    Objectively, this game is the peak of video games. A lesson for the studios on how to write a character and a story, how to make missions fun and rich, how to make an open world. This game is just Industry Standart. But I like Witcher 3 a lil' bit more tho.

    For me, it's rare that a game encapsulates why I started playing video games. Escapism. That's the one-word reason that I started playing games. I wanted to be whisked away to a world I can only dream of. In Red Dead Redemption 2, not only do I feel like I am right there in 1899, but I care about every single character.     This is how you create a masterpiece OPEN WORLD game. Not like this elden ring trash. RDR2 actually has depth, meaning, it's immersive and most importantly INNOVATIVE.

    Only Fortnite 2 can beat this Masterpiece! Rockstar's magnum opus! Fantastic Wild West Simulator! Definitely recommend it!

Cool that you can do it, but a waste of time and money, these things are boring to engage with, but you get nerfed if you don't, so you can't just ignore it without being punished. The saddest thing about this game is that there is just too much **** in it. Also everything that isn't the main story is either boring or gets old fast.… Expand

    I don't need to explain this obvious 10/10. Its filled with ups and downs throughout the whole story. The gameplay, graphics and story are 10000000/10. This is the GOAT of video games. *********CRAZY SPOILERS AHEAD PROCEED WITH CAUTION************

    Arthurs death made me cry like a newborn baby.

    Great game and amazing story, amazing characters and top notch graphics. Only issue imo are the controls and physics of the game, too realistic for my taste that may end up breaking the immersion at time. I wouldn’t put it above the first RDR game but i don’t think it trails behind by much.

    So I just finished the main story and I was generally very impressed with the game. The visuals, story, open world, characters, voice acting are all very impressive. The game is slow paced and there are stretches of the game that are boring/repetitive/tedious, but it's trying to tell a story, trying to immerse the player in the world, making the characters progress, and building towardsSo I just finished the main story and I was generally very impressed with the game. Too many people, especially gamers, have the attention span of a 2 year old. It seems people just want run and gun garbage games like Call of Duty that you can blow through in an afternoon!?

    Now, that being said, RDR2 has its issues. The shooting controls/mechanics need some tweaking, the hand to hand combat is frustrating cuz you can barely get a block in, the weapons/items menus could have been better laid out, and controlling your f*cking horse is an issue sometimes.

    RDR2 is a solid effort from Rockstar, it may not be a masterpiece, and it has its issues, but it's a GOTY/system seller that's better than most of garbage that's out there!    … Expand

    I really loved RDR and was very excited to play this game. After about 30-40 hours, I got bored and stopped playing. Everything felt very similar, and a lot of the side quests are just the same things over and over again. Kind of disappointed by the game and wonder why it's so overhyped.

    This is one of the best games I have ever played. Loved the story, the graphics and the general atmosphere of the game. One thing lacking - good combat. It often felt clunky and not very engaging.

    (Начиная от выбора оружия и заканчивая меню помощи, магазинов и вообще всего, что есть в игре) Колесо выбора оружия, все такое же дерьмо как в GTA V.

    В 100% смерти тут происходят потому что игра кривая. Но самое раздражающее, что штрафы за смерть тут далеко не маленькие.

    Online и скрипты. Не было НИ ОДНОЙ миссии с которой бы ее возникло проблем. НИ ОДНОЙ! Я повторю, В КАЖДОЙ МИССИИ БЫЛИ ПРОБЛЕМЫ, В КАЖДОЙ!! Очень плохо прописанные скриптовые сцены в основном сюжете.
    - Пробежать перед поездом? Срабатывает скрипт, камера поворачивает, лошадь поворачивает по камере под поезд.
    - На друга напали? Я бегаю вокруг и ничего не могу сделать, ударит невозможно. Игра рассчитывает что я его убью оружием.
    - Драка в поезде? Тебе отключают инвентарь. Пока я пытался открыть инвентарь и не понимаю какого хрена, он меня порезал.
    - Миссия со снайперской винтовкой?
    Едешь на дележансе и быстрый выстрел не работает, потому что он установлен на винтовку, которую мне дали для миссии и тут же забрали.
    - Надо срочно убегать?
    Все тебе орут что нужно убегать, но игра тебе не даёт сесть на лошадь, потому что ТЫ ОБЯЗАН сначала всех перестрелять.
    - то кто-то из нпс неожиданно умирает
    - то миссия провалена и мне говорят, что телега повреждена. Телега которая стоит в 150 метрах и никак не участвует в перестрелке.

    Это охота? Серьезно? Ещё немного и все эти огромные толпы животных, начнут шить мне платье на бал с принцем.

    Квикивенты? Мы что в 2009 году?

    Тут выйти из меню на F , тут на Esc, а тут на F крафтить, тут все продать. Тут взять на F, тут взять на R.
    Выход должен быть на одну кнопку, действие на другую, все остальное как получится. Так это должно быть.    … Expand

    It's a beautiful, deep living world where a lot happens. I'd give it a 10 but the controls are not good. And the gun battles are just not satisfying. I also must have an old DS controller because Arthur won't draw in duals when I press the R2 button no matter what I try. The game moves too slow at some points when it should move fast and too fast at points when it needs to move slow. GreatIt's a beautiful, deep living world where a lot happens. When you do actually see a bit of action, you’ll find the controls to be as clunky as they always are in Rockstar Games, making shoot-outs far less exciting than they should be.

    I’m sure there’ll be people saying I should have given this game longer, but if the developers aren’t able to grab my interest in four hours of gaming that’s their fault, not mine.    … Expand

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]

    Amazing not only for Western lovers. No other game has probably offered so many options to express yourself in the open world, and at the same time did not have such an interesting, rough and moving story. A magnificent experience, with a slightly slower start. [Issue#291]
