Aug 27, 2019Milestone hold the reins of driving pleasure, shaping the raw material as they wish, finally exploiting all the Unreal Engine has to offer.
-
Sep 1, 2019A well balanced motocross game that will please newcommers and experts as well, thanks to a brand new race-editor, and some small improvements that unfortunately doesn't concern the Career or Online modes.

Aug 27, 2019MXGP 2019 offers a good experience for those who love this sport. One of the best motocross games in recent years.

Playstation Official Magazine UKOct 22, 2019MXGP 2019 is certainly well-made, offers a variety of game modes, and is decently engrossing, but that finicky handling and relentless undulation makes it difficult to enjoy. [Issue@168, p.92]
-
Sep 13, 2019Be aware. MXGP is a well crafted Motocross game, but its difficulty curve and -sometimes extreme- realism are not meant for the inexperienced player.
-
Sep 4, 2019MXGP 2019 represents the peak of the Motocross experience after Milestone's switch to Unreal Engine 4. However, despite spicy new modes and pleasant improvements, it lacks the will of change that flowed powerfully through the recent MotoGP 19.

Sep 4, 2019There aren’t many options available for those who want to enjoy MXGP on consoles, but luckily, MXGP 2019 is a solid take on this competition. It has some flaws, but overall it’s very enjoyable.
-
Aug 27, 2019MXGP 2019 offers the same gaming experience of the past, with only a few new features like the track editor and the Waypoint mode.
-
Aug 27, 2019Minor improvements, and finally a good track editor enters the series, but there's not true innovation from the previous MXGP.
-
Sep 17, 2019MXGP 2019 has the makings of a great motocross game but it comes up short in a few key areas. The racing is competent enough and this years’ game is probably the most accessible the series has ever been. Having said that, there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to new modes and overall presentation. The track editor is a great addition for fans to experiment with but the new Playground mode needs a lot of work before the franchise goes full open-world. If you’re looking for some motocross action, MXGP 2019 should satisfy that itch, but expect to stumble a little in the dirt.
-
Aug 28, 2019MXGP 2019 is a safe bet for those looking to race with the full weight of the real MXGP behind the game.
-
Oct 31, 2019Overall, MXGP 2019 is a fun experience during the thrill of the race. However, unless riders are long-time fans who are dedicated to continue playing this until the 2020 version comes out, anybody else may not find the patience to stick with this for the long-term.
-
Sep 30, 2019The races are as much fun as they've always been and Playground is still an enjoyable addition to the formula. However, if you take the long loading times, the inconsistent reset system and a rather uninspired technical performance into account, it's hard to recommend MXGP 2019 at full price.

Aug 29, 2019MXGP 2019 is a welcome addition for fans of the franchise that can looks past the legacy issues and have an excellent feel for the games. This series requires a grind to get good and competitive as players will have to play with setups, learn tracks and overcome obstacles that can hamper the experience. The Playground is the place to play and learn how to ride and The Waypoint is a great addition. The Track Editor is a much-needed mode for the series as it allows endless possibilities for riders. Having the full 2019 FIM Motocross Championship is a bonus, but this is more important to a small demographic of people. This series doesn’t get the promotion that the Monster Energy Supercross Series gets in America and also begs the question of why Milestone has two separate motocross games and why resources can’t be combined for one game?
-
Aug 27, 2019After MXGP Pro settled into a hardcore dirt biking niche, MXGP 2019 surprisingly steps away from that feel just one year later. It tries to combine multiple elements like track creation and player challenges, while still representing an official championship and gets lost on the way. It’s neither an arcade racer nor a serious simulator and the end result is quite bland.
-
Aug 27, 2019While the attempts to inject a bit of life into the series with a semi open-world mode and a track editor are laudable, the game itself is just too familiar. Newcomers might appreciate what the MXGP 2019 has to offer, but anyone who’s played any previous game in the series will just feel like they’ve seen it all before.
