This game is SO buggy, broken and unfinished:
*I managed to freeze my dog companion because he was digging up something when my character fainted. He would spawn everywhere with me but was frozen in the digging animation, so he wouldn't follow and I couldn't interact with him anymore nor would he dig up resources. I tried rebooting the game but nothing worked and because it automatically saves when you faint I needed to reload an earlier save from the Playstation Cloud.
*My character fainted just as I opened the map and I got stuck in the map screen. I had to reboot the game to be able to play again.
*Quests don't trigger or get stuck on a loop (the game prompted me to make an item again even after finishing the quest that required it so said item was stuck in my inventory for the rest of the game, the quest for the intermediate fishing rod kept appearing on the board despite being done, one quest stayed in my log forever despite being finished,...).
*Character dialogue lines would repeat during cutscenes and the sprites would have the wrong animations or even just disappear.
*Certain key items would not be assigned an icon or name (instead showing "localisation error" in the title)
*Despite upgrading my house, clinic and postbox to the max it still kept saying "upgrade required" at the store, and I could purchase these upgrades again despite already owning them.
*There is often lag/delay while playing, which can really screw up your performance in the mini games and fishing game.
*You need to skip certain cutscenes because they get stuck. The bathhouse one always gets stuck.
*Fast travel will often get you stuck in an inaccessible part of the map until you fast travel to a working checkpoint.

Also there is zero depth to this game. It feels like there was the ambition to add more story, events and features but they jumped the gun because this game generated some hype so they rushed it out the door. Instead filling it up with mindless grind to make up for the lack of content.

Literally all you will be doing in this game is gathering resources, brewing potions, diagnosing people and using said potions to heal them and that's it. Every single "story" quest uses this same gameplay to progress. You can upgrade your tools, house and clinic but it serves no purpose other than to grind the same gameplay so you can get even more expensive, resource heavy upgrades.

It's so frustrating because this game had potential and charm but I will NEVER play it again because I already finished it in this state and I've got enough to play afterwards. So now the devs wasted a great concept and a charming art style on a terrible experience for most people. When will they learn you only get to have one first impression?

They should be downright ashamed to charge money for this experience. I know being a small indie dev is hard but you can't charge people to be part of a glorified beta test.

Good game but a horrible bug prevents a good rating. For clarification: There are smaller bugs like slow downs, secondary fetch questGood game but a horrible bug prevents a good rating. For clarification: There are smaller bugs like slow downs, secondary fetch quest disappearing and rare graphical glitches. What broke it for me was that a main quest did not trigger and I am in an unwinnable state approx 10 hours in the game. For itself the game is excellent. You are a chemist send to the small town of Moonbury to heal the mayors daughter. Because of a past accident caused by a chemist the people distrust you. You became the town chemist and have to gain the trust and heal the town. It is an action RPG with relationship simulation, potion mixing and resource management. I think it is close to Harvest Moon without agriculture and farming. You are the town healer, collect resources and develop friendships. As you heal people the town develops. Might not be for everyone like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon but for me it was amazing. You learn more about the citizens, reach new areas and improve your buildings and the city. It is addicting gameplay wise. However the time limit for a day is making it hectic. Graphically I love the art style and soundtrack. However this is nowhere near ultimate PS4 graphics. Overall I would have given an 8-9/10 until the bug. With it I go down to a 2/10 as a lower rating felt wrong. Expand
