review »

Terrible game with terrible mechanics, generic character and awful gameplay. EA standard as usual.
