    Insidious microtransactions, a reskin of NBA 2K19. Even the icon logo was 2K19!! It's a scam everyone. Just stick with NBA 2k19 and dont enforce or encourage their behaviour this year. If you like to actually play a basketball game, dont go for this one.

    When I first played this game I thought it would be much better with previous modes in 2k18-19 but this is barely a game at all. This nba is almost only about lootboxes, and cosmetics are such a grind to buy.

    As someone that use to spend all of there money in the My Team and recovered after being addicted this year's game gives me outer rage as the My Team mode is designed to get you hooked with its pretty attraction of being there to give you good stuff its not.     So refreshing to see some actual basketball in this ONLINE CASINO SIMULATOR. Also great that it is rated "E" for Everyone so my kids can experience the immersive and addictive nature of GAMBLING so early in their life. Graphics are ok for a 2019 game.

I realize it is partially my fault, but how is a game that offers card sets, which are very expensive, allowable to children 3 and up? Upon closer review this game has actual gambling as well. Flagrant fouls run rampant, and if you’re a center, be prepared to average 1 flagrant a game in career mode AND the REC center. The microtransactions run rampant, but it’s more “in your face” in MyTeam. Which is why I rarely play it. The park is the exact same as last year, and the park events are trash, as well as the rewards for completing them. Beating the “Court Conquerer” event rewards you with a measly 5,000 VC and one selection out of a handful of team jerseys for your MyPlayer. Don’t mind the fact that it takes around 180,000 VC to get a MyPlayer to 85 overall. An absolute sh*t show all around and definitely my last 2k as I get ready for starting a career into my step of adulthood.     Ever since I downloaded the game the day it was released it's been crashing on me causing my playstation to freeze and restart. This happens every time I play. I literally can't play the game unless all I'm doing is simulating in my league. If there's any actual gameplay it freezes and crashes.

    I've reached out to 2K about this issue, and they've been no help. All they've done is send me automated responses which ignore what I've written and explained. They asked me for video of the issue and I provided it, but they tried to play it off as a problem on playstations side, so they weren't going to help even though the only game this has ever happened with on my console is NBA 2K20. I contacted support at sony and they were great. They helped me walk through the steps that I could take to fix my problem, but the game is still freezing. I sen't 2K another email today telling them that they were wrong and that the issue wasn't with my console and the response I got was the exact same email I got from them the first time I contacted support.

    I spent $100 on the game, but I can't play it. 2K is basically ripping me off. Don't let them do the same to you.    … Expand

    Company tries to milk customers by any means possible. Games wastes 100s of hours of your time by having 5 cutscenes and loading screens whereever possible. Gameplay wise very stale and scripted. Going against the meta (3 point barrage) is punished heavily by incompetent game design.

Many spin rewards don't work, game crashes, AIs are ridiculously dumb. And they basically copied most of the game and graphics from NBA 2k19 except with a lot more bugs with the newer version.     * myplayer has a good story, seems they know that’s the money making... but honestly it’s the same. The pickup courts are a rich kid at Center at height 7.1 overall 99 (can’t be done, but you understand hopefully) and a SG/SF pick and rolling on repeat. *myteam is pretty cool though, way better than Maddens ultimate team. *online ranked/quick play using actual teams is overall the same as before with the new gameplay... same **** happens... you win by 20 in the first and they leave. Andddd you get nothing. No stats... no level... nothing.

    What I miss and think should change.

    * online ranked (regular team being) should ban for 30 minutes, if you leave a match. DC/leave is a problem in every game but you have to deal with that and swallow that dc for a 15-30 minute ban.

    *myplayer should be easier to group with randoms somehow (idea, working on that)
    * passing should be quick, defense should change back to 2k12 style. You got the body work done, now add basic speed. Slow **** is boring and seems like I’m working instead of playing a game.
    * if I pass in the air, don’t make them retarded. It’s not that danm hard and is a common way of passing. Make it possible again. Same as old days, it’s not always a good idea, you might step out of bounce. But you can catch it. * overall ya’ll slackin. Whoever is workin on this... needs to go play basketball again and forget the graphics. It’s the gameplay we like. * 2k12-15 good job.(Didn’t play previous versions)

    This game is horrible. Every time an event drops the game is unplayable, because of the trash servers. This game had tons of hype around it and turned out to be arguably the worst 2k released.

    This game is just flat out terrible. This is one of the worst 2k’s I have played. I just don’t find this 2k enjoyable. I have been playing 2k forever and this is my least favorite. I think 2k18 was still enjoyable then this and I didn’t like 2k18. I just can’t play this game. I get lagged out of parks and when I do get in the park I can’t get in to a game. Prior to the launch of NBA 2K20 there was a lot of talk about in innovative new way to make your myplayer that would emphasize diversity and allow you to create players capable of doing more than just one thing. This myplayer system is ass. It encourages uniformity by limiting the types of builds you can make and allowing everyone to use the same badges. On top of this the badge system although at first glance a marvelous feature allowing players to choose exactly what badges they like is terrible. The badge system is a facade as many of the badges you are required to choose if you want to be a capable myplayer. In con-closing I think 2k20 is unconstitutional and I feel like it contradicts my civil liberties as an American citizen. 2k games needs to be held responsible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS GAME. GO OUTSIDE AND COUNT THE CLOUDS IN THE SKY IT IS MORE ENTERTAINING.… Expand

    Worse 2k game ever. Game play isn’t as responsive as older 2k games. Your my player will ultra suck even if you’ve upgraded to 90. Slow reaction time, slow shot gather up, games are rigged or decided for you to be lose, your team AI will be the stupidest scorers ever.

    NBA 2K20 includes fewer innovations than a "copy/paste club", yet manages to still play and feel pretty great. Gambling and microtransactions involved are becoming more and more toxic with each year tho.
