    I have played this game for 100ish hours on PC and some other big number on PS4. So firstly I want to start off with the things I liked about this game. First of all, the graphics are amazing, even if you are playing on low graphics but make sure to have your texture quality on ultra otherwise the game wont look nearly as good. Secondly the story was just amazing and the character development behind every character is just amazing. The story always finds a way to surprise you and that makes it more interesting, but I would say this game isnt for you if you dont like slow paced games, but I would give it a try since I always played really fast paced games but I ended up enjoying RDR2. The game also features a really good open world that I never found my self getting bored from, since the map is big, there are a lot of side missions AND there are a bunch of animals, horses, plants and flowers you can find throughout the world so there is a lot you can do in the open world. If that wasnt enough for you, you can also go out hunting for animals for their meat and pelt or you can chase down other outlaws and bring them in for a reward. This game has an eye for attention to detail as well, which is just really impressive for a video game. For example your facial hair and hair grows throughout the game and you can shave it whenever you want. On top of that the game never lacked any customization IMO either. Although I would say there arent that many clothes you can pick from which was kind of disappointing. But you can customize your gun alot and you also have a good choice of different hair styles to choose from.

    But just like any other game it has its downsides. Firstly while playing through the game I found out that the hair in this game has some bugs. For example whenever I was in darker areas Arthurs hair would change color in an unrealistic way, and when I was in lighter areas his hair would just be too bright. I didnt see many problems in terms of bugs in the game but I did encounter a few while playing the game but nothing game-breaking.

    I would say this game is definitely worth playing and I would give it a 9,5 out of 10 because the horses are just kind of too slow for the big map so if you are going exploring it can get quite boring.    … Expand

    Pros : 1. one of the best story with well written character ( which feels like a real family )
    2. realistic open world with ton of details in which we can interact in serval different ways
    3. graphics are breathtaking
    cons : linear missions ( which are honestly no deal breaker imo )

    I just finished my first playthrough which lasted around 120 hours and I have to say that this is the most beautiful and most detailed game I have ever played. There is animation for everything. There is even a physics engine for your horse's balls shrinking and expanding depending on the weather. Unlike in GTA the cops don't instantly shoot you when you commit a crime. Unlike in GTA the cops don't instantly shoot you when you commit a crime. The world is beautiful and still to this day this is the best looking game I have ever seen. This is the best open world in a video game to date. The NPCs are filled with life and depending how you react to them increases or decreases your honor which changes some of the cutscenes in the story. The combat is very fun and especially the dead eye. The side quests are engaging and the honor system is amazing, I really love how depending on your honor you can get a total of 4 different endings. As a tip for my favorite ending have good honor.

    Now on to the story, this game might have the single greatest story in a video game since Final Fantasy VII. The characters are spectacular and Arthur Morgan is the single greatest protagonist in video game history. The game has an amazing villain and many very emotionally gripping moments including my favorite moment in video game history.

    This game is the best game we have had in the past 24 years and is always flipping back and forth between my 2nd favorite game of all time and my favorite game of all time with the original Final Fantasy VII. This game is the best game of 2018 and the 2010s. Play it.    … Expand

    It was a great Game, I played in the PS4 and the graphics are wonderful. It was the best Game that I have played. The Story was written by a master.

I mean there is many thing I can name in this game that is amazing but this review would be 7 paragraphs long. Anyways this game has hands down the best story in my opinion, it shows the backstory to the first red dead redemption game and it shows it WELL. It can be a serious game at times and a fun game. The story can also be a real tear jerker too especially at the end when a lot of the characters died. This game offers so much freedom in the aspect of taking care of your character/horse etc. now the online is a little different it’s not bad it just could be better, rockstar doesn’t really keep up with the updates like the do for gta 5 it’s a little hard to get money in online, but other than that game is perfect definitely urge you to buy it… Expand

    I must say that this game is not a 10/10. This is a good review but it's not going to be one of the sketchy ones that automatically assumes that this game is the holy grail of all games. This is the best game I've ever played. I log on very often excited to play once again in this very realistic open-world game. There are many pros and cons to this game. I log on very often excited to play once again in this very realistic open-world game. There are many pros and cons to this game. One pro being this game is very lived-in. But one con being too much immersion. Now, don't get me wrong, immersion is great but sometimes it pushes it too far. For instance, if you want to loot dead bodies it's a 3-second animation to loot a single NPC. This is fine until you shoot a bunch of O'driscolls at a camp and decide to loot them. It takes a solid 2 and a half minutes looting a couple of bodies. Another con would be the weapons. The weapons themselves are great, but cleaning them every time you shoot something can get quite annoying. I'm quite sure there are plenty more problems with immersion, but I'm not going to list them all In this little text box. The story overall is great. But if you played the first game you pretty much know what the ending will be. The entirety of Rdr1 was about hunting down old gang members like dutch. You learn that such betrayed the gang in Rdr1 so the first ending was quite predictable. The honor system is probably the worst thing I've ever seen. You can go on a bloody murder spree in Saint-Denis and then lose all of your honor and then greet some folk on the street and regain your horrible reputation. Earning money is hard compared to GTA 5 (Another Rockstar title). So, overall it's a great game with a lot of cons to it. I'd give it a 7.… Expand

    While the fundamental gameplay is a bit clunky, Red Dead Redemption 2 is so unbelievably spectacular in every other area that its few flaws become extremely minor.

    RDR2 captures an essence, of what is rather used liberally now, ‘realism’ with almost every activity you do in-game has its own animation, with cinematography being just right and not over doing any cut scene and action scenes that just compliment the well written story of this masterpiece of a game. Call it carefully crafted sound design that makes you feel that you are in the world of RDR2 or visually astonishing graphics that make you stand in awe between the game to take screenshots, but there is something in this game that makes it one of the most immersive games made till date. The combat may not be the strongest part of this game but its good and versatile enough to make you cross your 40-60hr playtime, head shots in slow motion and basting shot guns towards enemies will keep you interested to the end of the game but it will be the story, graphics, and music that will carry you there with joy, main protagonist Arthur Morgan is lovable and almost relatable to many people as well. If we keep the technical standpoints aside, RDR2 is still probably the most perfect game made in this genre, but there is still more to it than what meets the eye. Writing about any game makes us feel like, “woah this part is cool but this could have been better so that this game could have been suggested to this genre fans” but writing about RDR2 just makes us think that this game could not have been more perfect, it’s a very long game for sure, and the pacing is something that doesn’t cater to everyone but regardless of your preferences Red Dead Redemption 2 is a must try to say the very least.    … Expand

    Exelentes gráficas, exelente historia y desarrollo de personajes, exelente mundo abierto, exelente como combate. Siento que solo le faltó un poco de jugabilidad y mejorar su online. Definitivamente de los mejores juegos de la historia.

    到处都不能跑限制你马呢，马还经常平白消失，死亡重新加载也他妈不是重来，配上不能随时存档就是死妈玩意儿。各种操作麻烦得尼玛批爆，走路想尼玛的醉汉，各种垃圾支线。

    Game is good but the game has glitches and 70 to 75% of the glitches gets patched and the updates are sparce and the updates are somewhat small.

    This game is extremely good. I was shocked how good it looked on my PS4, i was even more shocked how good it looked on my PC. This game is masterpiece in every way possible. I can't wait for GTA VI, because they proved with RDR2 what they can do.

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]

    Amazing not only for Western lovers. No other game has probably offered so many options to express yourself in the open world, and at the same time did not have such an interesting, rough and moving story. A magnificent experience, with a slightly slower start. [Issue#291]
