Personalmente yo no me hypeo mucho y soy mas realista con las calificaciones que se otorgan a cada juego y esta expansion a mi forma de ver no es la gran cosa.

The game is actually pretty good. New monsters (and reaccuring old ones) are amazing fights, a new snow area to fight in with nice little details (like snow on armor when you're submerged in it), and the new gathering hub looks amazing. The end content design is a mess. The various purposes of the party members have allowed them to separate and die in a reduced zombie rush game.

Just awful. Monsters have way too much HP and it’s after the main story. It takes 40 minutes to kill one. You could get better armor and weapons to kill them faster, but guess what - they are locked behind even more pointless grinding. And it’s not resource grinding, it’s master rank grinding. You need to reach a specific MR to unlock specific monsters for further upgrade. And it’s allJust awful. Monsters have way too much HP and it’s after the main story. It takes 40 minutes to kill one. I came to this game from Monster Hunter: Rise, and to be frank I really wish I hadn't. The pacing of this game just wasn't what I was looking for, I fully understand the appeal of the slow combat and taking time to prepare for each hunt, but the game itself just felt slow and tedious in all the ways I appreciated the least. I loved MHR for the thrilling, fast paced combat, and how smoothly each hunt ends up playing out, but MHW:I felt as though each hunt went for a little too long, and there were a lot more quests that seemed to be intended as time sinks rather than meaningful gameplay. Monster Hunter: Iceborne is not a perfect expansion but is still a ton of fun and a fantastic experience.

I would recommend Monster Hunter: Iceborne.

While this expansion will certainly frustrate new hunters learning the ropes, it gives veterans nearly everything they craved for after finishing the original experience. Capcom continues to do what it does best in this series, improving upon prior efforts to refine these games for an even finer sheen. When it comes to games about hunting monsters, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne proves that this series is the apex predator.

Folks that loved how engaging and approachable Monster Hunter: World was will find Iceborne offers more of the same with enough exciting changes to invigorate the many hunts they're sure to have.

While exciting new monsters and more freedom in equipment are definitely welcome additions, the Guiding Lands endgame content’s poorly balanced level design will make players feel uncomfortable.
