    Best looking fighting game of all time. Only issue with it is the gameplay is nowhere as fun as MKX or Injustice 2. Its too slow honestly. And the whole hook on Noob Saibot instead of the body slam was soo lame.

    Initially i gave this game a 10, that was back on 2019. But i've been playing it since that year and i slowly been seeing the issues with this game. Number 1, the game been slow it's not an issues for me, since i think it makes punches and attacks have more like power and it looks really cool imo. But gameplay wise what i don't really like about htis game is the stupid krushing blows, itInitially i gave this game a 10, that was back on 2019. Number 1, the game been slow it's not an issues for me, since i think it makes punches and attacks have more like power and it looks really cool imo. But gameplay wise what i don't really like about htis game is the stupid krushing blows, it gets really anoying when the only ways to make great combos is either by spending meters or by using the KB and i hate that, since even in the 3D era it was very easy to do very cool combos. Also the krypt is so broken, and so annoying. They idea is cool but that i can only use it with internet and that is all random, looses the point of the krypt in the old games. And JC the story is so bad, so full of character assassinations and not in a MK way. They literally got every MK character and just makes them worse. This is not a bad game, it's just that it isn't the kind of game you'll like to came back to replay when MK game comes out. The soundtrack is actually good and i really enjoy the customization of the characters. And also the graphics looks amazing. Lets hope the next MK game makes some real improvement and actually create a fun game for the ages like MKX or Deception… Expand

    No fan service, no combos, as a female gamer I did not like the girls in mk11 at all. Not one revealing outfit which I found absurd and very out of place from Mortal Kombat.     Considering the existence of MK X - MK 11 is a step back in mortal kombat series. Gameplay is slow, combos are also slow and not such interesting as in MK X. Dark realistic theme in MK X was changed to colorful cartoon for kids in MK 11 and even lots of blood does not help. Character customization in MK 11 is really better than in MK X but the skins unlocking system in MK 11 is totallyConsidering the existence of MK X - MK 11 is a step back in mortal kombat series. Because they took all the iconic characters and absolutely ruined their look, in every way possible. MK11 was literally insulting video game. Only character that looked good was Noob Saibot, only character. That's not enough and ruining legacy characters is not good way to sell your game either. Why was Kitana Asian, serious question. Why? She has ALWAYS been white. Always. in every game ever, she was white and in movie she was also white woman. Why or even how, would you randomly change her race? It makes no sense. Absolutely no sense. And all the costumes were trash as well. MK9 remains as last and also one of the best MK games ever, MKX was fine, but didn't have best roster and sadly MK11 ruined it all. I rather play any 2002-2006 era MK game than 11. These games were way better, had way better looking characters and actually good costumes. Also why would they ruin Skarlet like that? She was my favorite new female character in MK9 and in MK11 she looks NOTHING like in that one. She looks like completely different person. It's not enough that you say "-this is Skarlet". No. She needs to look like one as well. It's like making sub-zero Pink and saying "well this is sub zero now", Doesn't work like that. Not even sure they can fix any of this in MK12. Would they just go back to old looks from MK9 and say that MK11 was mistake? Would they make Kitana White again? pretty sure they wont, so sadly i'm confident MK is over.     Ok game specially for spending time with friends.

    But:
    - The story is childish and plain
    - The final Boss in the story is insanely difficult to bit
    - Some main characters that many people like (like scorpion) are just weak! In general there is a strength/weakness imbalance between characters.

    Got the game at a huge discount, but this was one of the worst in the series. The skins are nothing more than the same three or four outfits with slight color variations and keep in mind there are almost 30+ per fighter. The game is a grind and the krypt has gotten worse.     Everything ups the ante from MK XL.
    Graphics are sharper and the combat is tighter. The violence borders on pornographic, but that suits me fine. I'm really, really enjoying it. But. I really don't like the Krypt and how it is implemented. Having to search for unlockable moves and costumes in a game I've already paid for bothers me.     Lastly, the female characters, c'mon, lets see a bit of flesh, some TnA, its not that big of a deal. You 'yanks love your gore, but when there's the slightest hint of **** you get all self righteous about it.

    Been playing for a few days and I have to say it, this is Worst MK in the entire series.
    I still remember when I played the first one in the arcade, and them the others on PS1, 2 and 3.

    Final story boss is completely wrong (no recovery, all she does is teleporting and spamming).
    About the design, female characters were almost asexualized (no more curves, makeup, all covered in body armors, Sheva looks like a guy), while males kept their stud shapes.
    MK was always an exaggerated game in ALL terms, but now they completely lost it. Another deological/mainstream art direction which is keeping games plain.
    Just look at the unlockable cosmetics section, they ALL LOOK THE SAME. Armors, armors, and even more armors. No more iconic clothing, again, for the female characters. Sonya, Cassie, Briggs...they all look the same. And Frost became just another cyborg ninja.
    Speaking of unlockables, the game inherited the worst of the videogame industry. Loot boxes, in-game currency (extremely hard to farm), microtransaction and loads of equipment which (again) all look the same.
    Injustice 2 was 1000x times better than this.

The microtransactions are not even THAT excessive, you can even earn thosetime crystals to get the skins you want, but almost all of them are unlockable for free.

    So the game has cosmetics problem, but it still is a hell of a game. Don't listen to little crybabies who rate the game 0 out of 10 while using irrelevant words, trying to somehow justify their arguments, while all they are doing, is complaining to themselves.     Геймплей. Тут не нужно много писать, кратко- лучший файтинг на данный момент(2021). Боевка в этой игре что то с чем то, сражаться интересно и приятно. В общем, геймплей тут очень хорош.

La verdad me pareció un juego EXELENTE siguiendo la historia de Mortal Kombat X introduciendo versiones viejas de los anteriores personajes como Jade, Shao Khan y otros, la historia esta medio buena pero almenos a mi no me llego a atraer del todo y es una película literalmente pero peli de las buenas, los modelos de los personajes me parecen INCREIBLES TANTO SKINS DESBLOQUEABLES A LAS DE LA HISTORIA como Liu Kang Dios del Fuego que me encanta o la de Zub-Zero Samurai, el modo kryta me parece nedio pesado y aveces complicado el online esta muy bueno y sobre todo por el croosplat es muy bueno que lo implementará, los gráficos me parecen muy buenos y la verdad una de las cosas que más disfrute fue el doblaje al español latino, aveces se descordinaba y perdías el toque del momento pero en general el doblaje es MUY BUENOO un gran trabajo y junto a todo esto e jugado juegos mejores y aun así no me aguante y le tuve que sacar el platino, el juego en general es bueno pero tiene un montón de cosas malas o más resaltables que otras cosas pero pero almenos a mi no fue suficiente para no darme horas de diversión y atracción incluso el deseo de conseguir el platino y al final lo termine consiguiendo, En general tiene ese 8 muy merecido pero almenos hasta que pruebe otra versión como la ultimate en ps4 o Ps5 no calificare alguna de las 2 pero almenos a mi esta versión me dejo satisfecho a medias pero bueno habrá que ver como dije si juego la versión ultimate en ps4 o ps5 y le haré un reseña Ps ID: DiegoWolf29… Expand

    This is a premium game full of micro-transactions, this mk11 game is a scam like a mobile game.... You need to grind 4k or more hours or pay 6k dollars to really have a full game. Just a shame.

    Game is beautiful to look at and the original story was really good so I’m not sure why they had to taint it with the Aftermath DLC’s entire plot & ending. It left me feeling unsatisfied & just not good honestly. I preferred the original plot 10 times more. Gameplay is great too

    but characters skins is poor and repetitive, broken servers , too much focus on competitive mode does not attract other types of players and always online with microtransations and DLCs characters.

    Игру излишне ругают за два момента: 1 - Женские персонажи. На мой взгляд они не так плохи как о них говорят и даже наоборот - прекрасны! Впервые за всю историю серии Mortal Kombat женщины похожи на людей и, при этом не лишены привлекательности! 2 - Микротранзакци и гринд. Да, в игре есть оба этих явления    MK11 не лишен недостатков, но игра явно не заслуживает текущей оценки в 3.7.

    Игру излишне ругают за два момента:

    1 - Женские персонажи. На мой взгляд они не так плохи как о них говорят и даже наоборот - прекрасны! Впервые за всю историю серии Mortal Kombat женщины похожи на людей и, при этом не лишены привлекательности!

    2 - Микротранзакци и гринд. Да, в игре есть оба этих явления но сказать, что они однозначно негативно влияют на геймплей нельзя. В игре присутствует большое количество костюмов и элементов снаряжения которые можно получить проходя башни времени... а можно купить за деньги. Они не влияют на геймплей и являются лишь приятным дополнением для людей которым необходимо видеть какую - либо цель для дальнейшей игры. Во всех остальных случаев можно пользоваться стандартными скинами(как это было в старых частях) или купить желаемые шкурки в магазине.    … Expand

The fatal blow mechanic is the worst mechanic to be introduced with the touch of a button the game rewards you with 30-35% with most players randomly pressing it at any time so you have to watch the terrible cutscenes 100s of times. The game is based for new players and supports spam heavy play styles something which I felt MK has always tried to avoid. The community is toxic with many games ending in teabagging or getting some sort of message saying that you or your gameplay is **** Then most players once you spank them once they will resort to one of the more spam heavy characters in the game such as Sheeva and continue to spam the stomp which is ridiculously good on a casual level. The game is straight up stress even for someone who is trying to not take it that seriously and just have a couple of games. Additionally, 50/50s in MKX were a key part of the gameplay in this game they’re just spammed mid screen combined with players who don’t have the slightest clue what they’re doing makes for a terrible mash fest where the player who luckily makes the right reads will win.     Графически и геймплейно - лучшая часть из всех, что я играл. Крайне раздражает лишь навязывание гринда, чтобы игрок платил. И то, что большая часть костюмов различается только цветом. Играть же очень приятно и весело.

    Like most MK fans, I was hyped for MK11.     Like most MK fans, I was hyped for MK11. Up until recently, I still was. That enthusiasm has subsided quickly once I actually started to play the game deeply. First, as you can see in a lot of bad reviews here, yes, a lot of fans do not like the political agenda that was injected around and into the game. No matter what your politics might be, keep them out of a product you intend to sell. It's common sense. You want to appeal to the largest number of people possible, not alienate a few, and then proceed to demonize them when they don't agree with your line of thinking. Whether you are a liberal or conservative, your message will upset roughly half the people either way. So avoid it. In the case of MK, the devs responded by saying "please, don't call them fans" when it was pointed out to them that some fans didn't agree with their ideologies seeping into the game.

    Well, I own Mortal Kombat 11 on Steam, Xbox, PS4, and Switch, all last three being the Ultimate version. So yeah, I am a fan... but not a fanboy. Big difference. So you bet, I will review every port I own appropriately.

    Graphics -They are absolutely fantastic, no doubt. This is the best looking fighting game at the moment and the best looking Mortal Kombat game ever made, by far. Yeah, lots of gear customization here, which seems to have become the focal point of this game. But once you start fighting red Scorpions or neon Sub-Zeros, along with some downright embarrassing and nonsensical costumes that are repulsive to look at, I wish the system disappeared forever. Preset skins like MK9 and MKX were the perfect compromise. This is MK, not Street Fighter or Injustice.

    Story - Poorly written, but entertaining nevertheless. I think the visuals and familiarity we have with the characters mask that downside quite well. No? Well, put that plot in a movie with unfamiliar characters outside the MK universe and you got yourself a box office bomb and a laughing stock.

    Sound and music - Sound effects are great. The music is boring, forgettable, and unmemorable, better suited in a superhero-themed game. Get rid of this orchestral garbage and bring back the East Asian undertones and kung-fu atmosphere that was part of the foundation of this franchise, please.

    Gameplay - It's very deep, the tutorial is great, one of the best I have ever seen. Frame data, block advantage, man - it's really something to get into. Makes you appreciate fighting games and how technical they can be. That being said it is slower than MK9 and 10, which bothers some people. I really like the customization of abilities, you can really put your gameplay style and personality into your character.

    Single-player - Making progress is nightmarish, demoralizing, ludicrous, an affront to nature, and everything that is good and decent. It's like EA and Konami got together to make something as greedy and as evil as possible. It's disgusting. I like to dive deep into games, especially Mortal Kombat, just really doing everything the game has to offer. Here, the only things being offered are frustration and despair. I'm talking about the grinding, of course. This should be called a "working for Netherrealm simulator" - a taste of what crunching might feel like, except you're paying, instead of getting paid. Let this sink in: people actually use a turbo controller exploit and the AI to play the game for them and make progress. It's the only way unless you abandon all life outside this game.

    This game is like a greedy pig of a mobile game. It absolutely destroys an otherwise near perfect MK entry. I cannot begin to tell you how sad, hurt, and disappointed I am. For the first time in Mortal Kombat history, there are online requirements. You cannot even enter the Krypt if you are not connected to the MK11 servers. And it's all because the in-game currency can be purchased from them as "Time Krystals", with real money. That's what is all about. Despite the initial deception, this game is essentially a big loot box from hell and I despise it for it. Will I continue to play? Yes, I already spent all that money. But will I buy MK12? I highly doubt that things will revert to what they once were. In fact, it can only go worse from here. So most likely, no. This is probably the last MK game I will ever buy. Unless online requirements and grinding is gone, I'm out.

    PS4 specific - It's the port I'm mainly playing, on a PS4 Pro. Although rendered in much lower resolutions than the Xbox One X version, the graphics still look amazing, and most importantly, as with all ports, it plays at 60fps.     The campaign has more weight, narrative drive and spectacle than MK:X. In general the main campaign is by far better than I was expecting. Still a Hollywood-esque experience but with enough plot points and variations on old tropes in the franchise to have kept me engaged until the end. Additionally, aside from exposing you to new characters which I found was surprisingly good at landing a new kombatant into my character pool. I fondly remember getting my hands on kotal kahn and destroying everyone because his move-set just... Sort of clicked.

    The classic game modes make a return in all their splendor and glory, and after beating my first tower with Kollector I realised the individual dialogues are nicely fleshed out and satisfying to beat the last (and reasonably tough) opponent guarding the ending. Now... Onto the bad...

    The microtransactions in this game are very greedy. The customisation for each character is more extensive than ever and as a result the game forces many awesome weapon and character skins behind (now patched to be more reasonable) a grind or a plethora of premium currencies to "augment" your favourite touches to an already impressively beautiful character design. This is just .. disappointing but the gameplay more than makes up for it. It's such a fun feeling game I can get through the grind to unlock the skins for my favourite kombatants as I master my mains. But lastly... And more insidiously are the konsumables.

    Now as I understand it, by winning in towers and other fun classic challenges in the konquer game mode, as well as leveling up, gets you consumables in the form of actual in game advantage. From healing potions to special moves from other fighters... This is added to milk players that are getting frustrated with the games difficulty. Now there's both wrong with needing a hand to improve but there has to be a better way than microtransaction based konsumables that a bad player would not be able to acquire easily otherwise (as mentioned previously you must beat towers to actually get those). They can completely trivialise the fight and is by far the most hollow aspect of the game. Add a system to promote practice, learning to chain kombos, that some kombos are better than others at certain ranges, to learn multiple characters and using special moves to greater effect than simply spamming. This game's combat is the best it's ever been! It's the most deep also! So why leave a way to cheese the game? You can even get a konsumable to just flat out skip a fight. There has to be a better way to promote not so good players from growing in skill... And not like this.

    Since people barrage this masterclass game with 0's and extremely low scores it's only fitting I give it an obscenely high score. The game as it stands is an 8/10 if not 9/10 but the konsumables, grinding for awesome customisation and more greed brings it down.

    Overall, best MK thus far. Thoroughly enjoying myself with this one.    … Expand

I took it back & it was only worth 13.00 store credit only cause thats how much Nethersuck has ruined this franchise.     The best beat‘em up game today. I can‘t confirm with the low ratings here, the game ist just awesome, it looks gorgeous in 4K HDR also gameplay is really really good. I will definitely go for the aftermath expansion when it is on sale.

    That bad writing heavily affected the storyline of MK11. Don't get me wrong, overall, MK11 did have a good storyline based on my opinion, but it still carries the **** from MKX to this one.
    - Revenant Liu Kang was aware of the Crown of Souls, yet when Revenant Liu Kang merged with Raiden and became a God, fought Kronika, he still did not know about the Crown? WTF? It did not make any sense.
    Like, if Kronika did not reveal anything to Revenant Liu Kang, that would've made sense, but Kronika did reveal about the Crown to Revenant Liu Kang.
    That means, when Fire God Liu Kang learned of Kronika's plan from his Revenant self, he should've known that in order to restart history, he will need the Crown. Why did you make him defeat Kronika and destroy the Crown when you added that detail?
    - The Techno theme song should be added as the theme song for the final fight between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung, that would've made it even more epic.
    - Quan Chi was killed off since MKX, but in MKX, it was also bad writing. He basically could not do anything to beat anybody, and just appeared as a punching bag for everybody. He should be brought back, because he is even stronger than Shang Tsung.
    - Killing off Hasashi Hanzo in a very stupid way. I didn't even understand why D'Vorah had to exist.
    - Jacqui is basically like everything wrong with MKX and MK11 and her name describes the problem.
    - Where was Takahashi Takeda, along with his father, Kenshi?
    - Introduction between characters is a big freakin' joke, not to mention that Revenant selves and Human selves of every character speak exactly the same way, like they don't even know that they are the bad guys or the good guys.
    - Why the heck did you NRS turned Raiden into the "Elder Gods' boy" like that? Every minute, he has to consult the Elder Gods. Yet, the Elder Gods did nothing other than proving that they are totally useless. And why the heck did you throw Red Raiden away? He is cool and gamers, including me, like him more than the blue Raiden because blue Raiden acted like he is some sort of second class citizen.
    Things i like:
    - Symbolic fight between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung. That fight was as cool as f***k.
    - Fire God Liu Kang actually developed himself to thinking like a God. This is good.
    - Fujin is back, and i got a chance to see Red Raiden fight Fujin.
    - Cary Tagawa Hiroyuki is the perfect portrayal for Shang Tsung.
    - Shang Tsung finally has his own ending. I do hope that there will be a story where Shang Tsung rules, and the story will keep going from there.
    - Liu Kang's journey has finally come to and end after being killed off for 22 years. This is what i like.
    - Even though i had to pay to buy Spawn, Spawn is another favorite character of mine.
    - Shredder Sub Zero is a cool outfit to play with.
    - The idea of merging the past and the present really is really cool, it allows the characters like Liu Kang and Kung Lao to see their future selves, and face their own fates.
    - Red Raiden is very good, even though he only lasted for like....a few minutes.
    => Overall, i did enjoy the storyline of the game, but it still needs a lot of improvement if you don't want to piss people off, because they are already pissed off and gave you bad reviews.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Mortal Kombat 11 is a game that suffers from microtransactions and a terrible gear system carried over from Injustice 2, but improves upon it's story.

    Positives-
    -The character roster is pretty great with obvious inclusions such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Raiden and return of fan favorites such as Skarlet, Jade and Noob Saibot.
    -The story mode is a lot better this year since it isn't so heavily focused on the kombat kids or the cage family, and introduces us to a new villain since MK vs. DCU.

    Negatives-
    -The gear system is my biggest gripe about this game. I have always preferred to have a single costume rather than what they tried to do in Injustice 2, which was no good.
    -The microtransactions, while avoidable, are there to temp the player into getting intros, gear, brutalities, and other stuff. This isn't some free to play game and they are literally selling kombat packs and a whole story DLC pack for the game, so it's pretty scummy to add this.
    -The new characters in this game are very underwhelming compared to MKX. Kollector is barely ever mentioned in the story, Geras and Centrion are just kinda meh and Kronika's reasoning for wanting to destroy Raiden is really weird.

    MK11 suffers from game play mechanics that hold it back from being a pretty good game, which is a shame considering how much I love Mortal Kombat. Maybe one day they'll go back to the old formula that work and barely anyone complained about.    … Expand

    ...despite the great gameplay the game itself is a drag to play. The developers apparently thought they were making a movie and not a game. We are presented w/ this epic cinematic experience that is fine for a week or so. After that, the experience wares off on you and the game is just depressing. It's like trying to rewatch the LOTR Trilogy over and over again - by the time you finish a second viewing you are just exhausted.

    This game is dull and colorless...on purpose. The default costumes are terrible for a reason, as they want users to grind through tedious challenge towers in order to unlock them. Most players wont bother, and will just end up spending the cash to unlock the costume they like...because lord knows nobody in their right minds is actually going to want to play as brown vested Johnny Cage or blue jumpsuit Sonya Blade. It's a despicable tactic to promote microtransactions.

    The real drawback with this however is that competitive play (at actual physical tournaments) are conducted w/ physical copies of the game. This means that everyone is forced to watch brown vest Johnny fight blue jumpsuit Sonya...hence its boring as hell. Not only that but Brutalities are locked as well...which takes away potentially hyped moments that could happen during competitive tournaments. It makes the game virtually unwatchable...and that is not hyperbole at all...the game is actually boring as heck to watch.

    Still, the game is fun to play because the gameplay is so good. So at this point my review is still a 7/10...unfortunately the final review score is going to be a 5/10 because of my next complaint...

    ...The Music!

    This music is terrible. It makes me want to kill myself. Seriously, it puts me in a depressed mood. I have to mute it, and play spotify instead. The music for a fighting game is suppose to get the player hyped, and wanting to battle! However, if I decide to chug some red bulls and pop in this game at 2 in the morning for some late night fights...then I just end up wanting to seek a therapist.

    For a franchise renown for it's electronic soundtrack ( this is a perfect time to mention that for some reason the worlds No. 1 EDM artist Dimitri Vegas is in the game as a playable character) this game is just generic orchestra dribble. Which is even more pathetic when you look at the backstage making of the soundtrack. There are YouTube videos that show WB blowing millions of dollars to hire an entire 200 person orchestra to create and perform the various themes - what a waste of money as they all sound like crap the rolls during the end-credits of some low grade sci-fi movie.

    May I remind you that in MK9 they actually hired Skrillex to do Reptile's theme. That this franchise has created multiple gold records for it's techno inspired music. That MK11 itself advertised itself via an EDM lightshow tour (via Dimitri Vegas) that it later used as its own viral television commercial. Heck, the initial trailer contained an original custom song performed by triple-platinum recording artist 21 Savage...

    ...and Dimitri Vegas is still currently touring w/ his custom Mortal Kombat theme song as well. Once again, they actually added Dimitri Vegas into the game as a playable character, but his music is nowhere to be found anywhere on disc.

    The least they could do would be to allow a "classic theme" option so we can listen to some of Dan Forden's old masterpieces, but sadly the Toasty Guy is done no justice at all with the POS soundtrack that made its way into the games final build.

    The music inspires me to NOT play the game. It doesn't get me, nor any other person on the face of this planet hyped to play. All it does is motivate us to turn off the game, and go outside! So, thx for that I guess.

Part of it was my fault for ignoring it but I didn't think it would be so bad since it's you know, 2020 and technology has advanced. Also the camera is so zoomed in on the fighter. Who cares about the fighter, let me enjoy the MK environment. Why is this random traveler such a main focus point of the Krypt. Why is it not the lore and atmosphere? Why does the camera change all the time to zoom in on the chest I'm opening? I don't care. All it makes me do is re-adjust my stupid camera after every chest. It's so tedious I don't even want to open chests anymore. That and force moving the camera disorients me because it causes more motion blur and makes me sick. This Krypt is possibly one of the worst things this entire generation.

    Sometimes I feel like the game is missing inputs from my controller when I use commands involving multiple buttons at once. Not just x and square but also things like diagonal jumping. Sometimes I only jump straight up into the air.

    This could be from me not being good enough or using the wrong character but I couldn't convert anything from ducking low attacks which made me feel useless punishing people who keep rolling at me.

    Of the online games I played none of them had a perfect connection and there was some modicum amount of lag involved despite me having a fast internet connection.

    The DLC characters are somewhat hit and miss with some of them being far less interesting compared to others. Spawn is rad though.

    Pros: Base story mode is great. It's akin to watching a movie. There's so much time between fights and time spent building out everything. It's easily one of the best story modes of any fighting game. The fighters in the story are all explained and have reason to be where they are.

    One of the greatest fighting game tutorials that goes into incredible depth. It goes above and beyond the basic intro on how to play this specific fighting game but also introduces high level fighting game strategies and tech.
    The amount of available frame data is fantastic and the hourglasses to display the timing for combos in the training is greatly appreciated.

    The roster selection is more than almost any other fighting game and although I had no connection to some fighters I felt others very easy to pickup and play.

    Towers are repetitive ( the team up with 1 or 2 players for a boss tower
    Is cool).... same with online ranked.

    Although graphics are improved the gameplay really sucks. I love MK series but that's far away from a logic mind. A player can be jumping in horizontal position in kombo hits non stop. Really guys??

    Guess what else, be ready to pay 6000 € for skins and content. Completely ruined the branch!

In addition to that, the roster is lacking, and there has been some censorship regarding the appearance of certain characters, which is pretty hypocritic if you think that we are talking about the mainstream game series with the most explicit violence ever depicted.

    The world has indeed become a strange place, if it's ok to depict humans torn to pieces while they are still alive, but you have to cover the skin of your characters to appeal to certain groups that have extreme views regarding what wrong and right in pop culture.    … Expand

The characters are balanced, the gameplay is unbelievably fun, and it's at that perfect sweet spot where anyone can learn a character, but time and dedication is required to MASTER a character. The fatalities are more gruesome than ever, the graphics look incredible (it has the visual appeal MKXAs of now, this is peak Mortal Kombat, and likely the best fighting game I've ever played. The characters are balanced, the gameplay is unbelievably fun, and it's at that perfect sweet spot where anyone can learn a character, but time and dedication is required to MASTER a character. If you're thinking about buying it, just wait till they sell everything separately., Gorgeous visuals, accessible combat, and a gleeful sense of humour make this one of the most unabashedly fun fighting games around – and it’s packed with content.

Moving from the more free flowing fighting system of MX 10, MK 11 moves to a more methodical, combo heavy based fighting style that wont immediately work for fans of the previous game. This is a slower way to go about showing your fighting game to the world, and it shows it in pretty much everything it tries to do gameplay wise.NRS has changed up the MK formula again with this release. Its still good but long time fans might not like the dramatic changes being made to the formula.
    In terms of extras, NRS always goes out of its way to make their fighting games have as much content as there can be for a fighting game. Their story mode presentations are still second to none, even if the MK storyline has gotten bogged down in reboots and doesn't exactly work for me. The tower system from Injustice 2 is back and adds a huge grind mechanic to get the hundreds of costumes in the game that worked well enough for me to keep coming back and playing it for awhile. And with the game coming down to 20 dollars recently, I'd give it a recommendation to try it now, especially with the new expansion having been released this week as many people will be coming back to try out the new features.    … Expand

Diese ist aber im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger so groß ausgefallen, dass ich das Gefühl hatte hier meine Zeit zu verschwenden. Auch das optimieren das Characters über Fertigkeiteneinstellung bis hin zum Kampstil ist mir etwas zu viel. Hier verliert mich das Spiel. MK bleibt für mich Kurzweil bei dem ich keine Zeit darauf verwenden einen Character zu perfektionieren. Das, so finde ich, sollte man den Rollenspielen und MMOs überlassen, zu deren Kernspielmechanik eine Charakterentwicklung gehört.… Expand

Не понимаю зачем вы портировали игру на такое слабое железо? Ведь вместо того чтобы сделать ультра низкие настройки графики, вы просто ужимаете качество. И это выглядит ужасно, явиду каждый пиксель, особенно это раздражает в стационарной режиме. Может на свитч лайт картинка смотрится нормально, но на обычном свитче на картинку смотреть просто невозможно. Как по мне, это самая худшая ая часть игры.… Expand

    If you plan to buy this game, buy it when the price is really low or wait for a "Komplete Edition" because you know, they always release one after a year or so. (And please wait for that version to drop the price as well.)
    Even with the shady microtransactions and that forced grinding, there is some fun to be had with this game, but you're still better off playing Injustice 2.    … Expand

    I didn't enjoy the game. it is not as hype as the previous one which is MKX. You feel that the game is slow and the characters aren't balanced at all. I feel they have totally missed the mark on Kitana. She is very weak in this game.

    If is the eleventh installment really is the last Mortal Kombat for at least some time, then the developers part with it with dignity. Large number of fighters, great possibilities for editing them and great gameplay make the game one of the best fighter games of recent years. [Issue#295]
