Aug 26, 2015When N + was released in 2008, it was very well received because of the cruel, yet fair difficulty. The concept is still intact in the sequel: extremely hard micro courses that demands nothing but perfection from the player. Over 2,000 tracks are available which is an impressive amount, however this is also the games biggest problem. The sense of repetition is palpable and it's relatively easy to get bored. The user-generated content show a creativity that makes it really easy to return. Again and again.

Jul 29, 2015N++ delivers consistently excellent bursts of platforming devilishness, but it's not enough to keep me interested for the long haul.

Play UKOct 3, 2015The difficulty will leave some cold but there's immense satisfaction to be had here. [Issue#261, p.68]

Sep 1, 2015N++ is a strange game. You'll love it or you'll hate it and it all depends on whether you are fond of its minimalistic, retro-like very hard puzzles or not.

Dec 9, 2015Buy it if you want to remember what beating a game into submission through pure skill feels like.

Dec 8, 2015Maybe N++ needs to be consumed in short jaunts—pop in for a quick platforming fix and hop out when your eyes start to bleed. The core of it, after all, is trimmed to near perfection. Its sprawl, though, invites long play sessions and the short individual stages fuel a dangerous “just one more, just one more” fervor.
