Prominence Poker is the worst poker game ever.

While the graphics are stellar, the game play sucks. instead of a randomizer script, they use a snap back script that rewards the losing player thus creating a game that feels more like an adversarial environment. more than a few times my trip card hand was give to my opponent as he hits an inside straight, my straight had been given over

So I’ve been playing this game for the past 4 months nonstop, I genuinely hate it but I’m a fan of poker so I find it’s the best game to play next to the casinos... However the biggest issue I find with this game is the realism in the River always benefiting certain players. Countless times I’ll go in to a hand with a pair of aces and kings on the flop and my opponent will have a 2 and a 7So I’ve been playing this game for the past 4 months nonstop, I genuinely hate it but I’m a fan of poker so I find it’s the best game to play next to the casinos... However the biggest issue I find with this game is the realism in the River always benefiting certain players. Countless times I’ll go in to a hand with a pair of aces and kings on the flop and my opponent will have a 2 and a 7 off suit and will end up with a full house or 3 of a kind and beat me. It literally always happens on the river. 3 Aces off the flop and I’ve lost on the river to a 5 of clubs for a flush. The realism just is lacking heavily I find. I don’t understand why it’s always like this. I’ve lost countless chips to this existing issue. I just played a game maybe an hour ago and I had AK off the flop two pairs... the opponent had A 4 and on the turn a 4 came up to give him 2 pair mine being the higher pair, and of course on the river another **** 4 comes up. How is this possible and so consistent? I play poker competitively and I just don’t understand the logic in making the river win percentage so high ...? Can I get an explanation of possible thanks Expand

If you want to play actual poker, this is the wrong game for you. Nothing random about the "shuffle." Just bad beats for everybody ad infinitum in the hopes they bust your bankroll and you buy their chips. Don't buy from them. Give your money to a charity or the poor instead.

I cannot think of a worse place to relax and enjoy some poker hands. THIS GAME HAS TO BE THE MOST PHONEY GAME EVER! From "action packed" flops to de-stacking bots in the game. Over and over and over again my percentages are through the roof and these "players" play probably the worst poker I've ever seen. they pay and pay and pay until the magical river hits leaving me sad and along in aI cannot think of a worse place to relax and enjoy some poker hands. Prominence Poker gets two things right. It's free and it knows the rules of poker. It's a serviceable poker game with a focus on online play and player customisation. What it probably needed to do is concentrate on giving players an uncluttered interface but instead it's all about the custom suits and silly hats which is odd given how ugly the game is. But it's a poker game and it isn't going to offend anyone and the game has an odd self-confidence about it. It may be bluffing though.

This makes it an enjoyable way to play poker for anyone who doesn't particularly want to risk their bank balance playing for real money, though the lack of a compelling progression system and underwhelming single player scenarios will more than likely stop you from going all-in.

Prominence Poker is surprisingly enjoyable as a casual, yet competitive, multiplayer game.
