    A very capable farming simulator that offers enough entertainment value for long sessions while still having deep mechanics. From a technical standpoint it's all pretty bare bones; the graphics are average at best and the physics are very limited. The game does feel very complete and because of the great tutorial you'll understand everything that goes into managing your own farm in no time. Love farming? Then you'll like this one.

    In spite of many bugs, Pure Farming 2018 is a worthy alternative to Farming Simulator, but the franchise from Focus Home Interactive ultimately remains the best.

    If you like the idea of running a farm, give it a go, but be warned that it will take up a lot of your time to get used to the basics.

    Pure Farming 2018 is proposed on the market with a first chapter that tries to break the waters in a situation that could start to become stagnant. If on one hand try to propose new crops and environments different from the main competitor, on the other hand forget the online mode and does not integrate all the innovations developed in recent years by Giants guys. We can only hope that the next year will lead to more lush crops.

    Despite its numerous bugs, Pure Farming 2018 is a game made with love. It even shows many novelties we'd like to see in other games.

    For a series that’s defined by its tardiness, Pure Farming 2018 leans a little too heavily on the slow side for our liking. This is a perfect first choice for newcomers, though, as its campaign walks you through every single element of agricultural “action” – and there’s a helluva lot to wrap your head around. The various environments could do with a little more visual identity, but they offer unique challenges that make them worth playing. And while the quick-fix Challenge mode won’t keep purists occupied for long, we certainly appreciate the attempt at distilling the title’s gameplay into short session bursts.

    It’s better than Real Farm, but still doesn’t come close to The Farming Simulator games. I won’t call it a bad game, but it has so manyIt’s better than Real Farm, but still doesn’t come close to The Farming Simulator games. I won’t call it a bad game, but it has so many unnecessary extra components to it. Also, note to devs: plowing has not been done well in any farming game I’ve played. It always takes too much real life time and is way too tedious to be worthwhile and so if it is an option, I shut it off. Now I find it hard to believe farmers are still dragging single line plows for days behind them on dinky tractors, but I’m just a gamer. Which brings me to my last point. Realistic or not, if it isn’t fun, it isn’t fun. If it isn’t fun, is it worth making a game? I’ll let your profit margins answer that. Anyways, if you want a farming game ONLY buy the Farming Simulator brand. They do it best, though still could do better. Anyone else putting out a farming game needs to stop going so hard on the sim and lean into more into fun. Disagree all you want but the sales make my case for me.… Full Review »
