    I only play MyCareer/Park with a little bit of MyLeague. Imagine NBA 2k19 but the game takes one step back in almost every game mechanic. MyCareer: Want to make a unique build? Cool! Just know that only about five builds in the entire game that are worth using since everyone knows the meta already. The badges are completely unbalanced and there are only a handful you would ever need to beI only play MyCareer/Park with a little bit of MyLeague. Flagrant fouls run rampant, and if you’re a center, be prepared to average 1 flagrant a game in career mode AND the REC center. The microtransactions run rampant, but it’s more “in your face” in MyTeam. Which is why I rarely play it. The park is the exact same as last year, and the park events are trash, as well as the rewards for completing them. Beating the “Court Conquerer” event rewards you with a measly 5,000 VC and one selection out of a handful of team jerseys for your MyPlayer. Don’t mind the fact that it takes around 180,000 VC to get a MyPlayer to 85 overall. An absolute sh*t show all around and definitely my last 2k as I get ready for starting a career into my step of adulthood.     Fix yo game. Broken ass servers, predatory micro-transactions, graphics that are somehow worse than NBA 2Ks of the past (y'all ain't fooling us with the sweat bs). Hope your next-gen game is actually good. Y'all really need some good competition.

    Buggy as hell in My Career mode. Somehow 2k have managed to progressively make this game. worse. The worst bit though is the blatant pay to win and locking accessories and such behind a paywall. For a full=price game it's appaling. 2k have become worse than EA, and that's saying something. There's no reason to buy this game every year. It's now largely a Sims simulator with over-priced bling.

I only paid $1 for this through the Xbox Game Pass and all I can say is THANK GOD I DIDN'T PAY FULL PRICE!!!!!!!!!     - The MyPlayer career is completely rigged from beginning to end. Your moronic player refuses to sink the simplest wide-open baskets from 3ft away from the net and I'm talking shots that a grade 6 girls basketball team could hit repeatedly. Winning the Championship is basically pointless, I don't even remember earning an achievement for it. I sure as hell didn't get any extra VC for it!
    - Any & all online play (excluding "Play Now - Online") is bar far the most laggy glitchy idiot-infested GARBAGE I've seen since dialup internet, you simply cannot enjoy a moment of it. The only reason "Play Now - Online" works is because it's usually only 2-4 players in a private match, instead of the 40+ players that idiotic 2K jams into each lobby on their pathetically worthless servers.
    - I thought MyLeague could be the saving grace after all the previous torture I had endured, but holy crap was I ever wrong! A 100% customizable team/arena/roster/player/etc. should be a dream come true, however after I spent 5.5 hours well into the early morning customizing literally everything suddenly the game said "error: connection interrupted" and returned me to the opening screen without saving any of my settings/stadium/uniforms/etc. At this point I lost my mind and went to bed. I woke up the next day and recreated everything with ferocious rage in my eyes . When I went to save my newly completed arena it gave me a repeating message: "THERE WAS A PROBLEM SAVING THE ARENA. PLEASE TRY AGAIN." Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha oh wow.

    Uninstalled. Never ever again.

    Still have same issue. You can not play a playoff or season with your friends in the same team. You have to choose different teams and you have to play all season from beginning. All they should do is connect people like they are in the same room. Just select controller and play. Whatever game mode you are in.     I was getting used to them ruining the myplayer mode for me with endless cutscenes, but at least 1 second of delay in the online modes? Really? Not to mention the pay to win matchmaking. Another evil game from another evil corp.

    Worst game they have put out. Defense does not exist. Everyone plays the same cheese way online as well where they know the ai will not pick up the player and slash to an easy dunk or layup. Making changes to your team takes forever and the timer tends to run fast when making changes. Such a horrible game.

    Love basketball but hate this game. First many reasons theres no Rookie mode for my career they force you to basically fail unless your a PG or spend $$. What I mean by this you miss a good 80% of your shots wide open up or not. I have 80 on 3pt miss about 90% of them. They had this franchise for so long so how can this franchise be so bad still.     My Career mode.....Wide open...brick....wide open.....brick. Pick and roll? Nah the AI sticks to you like glue and your character has no passive animation to move around your teammates. No you just run in place while hitting a brick wall whether it be a teammate or opponent. Also still no rookie mode for a filthy casual like me plus literal gambling in the game. This game is trash.

I have had to disallow my 11 year old son from playing a basketball game, as addictive gambling mini games have become too intrusive... what have we come to when I have to censor my child from a game rated for 3 year old.     I dont like the controls of this game and it should always switch to the guy with the ball, this game has no tutorial teaching you how to shoot or pass before putting you in a match.

    How the ESRB and PEGI ratings system rates this GAMBLING SIMULATOR suitable for any one above the age of 3 is the height of corruption. if you love your games and want them to stay loot box free avoid this game. There is a severe lack of content and innovation.

    Fix the sharpshooter badge! It’s broken. Also, none of the problems of past 2k games such as it forcing you out of bounds/backcourt, stupidly contested shots, and how you can’t actually do anything permanent for your player at the Gatorade gym. Terrible game

    Imagine grinding this game for 100 hours to max your player, then 2k decides to nerf your player without any recourse.

    I also bought their MX called VC because the grind was rediculous in the first place.

    Company tries to milk customers by any means possible. Games wastes 100s of hours of your time by having 5 cutscenes and loading screens whereever possible. Gameplay wise very stale and scripted. Going against the meta (3 point barrage) is punished heavily by incompetent game design.

Many spin rewards don't work, game crashes, AIs are ridiculously dumb. And they basically copied most of the game and graphics from NBA 2k19 except with a lot more bugs with the newer version.     * dribble moves are sweet and well-done but by the time you cross someone up, you’ll be losing the ball because the computer wanted to high five you after that **** (Aka you dribbled onto jr Smith’s knee and turned it over)
    * myplayer has a good story, seems they know that’s the money making... but honestly it’s the same. The pickup courts are a rich kid at Center at height 7.1 overall 99 (can’t be done, but you understand hopefully) and a SG/SF pick and rolling on repeat. *myteam is pretty cool though, way better than Maddens ultimate team. *online ranked/quick play using actual teams is overall the same as before with the new gameplay... same **** happens... you win by 20 in the first and they leave. Andddd you get nothing. No stats... no level... nothing.
    * overall this game is slow and boring. ——————————————-
    What I miss and think should change.

    * online ranked (regular team being) should ban for 30 minutes, if you leave a match. DC/leave is a problem in every game but you have to deal with that and swallow that dc for a 15-30 minute ban.

    *myplayer should be easier to group with randoms somehow (idea, working on that)
    * passing should be quick, defense should change back to 2k12 style. You got the body work done, now add basic speed. Slow **** is boring and seems like I’m working instead of playing a game.
    * if I pass in the air, don’t make them retarded. It’s not that danm hard and is a common way of passing. Make it possible again. Same as old days, it’s not always a good idea, you might step out of bounce. But you can catch it. * overall ya’ll slackin. Whoever is workin on this... needs to go play basketball again and forget the graphics. It’s the gameplay we like. * 2k12-15 good job.(Didn’t play previous versions)

    Playing on pro vs all star is such a difference that its not even fair, my ai sucks and the other team makes everything. If people like it they should go for it. But it shouldn't have any influence on your win chances so that the game is available too anyone!

    Broken game mechanics, microtransactions, lack of quality and authenticity to basketball, their too focused on monetizing the game and surrounding the game with advertisements, which would be fine if the game wasn't fundamentally broken. Full price game with free to play mobile microtransactions, little improvements from one game to the next, game is the living example of how a monopoly can work.

    NBA 2K20 includes fewer innovations than a "copy/paste club", yet manages to still play and feel pretty great. Gambling and microtransactions involved are becoming more and more toxic with each year tho.
