    paguei 100 reais e desejo que o infeliz que cortou todo o conteudo do original: a pistola customizada, o lança minas, a bazuca de 4 tiros, o revolver, a escopeta de alavanca, a minhocona, o cemiterio, a torre do relogio, um mapa maior e semi mundo aberto, nemesis bípede, voltar em áreas anteriores pra    comprei esse jogo e o resident evil 2 remake em um pacote que tava com 90% de desconto.

Nemesis fraco, horrível, cortaram inúmeros cenários clássicos, inimigos e chefes além da história, jogo extremamente curto, vc zera em 5h30. Não existe armas novas, trajes novos, não respeitaram a obra original e não trouxeram novidades interessantes. A única coisa que se salva é o gráfico e a jogabilidade e o visual dos personagens, exceto do nemesis.… Expand

There are several factors in the game that feel rougher than in the previous remake (Resident Evil 2), among those aspects is the inventory sistem that feels a less worse than Resident Evil 2, another task is the main character's (Carlos Oliveira and Jill Valentine)behavior in some parts of the game making jokes like Jill is a heart cold Girl. To finish my review it is impossible not to talk about the final fight with Nemesis that was a downgrade with the gameplay mechanics , the truth is that they could not complete it as much as they wanted due to the lack of time to publish the game. With all this said, I say goodbye.(sorry if I had some gramatical mistakes, Im from Venezuela)… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's NOT entirely bad, but it IS the WORST of the RE Remake Franchise series. With that being said, I'll break it down in 2. The Good and the Bad.
    The Bad: The New design of the Nemesis is Terrible, doesn't even come close to the original. Every SINGLE time, that you fight the Nemesis, it is scripted (yes you DID fight the Nemesis in the original, in scripted parts. But in MANY occasions it was RANDOM), the Deletion of the WHOLE Clocktower Area was a TERRIBLE decision. The Good: The music is VERY reminiscent of 80s Horror/sci-fi, as a Gen-X Gamer I can testify for this. The new design of Carlos was a DEFINITE improvement and last the overall Graphics was Fantastic and that's what pretty much sugar coated the entire game. But again this is the WEAKEST of the ENTIRE RE Remake Franchise installments.    … Expand

    Nemesis is so ridiculously powerful. He has a powerful punch, runs fast and jumps high. It has almost no weaknesses.

    This game could have been a masterpiece but it is an insult to its original 1999 counterpart. It was for me the biggest disappointment of all 2020 I would have sincerely preferred that it never came out ... After a memorable Resident Evil 2 Remake I am not I would never have expected from Capcom such a miserable and shameful treatment for the third chapter of the saga as my favorite oneThis game could have been a masterpiece but it is an insult to its original 1999 counterpart.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Picked this game up recently for like 10 bucks. It's been out for more than a month and there are several game-breaking bugs still in it. I had to replay all of the nemesis boss fights twice because the cutscenes failed to trigger as well as the hospital defense scenario. Explosive weapons didn't start working until after the first time I died. It's a very short game. Can be completed in 2 hours and most of the puzzle sequences were removed. Zero replay ability.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. if you’ve played the original resident evil 3 you can tell from the start of this remake that it is a blatant cash grab after how well the resident evil 2 remake did for capcom. they’ve cut so much content from the original game and made the game a linear walking/cutscene simulator. nemesis is completely downgraded and will only show up when it is a scripted event, whereas in the original he was RNG based which made him unpredictable and scarier. you can take nemesis down with a single grenade in the starting modes but in the original you would use up all of your ammo to take him down. they have ruined jill’s character turning her from a sweet but badass hero to a total **** who won’t accept help from anybody. her outfit is bleak, just a tank top and jeans, same treatment they did for claire in the re2make, and if you want her original outfit then you have to spend more of your money on it. the game is extremely short due to capcom being too lazy to add in most areas and boss fights from the original. i’m convinced jill and carlos aren’t scared in the slightest by nemesis, you’ve only seen him for about half an hour and they’ve already sworn at him, took him down easily and walked away like he was a little inconvenience. all exploration is gone and is instead replaced by holding up on the controller for scripted events and watching cutscenes. the puzzles are made for babies which isn’t surprising as games now have a tendency of holding your hand and acting like you have a mental age of 5 years old. not a good stand alone game or a good remake.… Expand

They were so proud and happy with the result, but since this game sucks and fails as a remake in every way possible, that video is ironic at best and very unprofressional from them at worst.

    Second of all: cut content. The original 700Mb PS1 game beats this mess every day of the week, from here to eternity. Locations, bosses, files, mini-games, and cool little details such as Dario Rosso's diary. Folks, Raccoon City is now a Donut Store, a Police Station, some roofs, a room full of boxes, an Electric Company and a Cable Car plant. Only in Pokémon games you could find "cities" with so few houses.

    Third of all: No atmosphere, just scripted stuff that only a middle-schooler could write.

    Jill is just playing the tomboy role, and she seems to be indestructible like the characters of an action movie. What a waste of time waiting for this "remake" to be done for almost 10 years.
    Who tells this is a good game clearly hasn't played the original. This franchise is done.    … Expand

    Not as good as the RE2make. Also, why the **** is is so easy, when jumping through hoops to restart after you die, to accidentally agree to switch to 'assisted' mode?! What a waste of the 4 hours of game this was... Why, the **** would I want to change to assisted mode after one death?

    dont buy. you will feel your time is being wasted. this game is a chore. The final boss fight is an embarrassing joke. I can't believe someone okay'ed that to be released in such a state. Half the time, you have no control over what the avatar does in game. It's a mess...

And even is short as **** you cant even enjoy it....

    Underwhelming and unambitious. instead of remaking and expanding the original, they took the best parts of the original game like puzzles, game choices, classic locations etc. The game's antagonist was an upgraded version of RE2 remake's Mr. X but it feels like the nemesis is more Mr. X from the original resident evil 2; He mostly always appears in scripted parts of the game rather thanUnderwhelming and unambitious. instead of remaking and expanding the original, they took the best parts of the original game like puzzles, game choices, classic locations etc. The game's antagonist was an upgraded version of RE2 remake's Mr. X but it feels like the nemesis is more Mr. X from the original resident evil 2; He mostly always appears in scripted parts of the game rather than actually being stalked around the city like remake Mr. X and OG Nemesis. Is the game's gore censored? I can't shoot limbs off of zombies. The game is also too linear, there's almost no freedom to explore like the re2 remake and the original games. The QTE feels so forced and out of place and ruined the final boss. Nemesis NEVER shows up without a cutscene or some kind of forced quick-time event sequence. This wasn't what I was expecting. One of the Worst parts of the Nemesis character is the final encounter...u don't lure the antagonist in front of a giant gun...you just press a button and the game's cutscene destroys it for good. You can even take him out with a grenade!!!! He's that easy. The whole was easy.
    The second worst thing is the pacing...the game is JUST TOO SHORT. It's shorter than the original.
    Not entirely bad, it's rich in graphics, environment and tone, game mechanics and new enemies and enjoyable action game. Unfortunately, this is mostly a recycled game not worth $60, I enjoyed Resident Evil 5 more than this.
    Now the very that gives me flashbacks of Dante from 2013's Devil May Cry: Jill Valentine. Jill had a great voice actor but was boring as hell in this game, she went from cute but resourceful go-getter who has deep empathy for others but will kick your ass if she has to a one-dimensional hard-ass who swears like a sailor and takes no crap. She has a couple of moments of levity, especially with Carlos which is nice but she's just tough and stoic, generally boring and unsympathetic telling Nemesis to suck it. I find most of her badassery feels forced and cringe. I thought RE5 Jill was bad but this is even worse, she is now an all-powerful badass who can carry a large rail gun despite being in a smaller thin buddy. I hope the Jill picking up the railgun thing becomes a meme like Chris punching that boulder in RE5.
    All in all, I want my $60 bucks back.    … Expand

    This game is complete crap. You play at medium difficulty setting, as if playing at high difficulty level. The developers of the game are clearly deprived of logic, otherwise the storyline would have been more thoughtful. I do not recommend buying the game.

They took the word Remake and didn't consult what would be the meaning of it, a shame what they did, they ruined a game that I love so much. managed to leave the game less than the classic Resident Evil 3 of the 90's, a shame. I carry a deep regret just imagining what good this game could have been, but this company managed to let me down, expected an expanded and totally revamped story like Resident Evil 1 Remake, and paid my money for a shallow story, missing a lot of scenarios and totally lazy.     They removed all puzzles, replaced them by yellow colored locks and chains. Alot of content is missing, clocktower, park, multiple endings, mercenary mode. Nemesis is just a walking trashbag. Hes is boring as he gets, 1 granade finnishes him off...Atleast in the orignal game he was    Horrible.... Why Capcom why.... I was awaiting this game, hoped it would be good but no....

    Nemesis is just a walking trashbag. Hes is boring as he gets, 1 granade finnishes him off...Atleast in the orignal game he was something to be feared after he killed off Brad, would you fight the monster or run, not knowing when he may apear next?... Instead Jill trashes him like some ordinary zombie.

    Why does Nemesis need weapons to kill Jill? He can just grab her and crush her head.... but no, that won't happen, lets change it into boring action fights instead. Nemesis can smash a concrete wall with ease, but a door stops him, what the hell?

    Jill acts like a feminist, not needing help of any man. Her original outfit is replaced by a boring casual outfit, her original outfit atleast looked interesting and unique.

    Carlos hair looks stupid.... why change it....

    A missed opportunity to make the game as good as the RE2 remake, alot of dissapointed fans, shame Capcom, Shame....

    Buy on sale if your bored out of your mind and got nothing else to play...    … Expand

    I launched the game with very high expectations. Sadly, the final result was mere disappointment. The first couple of hours of game play are very good, and I truly enjoyed them. However, once you have acquired a couple of key items and weapons the difficulty level drops exponentially, and, by the end of the game, there is no challenge whatsoever. Not to mention the recycled scenarios fromI launched the game with very high expectations. Sadly, the final result was mere disappointment. The first couple of hours of game play are very good, and I truly enjoyed them. However, once you have acquired a couple of key items and weapons the difficulty level drops exponentially, and, by the end of the game, there is no challenge whatsoever. Not to mention the recycled scenarios from the previous entry and the unfortunate exclusion of major and iconic areas from the original game.… Expand

What the players were teased with was open worlded exploration of Raccoon City as you'd be relentlessly chased by a Mr. X-like enemy. What ended up happening is that you're constantly being pushed in the direction you're supposed to go in an extremely streamlined version of the city (about 50% of the original locations are missing) and the player is incessantly bombarded by scripted action sequences that require barely any input from them to get through besides pressing "Up." A massive disappointment and a travesty considering the price Capcom is charging for what essentially feels like a DLC.… Expand

I can't believe that someone has so much to do with the city and the game itself, expand the universe and improve 99' version, wich is still better than this rushed remake. Making it full price, cutting its content makes me wonder what kind of disappointment Capcom has to bring after this sad game.

That's roughly twice the price of a standard DLC pack which is essentially what it is. At least 50% of the content is recycled, even the animation for the vaccine machine! If I had paid £60 I'd be asking for a refund. That's why my review score is so low. Redeeming factors are Jill, Jill's ass during prone scenes, Jill cutscenes, Jill and Jill. Nemesis went from awesome to ridiculousness in less than an hour. If he can survive being actually disintegrated in acid he better be coming back in a later game after being nuked. Also considering the fact it was an air detonated nuke and he was underground in a lab that's just poor writing. I actually found 1and 2 believable. I can't excuse 3, maybe 22 years ago? Now now, and certainly not for £60. I have to rate this at it's RRP not what I paid. 4/10.… Expand

This game lost all of the exploration factor that added dynamism to the gameplay of the game, much of the game are cutscenes that are no longer exciting after a first or second gameplay, classic enemies have been removed, striking and interesting stretches have been removed from the game as well as Clock Tower and the cemetery. Raccoon Uptown and Downtown have been drastically reduced to a linear route of gameplay that have taken a good time exploring the city. The gameplay and graphics of the game are great but not enough to make up for the plot changes.

Lets begin by saying if you expect the game kind of changes RE2R made you RE2 you're going to have a bad time. This time they didn't just remove a few enemies and shorten levels. They removed over half the game content such as the clock tower, water treatment plant, and the park. What they did keep was critically reduced to either a few city blocks like down nostalgia corner, or a dynamic cinematic like uptown or the final boss nemesis. They also replaced Jills nostalgic return to RPD with a slapped together speed run of a few rooms with Carlos. Reduced the umbrella factory to a fee few seconds of nest re skined. Gave you a wolf boss fight re skinned with nemesis hound not just once but twice as the only only other boss fight of the game. And for some reason added a power station section that focuses on impregnating Jill via graphic oral technical rape... Legitimate not a joke. A side from this you get to pay full price for a half rendered side demo made from scrap environments left over from RE2R jammed together to allow your avatar to fumble through. With out any side missions or B play through to add replay value this extended cutscene will disappoint you for $1 every minute of actual game play if you buy it on sale.… Expand

Ok, just finished playing RE3 remake, and i honestly feel deflated after playing this, and makes me kinda nervous for the future of re series, as if its going back down the route of re 5 and 6, catering to more new fans instead of pleasing the old fans, and bringing in the new without comprimising on content. ***** SPOILERS BEWARE*****
    1 - Severe lagging on characters running and movements, and bad or slow animations
    2 - most severely controversial one - cut content and areas, especially the RPD as it was a bit part of the original game from re2 and 3, was there for like less than 2 mins, very dissapointed to say the least, and seing marvin for like less than 1 minute, no interaction with anyone else at the rpd
    3 - no option to encounter or run away from nemesis
    4 - in some parts dialouge or character interaction can be cringy or lackluster or simply doesnt make sense - mainly later part of game with Nicolai
    5 - same enemy types used over and over in all areas of game, as well as areas, with blatant cut and paste to this game with worse results
    6 - no option for dlc for other modes - ie - mercenaries or other stand alone options for other characters like carlos or nikola as we were promised a more expanded gameplay, but it clearly wasnt
    7 - only 1 ending, was pretty poor, should have option for more than one, as never found out what happened with nicolai, as thought that would have been the more interesting ending
    8 - after you complete the main game, they want you to buy in store with god awful microtransactions that no one asked for
    If you like and agree, do us a favour post it to Capcom

    Resident evil 3: Nemesis was the first RE game I ever played growing up. I rented it from a local game store and that was when I found my passion for horror games/zombies/Resident Evil. I beat the original RE3 about 5 times before returning it to the game store. I later bought and played Resident evil 2 from the original PlayStation, an absolute masterpiece. Finally I made my wayResident evil 3: Nemesis was the first RE game I ever played growing up. I rented it from a local game store and that was when I found my passion for horror games/zombies/Resident Evil. I beat the original RE3 about 5 times before returning it to the game store. I later bought and played Resident evil 2 from the original PlayStation, an absolute masterpiece. Finally I made my way backwards to Resident Evil, the first of the series. Absolutely loved it. Now, jump forward to the GameCube era. Resident evil 1 remake, I was beyond excited to play it. I bought it and immediately took it home and played it into the wee hours of the morning. I was in love with this series and the remake only heightened my love and appreciation for it. Sure, it had its flops (in my opinion) survivor wasn't the greatest, some of the rail shooters are meh. However, I've enjoyed almost every numbered entry in the series (though it wasn't numbered, I also loved Outbreak).

    Fast forward again to the announcement that Resident Evil 2 was getting a full remake from the ground up. I was over the moon excited. The small trailer that released a long while after that showing us the mouse ( a little nod to something for fans of the series) running about in a small room and a zombie innocently gnawing on a man's neck. I couldn't believe how much love went into that small trailer and the remake of RE2 overall. They expanded on many small things, made small bit meaningful changes to the areas and gameplay. However, it was largely the same game, just made with a more modern audience in mind.

    Naturally I assumed and hoped we would hear about a Resident Evil 3 remake, much to my non surprise, we got the announcement in late 2019 and I was wildly excited. It was the first game I ever played in the Resident Evil series and is still to this day my favorite Resident Evil game.

    When I finally got my hands on the Resident Evil 3 remake, I was ecstatic, I couldn't believe the game that started if all for me was now sitting in my PlayStation 4 installing. I eagerly waited for the game to be ready to play. Finally, I saw the install complete popup and I have never smashed a button so fast to open the game. What followed that was roughly 6.5 hours of me trying to convince myself that the remake did what it did to appeal to a modern audience and the massive content cuts were probably for story reasons. I beat the remake of RE3, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I felt a bit hollow inside.

    I know, it sounds sad that a game can have such a negative affect on my feelings, but it's the game in the series that sparked a lifelong passion for the genre. I felt like I had seen nothing of Raccoon city, not like you'd seen it on the original. Nemesis felt rushed, he felt like more of a small annoyance than a looming threat at key moments. I didn't like his makeover, the bent nose look just made me laugh at him, his first transformation happens FAR too early in the game (in my opinion), they underutilized his more humanoid appearance, they removed any trace of the tendrils that would sprout from his body once you injured him enough and the parasite started to show itself more, they removed the clocktower, they removed so many Raccoon city streets areas, the Brad Vickers scene was so short I barely had time to give a **** because I figured I'd see him later before he eats a Nemesis tentacle, the Nest 2 replacing the dead facility for the final location just seemed so boring to me, I was sad they removed multiple choice moments that did serve to prolong the story and make me replay the game multiple times just to see how certain scenarios played out, drain Deimos in the remake are a horrible misfire and serve as nothing more than a one time annoyance. The list of grievances I have with the game is extensive and I am actually so sad with how poorly handled this remake was.

    YES these are just my thoughts so please don't get angry if you personally liked the remake. It had some good qualities, however, they just didn't make up for enough when it comes down to it. It pains me to give this game such a low rating, but I think Capcom should have given this game a lot more love and respect to the original content.    … Expand

    Mas no fim é completamente decepcionante, linear, extremamente clichê e sem nenhum pingo de cuidado que re2 teve.
    Parece simplesmente que aproveitaram o sucesso deste para ganhar dinheiro facil, coisa que conseguiram, pelo menos comigo que pela primeira vez comprou um jogo na pré-venda. :(

    It's not horrible, but basically a very short DLC from the Resident Evil 2 remake. If it was $20 that would be about the right price for a good rating. Resident Evil 2 had several mini stories that were separate from the main story that you could play. This game is basically a longer one of those stories.

    This game didnt feel like a remake. More like a rushed reboot. This game is ok on a modern console, great graphics, gameplay and feels like a resi game. But reason why i gave it a 2 was because alot of the content was removed. The areas like the clock tower, the boss fights, the extra modes and endings that were in the original all removed. But reason why i gave it a 2 was because alot of the content was removed. The areas like the clock tower, the boss fights, the extra modes and endings that were in the original all removed.     Mucho contenido sin utilizar, por ejemplo crearon el escenario final con el helipuerto y no es exporable, se quito hasta un 60% del mapa del original. Se quitaron enemigos, no hay mercenarios, no hay DLC.

    the original story was an escape. In horror the protagonist is afraid, so that we the audience may relate, may feel that emotion. Jill was not some super heroin, she was a survivor living in a city. She escaped from her apartment, her place of safety, ran to the police station, the pillar of society, and it was collapsed. she fled further and saw the city hall crumbled. The city's history, built on this mega corp, in the clock tower. the outskirts and how it affects people living outside the city, and the final escape from the docks.

    The characters, while with bad dialogue, had the heart of horror in the classic. The Remake characters had no soul, were shallow, one dimensional, lacklustre, and had no emotional involvement, even the villain mikhail, who was all over the city in the original.

    the game was promised to be massive, instead it was turned into an almost rail shooter for speed runner views, gimmicky bossfights of which there are very few and far between, and a lack of the city of racoon that would flush out a comprehensive story which spoke of a history and characterization in both the horror setting and dystopian setting.

    graphics were great, action was great. literally everything else fell through. And it shows. you can see where they had originall designed more areas to explore. more puzzles to be made. and more locations with newer monsters that fit the settings. All in the train station terminal room. It had several locations that were outright bypassed, a clever little puzzle, and notes all over the board. as the game went on less and less detail, like those notes, were put into the environment, even in the hospital which seemed fully fleshed out.

    it's good for a playthrough, and good for 25$, but as a remake and a triple A title. this was on of the greatest disappointments of my modern gaming life. and TLOU2 just came out.    … Expand

    This was so clearly meant to be a DLC for RE2 but was rushed and packaged with a multiplayer game nobody wanted. Too short, unnecessary cuts from the original, and simply not worth the price.

    The game RE3 Remake took another way really diferent from the Original and this fact unhappily detroied the game for PS4.

    Buy it only when it’s on sale, or if you really like the multiplayer from the Resistance, or else you will be disappointed by the brief single player campaign, no replay value, lack of puzzles, no DLC, etc.

    It has a little bit of nostalgic feeling, but it offers less compared to the original, so do yourself a favour and avoid the disappointment.     Even though it is a very successful game, you will feel a little disappointed. Compared to the remake of the second game, this one often loses its pace and it is impossible to get rid of the impression that there could and should have been more to this game. [Issue#303]

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
