    this is not a new game. it's just overwatch with 5 v 5 instead of 6 v 6. blizzard is a terrible company.

    Overwatch 2 is not only the worst game in the series by far, but it also is a insult to fans of the series and the first Overwatch.

    I've just spent 3 evenings wasting my time trying to log into, what is essential little more than an update, just to be kicked out half way through a match. I've deleted the game and have no intention of going back. I spent thousands of hours playing overwatch on pc and console but tbh overwatch 2 provides no reason to return and plenty of reasons for you not to bother returning. Ps.     need to be re balanced again anyone with a gun can easily get a 10 kill streak a few tanks have way to much hp plus matchmaking is horrible your stomping the other team or getting stomped no in between game should have been worked on a lot more not rushed out like it is now

    Im currently stuck at 599 in the queue. This is the second cycle, as I have already wasted 30mins just to receive the usual log-in error message. It is pretty much the same game, just a little bit darker. Now 5 vs 5!? No levelling system. Usual crap items to unlock in a 'battle pass' system. New map is dry and contains some daft robots to move

    I played Overwatch for nearly 1000 hours. Definitely one of the best games I've ever played with the most intense moments, particularly in competitive. Overwatch 2 felt like Apex at times. It's like they had to add lots of sounds, turn the saturation up to 100 to add appeal to the game. It doesn't feel right. The lack of prestige    I feel like they've ruined what used to be an awesome game.

It's like they had to add lots of sounds, turn the saturation up to 100 to add appeal to the game. It doesn't feel right. The lack of prestige levels makes it feel like your playing without progression. Not entirely sure what benefit there was to removing them. I know it's free to play now but I hate how expensive everything is. I don't consider 1900 credits a reasonable price for what is essentially just a digital cosmetic. It's a real shock going from how Overwatch worked to this. Collecting all of the items was a real pull for me playing Overwatch and now I feel as though I'm just being excluded because I'm unwilling to throw hundreds of pounds at blizzard. I just don't believe in this type of game monetisation system. I mean I get a free game but I'd much rather pay for a game and not be excluded from things.

    The in game stat screen is a definite downgrade. Yes it's nice seeing other people's stats but I care more about my own. It's not quick or easy to read. The showing of other stats only creates internal team competition rather than focusing on the objective of the game mode. It will inevitably lead to a lot of calling out of those who think certain teammates aren't pulling their weight.

    I miss the awarding of medals based on each stat and the voting system at the end to call out good gameplay. The simplification of the endorsement system is also a downgrade, it could have been expanded to actually help describe what each player is good at contributing to a team.

    I didn't feel as though I was really connected with what was going on gameplay wise whilst playing. It felt odd as I never felt this way in OW1. I just wasn't getting hyped when we were pushing on objective or about to win. At times it felt like the whole gameplay was just a mess. These are probably the most obvious things I've noticed so far.

    Now for what I liked. The new characters are good, have inventive abilities and are quite fun to play. The addition of more hot button commands to share info with your team (going in, defending, watching here etc) are really good. This is something that was really lacking in OW1.

    This game isn’t a sequel at all, it’s just a glorified update with no progression system but a brand-new monetization model and an in game store. In order to have some progression and earn stuff (since there aren’t levels anymore) for the time you spent on the game (mostly suffering other players), you will be filling a “XP” bar to complete a battle pass that you need to pay to gain accessThis game isn’t a sequel at all, it’s just a glorified update with no progression system but a brand-new monetization model and an in game store. This is easily one of the biggest scams in video games history. In most of the games with a BP, if you manage to complete it, it rewards you back the complete cost of the BP itself though the levels, but that’s not the case, here you can have some ridiculous rewards as premium graffitis, voice lines, player icon, banners or the brand-new souvenirs that no one likes. That’s not the only issue with the game, but it’s my main concern as an original OW player. This game gets very boring so fast since there's no progression, there's no point on continue playing anymore. Free to play doesn’t mean you can abuse your users like that. We won’t support future Overwatch leagues and their sponsors.… Expand

    Everything is now locked behind ridiculous grinding and absurd weekly "challenges" that ask you to invest hours upon hours to complete them because they are based on luck (e.g., get 20 team kills). You need to pay 20 euro for a skin-recolor, or farm for 8 months to get it "free." The supposed "free" rewards from the Battlepass are joke-sprays and voice-lines. All the real things are locked behind the premium pay-wall.

    The new "free" players that joined are entirely oblivious to FPSs and make games very frustrating. They cannot DPS, they cannot flank, they cannot heal. They pick Moira and play her like its Call of Duty.

    Overall a disgusting re-release by Blizzard/Activision/ Microsoft (or whatever company they sold themselves too nowadays) supposed to be free yet those who owned OW1 had paid money for it.    … Expand

    Greed and sloth are the main sins of Blizzard. Overwatch is an amazing game, and new modes plus team size change make it even better. But the lack of new content in "sequel" is tremendous. And after all you can no longer earn cool loot by just playing. You need to pay, and you need to pay much more than in other f2p games.

Perda de progresso e Skins, removeram as Lootboxes para colocar microtransacões abusivas, servidores são instáveis e sofrem ataques de DDOS, o HUD do jogo foi alterado, e piorou, antes era vívido, agora parece que foi feito no Paint.     Ok so just for peoples that don't know Overwatch, the game is currently being review bombed for multiple good and less good reasons. In it's core, the game is the best hero shooter ever made. It is fluid, large cast and choice of characters is awesome, artistic direction is beautiful and the graphics artists genius. It is a very very good game.

    Why is it being review bombed then? Well    Ok so just for peoples that don't know Overwatch, the game is currently being review bombed for multiple good and less good reasons. In it's core, the game is the best hero shooter ever made. It is fluid, large cast and choice of characters is awesome, artistic direction is beautiful and the graphics artists genius. It is a very very good game.

    Why is it being review bombed then? Well Activision-Blizzard, of course. Not only the launch is a disaster, with most players that can't enter the game at all or get booted out all the time and temporary loss of progression, but Activision-Blizzard pushed one of the worst moneterization system in a game where everything was obtainable by playtime before.

    I think it is important to make money for a corporation, but now Blizzard is not only trying to make money but to actually being the most greedy on that subject with overpriced items and no mean to get its money back after completing a battlepass.

    Add that to a rushed menu and fillers, and yeah there is a sense that the game is unfinished.

    Is there is a good future for Overwatch 2? I believe so, with the PvE and new content on it's way, if Blizzard decide to be less greedy and try to appease the playerbase.

    If not, it will come back in the same sad state than OW1, where only the diehards like me will play.    … Expand

    Took me half the lifespan of a fly to get past all the error messages, even after that the game is lacking in originality and anything even remotely interesting, and the battle pass is the worst ive ever seen in recent memory

    El mismo juego pero le han cambiado las skins y le han quitado un miembro al equipo. No es una secuela, es un intento de revivir el juego en forma de actualización muy pesada y ya. Al menos Blizzard ha desarrollado la suficiente capacidad imaginativa como para hacer un evento de halloween que no sea “La Venganza de Junkenstein”

    Calling this thing a "continuation" is offensive to everyone who has tried to play it since the first game. Now there are fewer players on the teams, the matches are totally unbalanced, characters are blocked and they still have balance issues. Horrible. It's a free game that's not worth the effort.

    It's clear that Blizzard has no idea what they're doing. They scrapped the whole reason they said why they were replacing Overwatch with Overwatch 2. The characters are terribly imbalanced and the monetization is terrible. Overwatch 2 is a huge waste of time.
