    This game is a cheap cash in. They didn't do anything to modernize the game. The rubberband AI is horrible, the mission (especially the cop missions) are down to luck. If you get lucky, the AI will crash into other cars to allow you to take them out. Otherwise the AI cheats like a mofo, they can deploy more than 4 sets of spike strips, disregard cool downs, just generally cheat. There's noThis game is a cheap cash in.     It is unbelievable that a remaster of a ten year old game didn‘t improve anything. It is not worth the title „remaster“. The performance mode is the only one which is playable on PS4 Pro, thus getting the most points of this review for 60 fps. It is hard to rate this game, since the original title was a blast before a decade.     Literally same game. Graphics improved in some areas so small its not even noticeable. Cheap Cash grap from EA.

    This would of been a 10/10 game for me but this doesn't feel like the original the cars feel heavier and don't handle feels like your locked in to a bit of track when stuff gets a bit hectic so you crash, the rubber band affect if pretty bad you could nitros for the whole lap and the racers and cops will keep up without using nitros at all.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really don’t like the handling in this game. You always feel like your car is slower than the rest no matter how good you’re driving. They will just drift passed you at the turns doing double the speed you do. You can’t customize your controls,sensitivity,difficulty,traffic..you can’t really customize anything besides switching up the buttons. I remember having fun with the original but this one falls short. Like they released the exact same game with worse handling. I deleted it after a few days and most likely will never pick it up again.If anyone remembers NFS hot pursuit 2 on the ps2,this is a sad wannabe compared to that game. EA should remaster that one instead but keep the damn controls as they were please.… Expand

    This game is the same as the 2010 game, moving on. IGN had the balls to give this game a ducking 80 when nothing has **** changed. Your main character looks the same as he did on the XBOX 360, the cars look the same yest IGN is dumb enough to give this a 80.     The steering is so great you constantly feel like driving a boat. Dead-zone is not adjustable, cars are not customizable.
    overall classic ea game. 0/69 would play again.

    This remaster is pure garbage. Extremely overpriced, artificial slowed with **** made 30 FPS lock, broken AI catch-up, bastardy leaderboards that made you permanently rage. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF **** UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

    Nothing pisses me off more than a fantastic game destroyed with several, easily fixable, fatal flaws. A.I. got worse, catchup is beyond stupid driving skill means NOTHING in this version. I blame forced diversity. Women don't like racing games why would they give a **** at a job they don't want???

    35£ for this game is 100% not worth it. It looks just like the original one the car feels like a 1 one year did if you want a true racing game I would get need for speed payback or heat

    Controls are awful cars feel way too stiff some time trails that use a specific car are ridiculous some times seem impossible and cars seem to magnetize towards traffic and barriers this not a remaster its a rip off

I could write pages and pages about my complaints with this game but why bother, it's ea. The game gets incredibly difficult and unfair after about 8 hours. Wreckfest is an alternative that will hopefully make you forgetThe game is playable and quite fun in the beginning few hours.     There is no difference between this and the original game, I still have the original, and a console to play it on. This could have all been solved with a backwards compatibility update on Xbox, and a budget release on PS4. The fact that the game is full price is an insult. I suspect this was done by a team of 1 person, and a month or two. EA are shameless.

    I had high hope for the remaster, unfortunately it has fell short.     This game is a joke and terrible. The AI is overly aggressive and literally cheats. The RNG of the placement of traffic and road blocks is completely terrible, as the game puts them in the perfect place to ensure you will wreck. They should remove this game from all platforms and count it as a complete failure.

Дерьмовое управление, дерьмовая мылографика, это не ремастер, а просто ухудшенное переиздание. Игра куплена в Zaka-Zaka.com за 48р. не стоит и того. Удалил после прохождения стартовой гонки, буду и дальше играть в оригинальную дисковую версию.Мусор !     just wanted the multiplayer back, not 30 bucks for it, player it back in the days, and although autolog was **** back in the days, I wouldn't spend 30 bucks on it

    Discusting dinamic difficulty and this is a remaster for a game that did not need one in the firstplace ( the graphic on the orginal are good even compared to today)

    This review is for the PC version downloaded from the EA app from the perspective of someone who never played the game.
    No wheel detected. No way to assign controls to manually force my Logitech G923 to work. Uninstalled. How does a racing game exist, simulation or not, and have no support for wheels and pedals? It isn't 1998 anymore.

    This game instead of being called "Hot Pursuit Remastered" should be called "Hot Pursuit for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch" because there is nothing remastered about it, rather they took away more things, if you have a PC I do not recommend this game at all , play the one from 2010, you will save a lot of space on your disk...

    Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is a gem from 2010 that we didn’t really need again. It definitely wasn’t in my top 5 NFS games to come back as a remaster, but still one to welcome with its new additions. This is a game for those who never experienced it in its initial state in 2010 or for those who want some variation in the arcade racing genre in the meantime until the 2021 iteration is released.

    EA knows not to mess with the classic formula, so the largely visual upgrades work, creating a satisfying game. Truth is, racing games haven’t changed that much in the last decade; it’s about speed, and letting you feel that speed. Sure, you’re missing the “rewind” feature of current racing games, and it might have been nice to get that added in here.
