Mar 21, 2018I had a good time with Q.U.B.E. 2, especially during the final couple hours of gameplay. Although the unappealing storyline and lack of additional content are substantial drawbacks, the core puzzle-solving experience is still quite a joy to play.

Playstation Official Magazine UKMay 9, 2018A smart puzzler that builds admirably on the blocks of its predecessor. [May 2018, p.91]

Mar 16, 2018Where Q.U.B.E. 2 really succeeds is reminding the player what is great about being locked in a room alone with a puzzle. It's a shame that the execution doesn't spread across all the areas, but there is certainly enough to enjoy and cherish in this gratifying design.
-
Mar 13, 2018Q.U.B.E. 2 struggles to contextualize its clever puzzles with a narrative as engaging as their solutions, but it’s still one nut that is consistently rewarding to crack.
-
Mar 13, 2018Q.U.B.E. 2 is another successful marriage of smart storytelling and clever puzzle design, but it doesn't do enough to build upon the mechanics that were introduced in the first game.
-
Jun 6, 2018Q.U.B.E 2 starts well. Q.U.B.E 2 is pretty. Unfortunately, Q.U.B.E 2 never manages to surprise the player. Here's a good puzzle game that could have achieved so much more.
-
Mar 13, 2018The sequel builds upon the foundation of the 2014 original in both gameplay and small additions in its artistic strides, but in the end, Q.U.B.E. 2 does little (if anything) with its visuals to warrant this a wholly-expanded sequel, pleasing as its puzzles may be.
