Apr 2, 2020As someone who likes the show and the concept, it checks most of the boxes I’d want from a licensed title – if the combat was solid, I’d have been totally content with One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows as fanservice for a series I enjoyed. Instead, the part that players will be spending the most time on is also the worst part of the experience, and no amount of callbacks or cameos can carry it.

Mar 17, 2020This game is unforgivingly buggy and the gameplay is way too repetitive and uninspired to be worth even a second of your time. No matter how much of a One Punch Man fan you are.

Mar 2, 2020Sadly, we instead have a game that is largely built around wasting the player’s time, with half-baked RPG mechanics doing little to enhance the experience, ultimately hindering the better parts and drawing attention to the lost potential.

Mar 2, 2020One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is nothing more than a quick cash grab made with no ambition. The characters are fun and the game has a clever way of creating a gameplay system out of Saitama's power and the series' events. But that pretty much it. The game quickly becomes boring and could visually pass as a (bad) PS3 game. One Punch Man fans will unfortunately have to wait for a better game.

Mar 9, 2020One Punch Man : A Hero Nobody Knows is a very poor attempt at making a videogame out of this IP. The visuals are sub-par, the animations are appalling, the combat system is repetitive and the story mode feels dull. A game to avoid, even if you're a fan.

Mar 10, 2020A poor anime adaptation into a fighting game that can't be recommended to anyone. Not even those who have enjoyed the anime series will find anything worthwhile in here.
