Oct 25, 2017One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is a great choice for anyone who's a fan of the anime, show or genre. It offers an original story from the creator of the One Piece universe, and it features smooth combat, a gorgeous world that has clearly received a lot of development attention, a ton of DLC, and it's wallet-friendly to boot. My only nitpicks have to do with the camera being too close to the character, which interrupted the fluidity of traversing the world, and there were a few slow points in the story due to a lack of clarity in missions. If you're looking for a fun and lighthearted adventure, you can't go wrong with this title.

Sep 6, 2017One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Deluxe Edition is exactly what a licensed game should be. It captures the essence of the One Piece franchise through its story, writing, and characters, while also providing gameplay that could stand on its own without the name attached to it. Ganbarion has struck a delicate balance of creating a game that works for both hardcore One Piece fans and players who have never heard of the series before.

Sep 12, 2017A new edition which will make the fans of the series happy!

Sep 12, 2017The game in general is worth the time for fans of the series and someone just looking to play a lighthearted action/RPG. The tough part is deciding if Deluxe or the Vita version is the definitive entry. Each has their Pros and Cons over the other, not the least of which is the fact that the older versions have a lower price when compared to this gussied up version. One needs to choose if they want the complete edition or one with a less temperamental camera, if a higher framerate is worth the lack of portability. Of course, there’s also a Switch version of Deluxe which has that benefit… I’m not quite sure where I land on that choice for myself, but this game is fun in any incarnation.

Sep 3, 2017Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is bursting with a ton of fun content that's contained within the vibrant and wacky world of One Piece. Unfortunately, the core gameplay is so repetitive that it doesn't quite complement Luffy's abilities as a pirate.
-
Sep 29, 2017Unlimited World Red shines when it puts forth an effort such as in the combat or original characters. Unfortunately, those bits are found too sporadically to make up for the game’s glaring flaws.
-
Sep 13, 2017A lazy job. The game is quite fun, despite the obvious repetition of the genre, but the porting presents the same problems of the original version. Tons of content is not enough to let the game get more than a modest appreciation.
-
Sep 5, 2017It is a pity, however, that the Deluxe version brings with it a handful of technical problems.
-
Sep 15, 2017This is a port but does not feel like one. Still it suffers from the same problems as the original version on 3DS. Next to that the story feels short and it offers not much else. It is a fun game, but it could have been much, much better.
-
Sep 13, 2017Quotation forthcoming.
-
Sep 3, 2017This could have been a decent remaster, but instead it just seems to be a slightly lazy upscaled port, with DLC chucked in to pad out the content.
