Some really freaky stuff with mannequins. Feels like it could've been good as a fully fleshed out game, but comes off a bit lacking here.
I don't care about Mercenaries so no comment there.
The real star for me is replaying a terrific game in third person as God intended. To me, that's worth it and the other two components are just bonus. I see how some people are upset with the price, but to me. It's worth it.

"Shadows of Rose" includes three difficulty levels and several in-game challenges. Sadly, only Chris Redfield is available at the start of "Mercenaries". The two new maps, Lady D and Heisenberg have to be unlocked. Third-person makes "Village" feel even more like "Resident Evil 4". Strangely, you never see Ethan's face. Overall, I would rate this with an 8 out of 10. Expand

About the Shadow of Rose campaign, hope you like one-hit kills, because that's what you are getting!
It also feels really cheap, it only uses assets from the main game (released 18 months ago), to the point it literally use the same ending cutscene...and the story, is basically Resident Evil meets Kingdom Hearts, it feels completely out of place in this franchise, more than RE6 ever did.
The sequence with the mannequins is decent, but last just bare minutes...
About the rest of the new content, the main campaign wasnt designed to be played in third person, and its noticiable, and the three new additions to The Mercenaries...meh.

    Not worth $20 bucks.
