    Gave the game a 10, finished it and gave it a 1. This intentionally putting a bunch of random crap in your way to make it as hard as possible is not real difficulty, Fire, water, people shooting you that you cant reach untill later when ceratin patchs are open, random bombs and traps etc. its a cheap trick to make it seem like there is depth here.     The world needs more than a Dark Souls/ Bloodborne remake. I really don't understand why so many praises. I've spent 60 bucks, and I am really disappointed. Should have saved for Horizon Zero Down.

    What a piece of junk for the newbies that never played dark souls etc.
    Can't even complete the first level after a couple of hours trying & no way to adapt difficulty settings.
    Newbies like me, stay far away don't waste your money until you try some of the older similar types of games lik dark souls, bloodborne etc...

    I had a blast with Nioh 2, i thought to give a retry to the first one. Omg so crappy. Can't see anything, builds are meh, leveldesign is vicious. Can't believe i played this without the yokai counterattack. Unavoidable grabs from the mobs really.. Sure, it feels like Dark Souls, except DS was perfectly balanced. .     Preorder it with 2 friends and planned to coop it but remove it at the last minute. I can and will surely go through the game but a change like that is really bad.

    The story is lacking any depth, the graphics are way beyond what we call standard today. The only area where this game is delivering is combat, but that is also ruined by subpar enemies and boss fights.

    I gave up when I beat the first boss for a week. After a week of retry, I was confirmed that I'm still stuck in the first boss. This game was the most difficult game in the world which totally waste my money and was brought to never ending game. I was came to play Nioh after I completed Death Stranding main story.     It's a bad game with the same enemies. How do we make the game more difficult? Increase boss's hp and damage! You'd need to hit like 100 hits against a boss while the boss can one shot you unless you grind and do perfect dodging. The landscape also looks boring lacking color, as if it were a game made in 2007. Don't believe the hype.

    NIOH. Sad, but this game - is the dark page in Team Ninja's history. So great developers, made a so bad game. As a fan of TN's games - I'm not recomend this game. Its boring, like God of War. Dont't believe those "10/10" reviews, from sonyboys.

    Donc, la difficulté est réglée sur ‘ultra hard’ sa mère par défaut (et aussi par défauts au pluriel) et on passe son temps à recommencer… Le jeu se permet -en plus- d’être bien moche et au bout de 3 coups, le perso est (déjà) fatigué…

    De surcroît, l’imprécision demeure, ce qui n’arrange pas les combats déjà complètement claqués au sol… mais ça fait partie, on s’en doute, de ce mauvais trip masochiste typique de ce genre de sous-merde à tarés de masos de merde (allez d’urgence vous faire soigner, bande d’enculés).    … Expand

    You want to play with your friend? Nope you cant at first, your friend has to finish the area boss to be able to even help you and he will just carry the game for you.

    Would of been a great game if they keept their coop system from Beta stage, now they might aswell just remove coop all together there is no point of having a guy to finish the game for you since he already buffed up.    … Expand

    Crap game, you feel like always doing the same job. Can't understand why people compare it to Darksouls series, because this cartoon game is way far from the daemon soul... Also, most of the game is in japanese, witch is also annoying. Feel like i've been scheemed by those reviews aplausing this crap game.

    Nioh is an optical illusion. From a distance it appears deep and vast and worthy of your time, but about fifteen hours in you'll be close enough to realize it was just a cleverly drawn 2d picture that only appeared to have a 3rd dimension.

    i thought this game was going to be good but it isn't i wanted to play with my friends but you have to grind for a item just so you can do that i thought you could play the story with your friends, you can replay missions with your friends but you can experience the game with them next to you unless you gat the item you need

    Fake hard game with no SOUL. Playing this game is suffering and not in a good way. You don't get happiness from progressing. Its just trash hardness to make you suffer because you paid money for it. If you like paying money for suffering for 50 hours then go ahead and play this game. Team ninja has no vision nothing just a bunch of idiot suits all pitching in their dumb ideas and then madeFake hard game with no SOUL. Playing this game is suffering and not in a good way.     A bad attempt at DS/BB theme. It resort to the cheapest DS2 tactics and ends up being just unfair instead of hard most of the times. Too bad, would have loved a good game like that with old japan theme.

    It's a cheap Dark Souls rip off. It tries too hard to be hard (pun intended), but it just ends up being totally unbalanced and badly designed. Wish I could get my money back... GET BLOODBORNE DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!

    By 0/10 I am saying it was a waste of my money. Not that others wouldn't enjoy it. It's the controls I found annoying. I'm facing an enemy, why do I need to push the thumb stick to lock on? Seems a bit obvious what I want to hit. The sword - swipe swipe swipe then suddenly no swipe. Why? Did I just magically lose all my strength for a couple of seconds for no reason.     It's so difficult that it's unplayable. I played Souls and Sekiro, but this is on another level. This people are really making fun of me. At least it was free with PsPlus.

    I would say the game is a ripoff of Miyazaki's masterpieces but it's not even that.
    The combat is broken, bosses are trash, story is trash, characters are trash the level design is admittedly good, but is surrounded by a mountain of trash, avoid the game at all cost and play one of Fromsoft games instead

PS3 level graphics, uninspired audio, an incredibly small variety of ennemies and absolutely 0 originality. Team Ninja simply threw a LITTLE bit of japanese folklore into Dark Souls. Ennemies all have stats miles above yours. That's it. That's the difficulty. There is no getting good here, just getting better stats to raise your chances of victory, dodging the same repetitive ennemy attacks over and over. At some point, you get bored, you lose focus, you get hit twice and you die. You then repawn at a shrine. Doesn't sound too bad, right? Well, think again, because when you die, you lose ALL of the EXP you gained. You have to spend it at the shrines to raise 1 stat at a time by ONE. Die before you spend your exp, lose it. So, it could have redeemed itself by being a cool grinding game in which you see your character getting stronger and stronger, but it fails at that too. Really, there's nothing here. Well, unless you're a lonely masochist. Have fun, masochists!… Expand

Cheio de dificuldade ARTIFICIAL, pegadinhas, trilha sonora monótona e nem um pouco memorável, jogabilidade merda e manipulação pra levar o jogador a morte.     The dumbest game ever. Im stuck with last enemy on the map and its impossible to kill him, instant attacks, bugged counters, kills you in max 2 hits. Basicly all the bosses ive killed i had to use bugs and glitches - no, its not a matter of a game lvl but idiots who made them impossible to kill by tactic, tracking moves, coordinated attacks or whatever just bugs, bugs and glitches.
