    It took me a while to actually purchased this game because I had so many games I had to finish first. Finally in October 2020, I played it and it was so good. It was so nostalgic. It feels so familiar and I was instantly taken back to all those years when I first played the original. However, the new things added made game so fresh and modern.     Resident Evil 2 is a classic horror game in which the atmosphere is crucial in combination with the puzzles of your environment. The structure of the game really gives you the feeling that you are in control of your discoveries. Everything has been carefully mapped out to discover what it takes to make progress. In addition, it is nice that jumpscares are not used obsessively because itResident Evil 2 is a classic horror game in which the atmosphere is crucial in combination with the puzzles of your environment. The structure of the game really gives you the feeling that you are in control of your discoveries. Everything has been carefully mapped out to discover what it takes to make progress. In addition, it is nice that jumpscares are not used obsessively because it is not necessary to make the gamer feel scared. A weak point of the game's design is the two-part story. Where you expect that you can discover a completely new area with the second main character, this turns out not to be the case. You'll have to go through the same area (you've already completed with your first character) with minor tweaks here and there. At the start of your second character's story, your first play through seems to be totally forgotten. Yet, both story are needed to understand the full picture.

    Nevertheless, this is a game that will leave you on the edge of your seat while you lose track of time!

    I played the version for nintendo 64 way back in the day. I love how they stuck with most of the same elements. This game was definately worth every cent and its one ill replay over and over.

    What can be said ?, the combination of the best zombie game created by Capcom at the time, as it expanded the universe created in that mansion in the arklay mountains with the playability of the beloved Resident Evil 4 that was a revolution at the time together with the incredible graphics of the RE Engine that came from the hand of Resident Evil 7, this resulted in a jewel for bothWhat can be said ?, the combination of the best zombie game created by Capcom at the time, as it expanded the universe created in that mansion in the arklay mountains with the playability of the beloved Resident Evil 4 that was a revolution at the time together with the incredible graphics of the RE Engine that came from the hand of Resident Evil 7, this resulted in a jewel for both players of the 90's and for new players who had not given an opportunity to the original title either by the graphics or For the classic tank type gameplay of 1998, keeping in mind that it is more a reimagining than a remake is appreciated since they gave a touch of realism to different situations that in the original felt forced or simplistic, but it was understandable by the limitations of the consoles at the time, I am very comfortable with the title, super recommended and now that the '' remake '' of 3 has been confirmed I am very glad that I will relive another classic the best way possible.… Expand

    Love all of the character design and stage design...etc. Voice acting is amazing; get me more into the gameplay. Game combat movement is quite simple, but makes sense; that creates fun-the enjoyable value. It reminds me of the 90’s retro game that is unrealistic but much more fun than 2000’s realistic game. I feel not satisfied with story volume(hope just a little more), especially the BLove all of the character design and stage design...etc. Voice acting is amazing; get me more into the gameplay.     Jogabilidade maravilhosa que esse jogo possui, consegue dar vontade de jogá-lo várias vezes, inclusive no intuito de conquistar sua platina na PSN. Na minha opinião foi o melhor remake que já fizeram de um jogo, parabéns a Capcom pelo excelente trabalho!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think it’s by far the best game of the series. Played the first version in 1999. This one has the best with a modern twist. Terrifying, stressful and a survival experience.
    Cons: maybe it will be too difficult for beginners. Also, the aiming with weapons could be improved.    … Expand

    Annette morre em 2 momentos diferente, Leon e Claire mau se encontram e o gameplay é idêntico pra ambos os personagens, mas o jogo é bonito, divertido, aterrorizante, nostálgico, trouxe muitas novidades, aprofundou muito mais na história dos personagens e a dificuldade esta na medida certa! Muito mais pontos positivos que negativos, só não dei nota 9,5 porque não tem como.

    All they need is listen to the fans, and they did. They put the good game mechanics and discard the bad from previous series. Combine all that, they created absolutely masterpiece game.

    Developer make a tons of profit, gamer satisfied, and everyone happy.

    This game is great. An example of how remakes should be done. It changes many things from the original but still feels like Resident Evil 2. Gameplay is good, graphics are amazing, I like the story and characters and it has a lot of replay value with extra modes and different campaigns.

    Muy buen juego en todos los sentidos y superando en todo al clásico.
    Muy buena jugabilidad y puzzles etc...
    La ambientación le que da muy bien a este excelente juego de horror,te hace sentir piel de gallina en casi todos los momentos y te da un nerviosismo el juego va para puntuacion de 1000

    The impossible happened. Lightning struck twice for Resident Evil 1 and 2 remakes. It's a shame it couldn't happen a third time.

    Definitivamente uno de os juegos mas influyentes de la década. Una vuelta a survival horror clásico, pero reinventado, combinando técnicas jugables actuales y un apartado gráfico espectacular (gracias a la tecnología de RE Engine) con la historia que nos apasionó muchos años atrás.

    This is the best game. She's excellent at everything. The remake was a great success. This is my favorite game now. It is a pity that the 3 remake upset, but the second is just a bomb.

    Resident Evil 2 is a wonderful recreation of a believed original that, not only recaptures the glory of that game, but also improves upon it from a visual and gameplay standpoint. All in all, don’t miss out on this one.
