    Despite you don't attract western videogames you should try. Maybe the beggining it could be boring but each time you were playing, you will see the beautiful scenes. It's another world where you can steal, hunt animals or get on with the villagers. There aren't weak points meanwhile the history is impressionant with a big change by the main charaters

    The best PS4 game for me in the same place of God of War, both games of the year.
    The story is unlike anything ive seen in games and made me very emotional, solid gameplay with one of the best and most alive worlds in videogames.

    Extremely addictive open world with so much to do it's almost overwhelming. Absolutely nails the "end of the old west" setting like its predecessor, but with so much more polish. Excellent storytelling and memorable characters.

    Haven't played the first game, but sure as hell I love this one. I have over 400 hours in the game. It is very detailed, slow and enjoyable western shooter game. I love the story, it is very slow as well, but so is the whole world is different. After a week of playing I wanted to get a cowboy hat, and some big expensive leather boots, it is amazing. I can't fully recommend the online part,Haven't played the first game, but sure as hell I love this one. I have over 400 hours in the game. It is very detailed, slow and enjoyable western shooter game. I love the story, it is very slow as well, but so is the whole world is different. After a week of playing I wanted to get a cowboy hat, and some big expensive leather boots, it is amazing. Le scénario est excellent aussi.     An amazing game. The most realistic game I've ever played, its story is one of the best of all time. Red Dead Redemption 2 has one of my favorite protagonists in video games ever. I can't say alot about it. Just try it out.

    technically speaking, this game would be a 9. very solid and majestic in it's visual impact but with too much effort in the search of realism too. but Arthur Morgan is amazing. never thought someone could be more likeable than John Marston, then Arthur comes.

    It is surely on the top 3 games ever released for the story, the gameplay, the level of immersion, the realism, the amount of detail and the relationships between characters. Arthur Morgan and the other gang members feel alive, as if they were real persons. If you did not cry at the end of the game - you have no soul.

    i love this game. like, the gta series is boring for me. in their game series something was missing. and i know what - the realism. i love how rdr 2 gives you 100 times more ways to spend time in game, unlike gta sa or gta v. this slow world is not hurrying to live. so this gives me a really good atmosphere, which was expanded with soundtracks, quests., characters, and most importantly -i love this game. like, the gta series is boring for me. in their game series something was missing. and i know what - the realism. i love how rdr 2 gives you 100 times more ways to spend time in game, unlike gta sa or gta v. this slow world is not hurrying to live. so this gives me a really good atmosphere, which was expanded with soundtracks, quests., characters, and most importantly - story. that story isn't fantastic, like they all is very successful members of gang. so, if u love chill games - you should try it… Expand

    Wonderful story, great combat, and a massive and in depth open world! Red Dead Redemption 2 has cemented itself as a classic and one of the most profound and impressionable games of it's generation. I completed this game 100 percent and it was worth it to collect everything and to beat all the missions. This game is a masterpiece.

The gunplay is basic, but fun with deadeye still being a cool feature like when it was introduced in RDR1.

    MI videojuego favorito por siempre y para siempre, es una obra maestra en mi opinion por su increible manera de combinar todo lo bueno que tiene para dar y al final dar como resultado una perfeccion en cuanto. gameplay, graficos, historia, dialogos, ambientacion, mundo abierto y alrededores y muchos mas apartados por evitar alargar el listado.

    sus personajes estan muy bien escritos y pocos de ellos llegan a ser irrelevantes. se les da su debido protagonismo a cada personaje y eso se agradece bastante. la historia se cuenta muy bien y almenos en mi opinion su nivel se mantiene a la altura de inicio a fin, sus misiones principales tienen algunas de las mejores que eh visto a lo largo de campañas de videojuegos como, Quien diablos es leviticus Cornwall, Una escena pastoral americana, Disputas familiares pasadas y presentes, los bancos el viejo arte americano, Adios paraiso infernal y el juego termina su 1era parte con maravillas como, Mi ultimo hijo, Nuestra mejor version y Red dead redemption, su epilogo baja un poco el nivel pero finaliza de manera sublime con veneno americano, en cuanto la Muerte de Arthur es un punto de quiebre tanto para la historia como para el jugador y las lagrimas hacen aparicion como ya habia sucedido en su antecesor, es curioso como esta historia cuenta con la redencion y la venganza al igual que en Red dead redemption I solo que de una manera mas elaborada, una historia que debe ser vista y vivida por los amantes del videojuego sin duda.

    no quiero hacer comentarios sobre el modo online, solo dire que me parece un buen online y que tiene cosas interesantes que ofrecer pero poco mas que decir.

    Es entretenido tiene una gran variedad de objetivos como desafios, misiones secundarias, coleccionables, easter eggs, trofeos, objetos de personalizacion y un compendio de animales, armas, peces y situaciones aleatorias muy grande, a dia de hoy puedes conseguir el juego a un buen precio de oferta cercano a los 30 dolares en plataformas Playstation 4 y 5.

    One of the best games I've played in my life. The feeling of hitting is excellent, the story is great, the controls are a bit heavy but nice, the horse is nice to ride, I enjoyed every second I played the game, I recommend you to play it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Firstly, I’d like to state that I am giving RDR2 a 9.5. Some of the complaints from other users make me question how well they’ve understood the game/mechanics, others are valid. 1) The story is absolutely beautiful. The tale of a man trying to be better than his past self, while his demons haunt him every day is a tale as old as man, and a relatable one. The characters become family, depending on the type of player you are, you will eat with them, celebrate with them, love and hate them. The side characters too, each come with deep backgrounds and heavy messages to share. 2) Arthur Morgan—
    This character is truly one of the most well written characters in gaming as a whole. This man, in a way feels like a close friend by the end of the game. You’re not only playing as him, but you are in his head as well. Alike any man, he has his flaws, and mistakes made, but by god he is an aspiration of what a good man truly is. By the end, you’re left with grief that you’ll never see your friend again, and that memorable feeling is heavy. 3) The atmosphere in this game is beautiful, and ugly at times. The traffic, and the way the NPCs move are frustrating at times, alike real life. However, the immersion you feel from the wild, the city folk, and the conflicting gangs/family are truly outstanding. The ability to talk to anyone in the game is groundbreaking, and hopefully we see that more in games to come. The three-sentence conversations does leave you wishing for more at times, especially while talking to the gang, but this is still new tech so it’s welcomed for me. 4) The controls— The controls are definitely like any other rockstar game from the past, which is mainly why I knocked it down a little from a ten. The controls/gameplay is quite frustrating at times, whether you’re trying to get away from the law and your horse won’t catch up to you, or your character seems to have a mind of his own. However, the shooting feels outstanding, hunting and fishing feels real and comes with great satisfaction, and riding on your horse never felt better. Their are tons of minutiae details within the gameplay that I’ve seen some dislike, such as watching how hungry/dirty your horse is, which is understandable, however to most players I feel like would only increase the immersion. Fast travel DOES exist from the start, which some are failing to understand. You can either unlock it at camp, which allows you to fast travel anywhere you could set up a camp, or simply go to any city and fast travel via stage coach or train. 5) Law Systems—
    At times, leaves a giant loophole in the story. The fact you could pay off your bounty only serves as plot armor, as your gang is wanted all across the states. If I kill 100 lawmen and only have a $40 bounty, it does take away the immersion. However, understanding that paying $1000+ or plain being wanted dead or alive without any change would make the game simply impossible, therefore some compromise has to be in order. I do agree, if you run over someone because your horse decides to full on sprint at a person, shouldn’t be an immediate crime if you could get off, help them and apologize but I digress. TL;DR: The games story and protagonist is top tier and serves as a staple for how a single player story should be made. Emotional, immersive, beautiful, and horrible.     Red Dead Redemption 2 es un juego que marca un antes y un después en el mundo de lo videojuego, si bien hay muchos títulos que cumplen con mis estándares, sin duda alguna RDR2 las cumple con creces. Comenzando con la banda sonora que en un videojuego es importante, ya que es a través de este medio por el cual el jugador conecta aún más con el gameplay y en RDR2 se logra tal efecto.

    El Gameplay y las mecánicas van de la mano. Para este apartado me gustaría mencionar que lograron algo que en la actualidad es difícil de ver en un videojuego triple A, lo cual es buenos gráficos, consecuencias de nuestras acciones en el entorno del juego y las mecánicas, que fusionan de forma maravillosas. Por mecánicas me refiero a las armas, mantenimiento de las mismas, la pesca, montar a caballo, los diferentes juegos de azar y un largo Etc.

    Para finalizar la historia y la duración. La historia es una obra maestra, pues dentro del juego se encuentro el sentido humano, no voy a extenderme mucho, ni explicar más sobre este caracter, pero si quiero mencionar que la historia es lo más humano que he llegado a ver en los videojuegos, no hay ficción. Hay realidad, pura y cruda. Los personajes están bien escritos, al menos en su mayoría, hay algunos detalles que no me gustaron, pero no le quita merito de que la historia funciona bien con todos los elementos que hay dentro de la narrativa.

    Para la duración del juego creo que dependerá de cada persona, a mi me llevo 70 horas aproximadamente pero esto se debe a que realice todas las misiones secundarias y de igual forma la historia, los secretos y coleccionables son interesante, pero no los logre concretar.

    Finalizo esta breve critica de un aficionando mencionando que es un juego que tiene que ser jugado por todo el mundo, ya que es algo de lo cual no se pueden perder.    … Expand

    RDR2 was designed to be a slow burn game. I've been reading that statement a lot before and since first playing but it really is true. The authenticity to the era is unwavering. Travel by horse is often required and is often very long. There is no radio to listen to along the way. Even the fastest horses still feel slow compared to most vehicles in GTA V. But that is the point. The game wants you to savor the moment, breath things in and perhaps contemplate a little more than you would in other games. Even on foot, exploring the world is deliberately paced. I would go so far as to call the controls sluggish at points. Arthur moves with a certain weightiness in the world that makes things feel very grounded, almost a little too much for a videogame. There are specific and realistic animations for just about every single action Arthur does, from grabbing a can of coffee off a shelf, to roasting meat over a fire, to looting bodies, to cocking his revolver before each shot. There's no way to skip these things, no real shortcuts to watching his actions play out. At times things can seem like a slog, but that is commitment to the feel R* was going for.

    For some perspective, I'm still in the 2nd chapter and have done several side missions and random encounters. I've probably got 15 hours with the game and even that still feels like scratching the surface. I know there are many things I've yet to encounter based on all the hype and previews leading up to release, but I know there are many unknown features also. That is exciting.

    Obviously the game is stunning looking. I'm just playing on my regular PS4 on a Panasonic plasma from 2013, but it still blows me away. I would love to play on upgraded gear, but honestly that won't affect most people's enjoyment level with the game as the core experience is the same across all platforms. The audio is very dynamic and impactful. Voice acting is superb.

    The story is grounded and exciting so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how things play out. Til I finish it I can't say too much about it really, other than the cast of characters is top notch.

    The menu system is a bit convoluted, but I've come to the conclusion that no modern game is going to have an excellent menu system that can manage everything flawlessly. It works, could be better though. The map is really a sore spot for me. It's slow and the icons are too small and almost all look the same. You have to zoom way in or out and it's cumbersome at best. Using the map on the companion app on my tablet has been a big help in that regard. It's pretty cool because it updates in real time based on the actual game map and you can set waypoints more quickly. I recommend using it just for that if nothing else.

    Gunplay and other activities are solid and there are many options for tweaking how easy or challenging you want the aiming, HUD and various other gameplay aspects to be. The physics are sometimes hilarious, but most of the time extremely realistic, especially when you upgrade your horse bonding and can start pulling off the GTA equivalent of drifting and handbrake maneuvers.

    It's very easy to get overwhelmed in a game of this size and scope. Sometimes I have to remind myself of what I was originally trying to accomplish, before I got sidetracked by any number of sights and sounds along my route or an even greater number of RPG style mechanics. Many things can be outright ignored, but more often than not it feels counter intuitive to do that. That is a credit to the world R* has created. RDR2 begs you to explore just a little longer and a little farther each time you jump back in.

    No game of this scope is ever going to be ''perfect'' and objectively there are some issues here, but taken as a whole this is still a landmark game in my opinion and will be a front runner along w/ God of War for 2018's GOTY.    … Expand

    Great game and amazing story, amazing characters and top notch graphics. Only issue imo are the controls and physics of the game, too realistic for my taste that may end up breaking the immersion at time. I wouldn’t put it above the first RDR game but i don’t think it trails behind by much.

    Is it the best game I've ever played? Definitely no, there is no such game out there. But this comes close.
    But is it the the most engaging and immersive game I've ever played? Yes, definitely. The world feels alive all the time, the interactions you can have with EVERYONE in this game is just game-changing. While other game worlds feel scripted and programmed, this one is truly dynamic: always changing and adapting to you and your actions.
    I've never been so immersed into a gameplay experience like this so far. By now, I think the only game that can come as close to immersion as RDR2 is CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077, but that's a different story.
    All in all, an amazing game. A 9, not a 10, since on the PS4 Pro they utilized the worst Cherboarding implementation I've seen yet. How did this pass Sony's Quality Control is beyond me, but once you get used to it it's okay I guess, but hopefully Rockstar patch this horrible rendering solution to make it look at least a tiny bit less washed out and pixelated.    … Expand

I played the story quite fast trough and I was left this empty feeling "was this it?". But after you have played the story trough you really start to miss all the characters left behind and you realize that Arthur after all the time deep inside is a unfortunate man trying to do the best after all the bad things he has done. I actually after the main story really started to miss Arthur and the characters that died so much that I ended up starting a new game and playing it trough with more focus on other thing than the main story, This game really made me appreciate the ups and downs during the story.… Expand

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]
