    I will be the first to admit that I am biased because of how much I loved RDR1. I've recently finished my second play through on PC after playing the game immediately after release on my PS4.

    To get the bad out first: Yes, the controls are not very friendly. Many missions are linear so if you're looking to make your own story and make many decisions of your own, this isn't it.     Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to be the main character, and in some ways the director, of a movie. Rockstar has always delivered cinematic games and RDR2 is one of the most visually stunning and detailed worlds that any game has provided thus far. To supplement that, the storytelling and voice acting are top notch.

    My advice to people who are thinking of playing this game: Please allow yourself to be immersed into this incredibly detailed world. You may not be the train conductor, but you're way more than just a passenger. Also, if you have the chance please give Red Dead 1 a chance as it is excellent as well.

    Great Story, great characters and a really nice setting. Arthur is incredibly likable, charismatic very well written and a masterful voice cast that nail their roles.

    Incredible story, incredible scenery, fantastic game mechanics.

    This is probably my favourite PS4 game, the character development and story especially kept me hooked on the game.

    One thing that I can’t personally say for is the multiplayer, I am not a big fan of multiplayer games in general so I cannot judge.

    My friends told me that this game is very boring, but I don’t think so. RDR2 is a very interesting game from animals to NPC’s. If someone asked me to recommend a game for hundreds hours of interesting gameplay, I will tell him only 3 words - Red dead redemption 2

The story makes you angry and happy, it makes you cry and laugh. The world is organic and alive and it's overall just so much fun. But as every other game, Red Dead Redemption 2 is not flawless. There are activities you can do around camp ind in towns such as poker and five finger fillet. You can also at any point rob stores and trains so you are not limited to doing them on missions. The side missions are just as amazing and in depth with some of them having multiple parts. You can also experience the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 with friends in Red Dead Online and as well have a role in that society such as bounty hunter, collector, trader, and moonshiner. overall it is an amazing game.… Expand

The journey of Arthur and the gang's downfall from loveable rogues to the villains of the first game is so well written its just divine. And instead of making constant references to the first game, its treats it like the first was the sequel and this is the first game. Now that's how you do a prequel.     The game started without too much attraction, to a point that I wanted to give up. However I read somewhere that it gets better, and it did! The second half of the game is really captivating. I'm glad that I finished the game. Story 10/10

Your horse will fall or die if you hit an obstacle, which is very annoying (I lost my expensive horse that I have been using for a long time after getting hit by the train!) , you will get arrested when your horse hit someone else.    … Expand

    The plot is fun, very sad and shocking. Characters are **** great. Open world is awesome and it’s not dead. It’s always interesting to watch at some random events that are happening in the game. Also the theatre in Saint Dennis is very fun and interesting to watch. The gameplay is fine

    Red Dead Redemption 2 is slowly becoming one of my favorite games of all time. When i bought it late 2018 i had no idea that i like so much, i would buy it again for PC, but i did. At first i was like "it's just another solid Rockstar game", but more i play it, more i find stuff that amazes me. Would recommend.

    This is the most detailed game I've ever played.
    From the very first hour you can clearly see the high technical budget used to make this game.

    The only shortcomings I can see, it's the first half of the main campaign and the excessive linearity of the main missions.

    But, overall, it's still a really wonderful experience

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Esse jogo é uma obra-prima, o melhor que ja joguei, não tenho nada para reclamar.

    O ritmo apesar de lento, é natural e eu gosto disso, a trilha sonora desse jogo é marcante e muito bem feita, o mapa é cheio de detalhes e lugares bem construídos, a narrativa é perfeita, os npc's são "extremamente humanos"(realistas com um), a gameplay do jogo é o atual padrão da Rockstar, e eu acho legal, a história é muito longa, mas quando você joga até o final, gostaria de mais coisas, é uma obra pra ficar marcada na história dos vídeos games, lembrando que esse jogo estava sendo produzido desde 2010, juntando isso com a qualidade que a Rockstar tinha na equipe técnica(que acabou se desmanchando de 2014 até 2020 com saídas de membros importantes) só podia ser ótimo, o projeto mais ambicioso da empresa.

    O único ponto que podia ser melhor, é o modelo do John Marston quando você controla ele, ele tem a mesma modelagem do Arthur Morgan, sem motivo nenhum, os cortes de cabelos são o mesmo,(isso é estranho, já que ele é descrito por ter um cabelo feio e mal cuidado, e no epílogo fica um cabelo sedoso e mais bonito como do Arthur), o físico e altura dele são o mesmo também. Vejo reclamarem da personalidade dele durante um epílogo por ele ter ficado mais "bobinho e apaixonado", mas eu não acho que isso seja problema, já que ele ficou com cerca de uns 10 anos de paz desde os acontecimentos da gangue em 1899, então é natural que qualquer um fique mais tranquilo, até porquê os foras da lei estavam sendo punidos, e acabando com esse mundo sem regras.

    Mas enfim esse é o único ponto, que pode incomodar, mas agora quanto a tudo o resto, é muito bem trabalhado, Arthur Morgan é um personagem extremamente bem feito, não há palavras para descrever o que se passa controlando um personagem tão complexo, humano e realista. São momentos tristes, felizes, engraçados, tensos, etc, e você sente tudo, se indentifica com o momento do personagem, não há mesmo como descrever como tal coisa é perfeita, momentos que você controla, e também que são contados pelo Arthur te deixam sentido com a situação, seja no sentido bom ou ruim; quando ele foi diagnosticado com tuberculose, quando ele não conseguiu "recuperar" o casamento com a Mary, quando ele contou sobre a morte da sua esposa e seu filho, a morte de seus pais, a vida sofrida dele, entrando nesse mundo de foras da lei desde jovem, a parte boa, de como ele foi familiarizando com a gangue e principalmente com Dutch e John, que são como um pai e um irmão para ele, e muito mais que isso, como o próprio Dutch diz. Os momentos de sucessos que a gangue tem e você vivência, é muitas coisas impactantes que você sente. Arthur é um homem muito honrado e honesto, um personagem muito bem feito, e para mim o melhor que a Rockstar já fez disparado, o meu favorito no mundos dos jogos em geral, tem tantos "arcos" nesse personagem, e eu gostaria de exaltar os de aceitação e redenção.

    Agora, os outros personagens da gangues são bem trabalhados, cada um tem seu background e um passado, todos tem personalidades únicas e um forte carisma, ame ou odeie cada personagem, inegavelmente todos são muito bem feitos. Eles fazem ações, reações, comentendo falhas e acertos, discussões, conversas, tudo de forma natural e realista.

    Realismo que eu tanto citei e vou citar, é uma coisa que não pode ser cobrada, pois o jogo abusa e faz muito bem. Impressionante o nível de detalhes, gráficos, ligados a anotomia dos humanos e dos animais apresentados, como eles se comportam no ambiente e situação que estão, claramente estudaram muito para fazer o mais perfeito possível, as interações com o mundo desse jogo são bem grandes e cheias de escolhas, o sistema de honra é bem excecutado, a polícia é rígida e é mais inteligente em que qualquer outro jogo da Rockstar, se você faz uma pertubação pública, agressão, sequestro, npc's vão suspeitar e te denunciar, e me fascina como isso é tão real e...bem feito, se você ajudar ou atrapalhar um personagem, e ver as consequências é muito incrível os resultados, e bem inesperados em várias ocasiões.

    Sobre a gameplay, como eu disse, usa parte do padrão atual da Rockstar e eu gosto. As mecânicas são bem variadas em relação ao GTA V, há minigames divertidos para passar o tempo, você pode usar primeira e terceira pessoa, ajustando e ajudando para quem tem certo gosto/preferência, os olhos da morte é muito bom, a variação de armas e costumização são enormes. os cavalos são... Adivinha, realista. Você simpatiza e tenta cuidar com a sua vida, andar neles, poder regular velocidade, apostar corridas, tudo bem divertido. Nota 10.     I can't describe what a genius work if storytelling this game is. The gang, their friendships and relationships, the sense of how much the gang means to Arthur and how much HE means to THEM. The way Dutch and Hosea are the father figures Arthur never had, giving it this whole dimension of it being a dysfunctional, brilliant family.
    Watching the sotyr unfold, watching the gang go from green fields of sunshine to dark, brooding moors, watching them go from hopeful redemption after they fled for their lives and descending further and further into bloodlust and greed for money at absolutely any cost, losing loved ones, losing their minds and their senses.
    Arthur is the perfect protagonist. He watches his gang, his family, fall apart, and he is the young mind who follows because it's what he knows. He sees Dutch get manipulated until his mind warps into something else. He watches his gang fall apart as he loses friend after friend, father after father.
    Arthur is heartfelt, brilliant, funny, caring, and above all, good. He is a joy to play as, during the story or the exploration of his world around him.

At the end of the game when you finally kill micah is the best feeling ever and before in the main story when Arthur dies it really hits you. The multi-player isn't as good but still great. Only problem I have with this game is how much dlc and extra content the devs are putting out. There not even updating the game… Expand

    This is the best game I have ever played. You play as Arthur Morgan, and as you go through the story you see him as a real person, his change really hits you in a way I have never seen. The ending is some of the best ive ever seen. It connects to red dead redemption by showing the Vanderlinde gang, an amazing group of characters who bring the world to life. Best game i hqve ever played, 10/10

    Brilliant story! However gameplay can be boringly repetitive and the first person mode makes me motion sick, the fov is crazy low and the camera is being jerked around like crazy ALL THE TIME.

    But still, i have no regrets buying it.

    Amazing, simply amazing. I'm doubtful that anyone will be able to make this kind of masterpiece in next 5 years, like seriously. Anyone wants to see actual next gen graphics, then play this. Story better than most modern movies, graphics, animations, world design, music, voice acting, everything is literally 10/10.

    It has one of the best storys in gaming history and a beautiful open world to explore, the gameplay might not be the best but it's very realistic most of the time, the best game I've ever played in my opinion.

    Rockstar games setting industry standard so high that no one has quite reach to its level to this date. The amount of care and effort put behind the game is just mind boggling. A story while some pacing issues, is GOAT. But despite all that the game feel like a chore sometimes.

    Ok wow red dead redemption 2 what can i say about this game that wasn't said i guess ill do a pros cons review because i can rant about this game for hours on end
    this game is just wow its so beautiful and detailed i could just spend hours just looking at it i played like 90 hours and i still got plenty stuff to do so ill start with the pros because i got a lot of em
    PROS:
    - ill mention it again because i'm just shocked about the attention to detail just wow from the famous horse balls shrinking to the little things such as hair growing and dead animals decomposing

    - this one is kinda connected to the previous pro but the graphics are just wow and that's on console i cant even imagine what would it look like on pc

    -the feel when you fire a weapon is so awesome especially from first person wow you can actually see and hear the weapon hitting and firing

    -the realism is so awesome i loved the fact that they made this game so realistic it adds some difficulty to it for example you cant fast pick up and loot you gotta wait for the animation like in real life which i really liked made me get even more immersed in the game

    -the npc's are smarter and you can talk with basically everyone

    -the map is huge like really really huge and you can spend most of your time riding and wondering the wilds

    -the wild life feels so authentic and real i can actually see deer minding their own business and basically living their own life also you can see predators hunt and eat which is pretty cool

    -the character development is just wow i got really attached to Artur Duch John and the rest of the gang and if something would happen i got really sad about it

    -the story is just wow the start was slow but it continues to get better and better

    - a lot of people try to rush this game and then fail and cry about it and don't understand the fact that this game is needed to take slowly you have to breath everything and play as if you are in the game yourself only then you will really enjoy the game

    -the music oh my god the music is so beautiful and doesn't feel out of place it really sets you in that wild west time

    -there is a lot of side missions and you can do them by travelling the world and meeting a lot of different strangers also a lot of mini games such as poker the hand knife game fishing domino and plenty more also you can hunt legendary fish and wild life and sell it for some money and craft some clothes out of their skin
    there is also a full fledged Theatre

    -the hair growing mechanic when you can trim it you can customize weapons and there are a lot of clothes you can buy and customize Artur with

    CONS:

    -bounty system is really broken you cant defend your self without being wanted for assault and you cant even explain your self to the law

    -lack of fast travel i mean there is one that you unlock but its basically a one way ticket i wish they could give you something at the end of the game but i guess not

    - there are a lot of bugs and crashes in my playthrough i had one crash in an important time of the story and just to much bugs

    -the starting mission is painfully long and slow like i know its basically a tutorial but its so slow i really wanted to die the first few hours

    all this brings me to the final score of the game i wished i could have given this game a 10 but it falls short on somethings but i cant give it anything lower then a 9 because its such a legendary triple A game so my final score to Read Dead Redemption 2 is a 9/10 its a must buy game and in my opinion the game of the year yes it has some cons but its so good you can easily forget about them    … Expand

    One of the greates Games i've ever played. IT sets new borders für open World, Detail, Story Telling and a lot of love to the Games itself. Rockstar is one of the greatest and shows in this game all there Skills and this game is pretty much close to a perfect Game. !0 Points and PLS PC RELEASE ROCKSTAR T:T

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West.
