Aug 15, 2016This game is basically the capital variant of Risk. It is much better than the previous Ubisoft Risk. Games move a lot faster than previous Risk because of the rules and faster AI animations.

May 9, 2020Very fun concept! I appreciated all the nuances that were added as it freshens up the game considerably. However, while playing with friends, we rarely make it through an entire game without it freezing or disconnecting someone 30 minutes into the action. It's very frustrating.

Feb 19, 2023This game is just not fun, the dice rolls are pre-determined, annoying narrator, you are heavily targeted by the AI, the faction abilities are overpowered, and the factions aren’t that interesting. It is a faithful adaptation though.

Aug 23, 2016Unsurprisingly, the core gameplay and the option to play locally with friends are what hold strong, perhaps indicating that no matter what technological advances come our way, the tried-and-tested strategic Risk experience will always be relevant.

Aug 18, 2016The game is good. The rules and play style vary slightly from the board game which makes the game interesting. The campaign is tricky at some points although it gets repetitive when you play too long.

Aug 10, 2016RISK: Urban Assault adapts the board game to the consoles so that we can enjoy it playing it with friends. However, if you play alone, you will find that the AI is terrible in this game.
