Unlocked all the worlds, but still can't get past the awful physics and lack of polish on this title. Unfortunately if you want a monster truck game with the licensed vehicles, you haven't got much choice.

My sons under 10 love it though because it has the vehicles they know. Just be aware the trucks drive like marshmallows, the races often have poorly defined bounds so you get reset for taking random corners *slightly* wide, trees that gave way during free roam turn into truck crushing obstacles during races, and the AI do nothing but follow their programmed line and bulldoze you if you get in the way. On the plus side you can't lose the freestyle events for the same reason you can't win the races: just drive in any direction and the moment the truck flips it'll just keep bouncing around until you get a perfect 10.

Buy if you have young kids who love monster trucks, or it's in the bargain bin.

It's not the best truck game, but it's a decent game. Maybe would have did more.

Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 is an over-the-top playground for those who love all things monster trucks. In addition to the comical trucks that many will recognise from the real-life Monster Jam events, Rainbow Studio has also done a fabulous job of creating the worlds that are inspired by the various teams. There's the well-designed Mutt-map that best reflects the comical sights of the Mutt vehicles, to the haunted Graveyard that left a lot to be desired from a racing perspective. As is the case with monster trucks, there are a few bumps and hits that can often mar the experience and put a dampener on things - but for the most part, this title is a few hours of fun for the monster truck enthusiasts who just want to escape into this virtual playground of destructive carnage and mayhem!

With new online modes, capable and fun split-screen, and one truly great fictional racetrack (Rusty Ravine), it’s only really let down by its slight low-budget feel and sense of déjà vu. But being enjoyable to play is surely the whole point of a videogame, and this is very enjoyable indeed. [Issue#187, p.81]

Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 could have been a better game if the developers spent more time and resources on its visuals; but it can still entertain the fans of the monster trucks.
