With the new Franchise features like the draft, improved gameplay as well as new modes to play, MLB The Show 23 is another amazing baseball game.

Ce jeux est vraiment bien. On est vraiment dans une bonne ambiance que le jeu essaie d'apporter lors du gameplay et c'est la raison pour laquelle je le note ainsi. Les contrôles et graphismes sont également assez bien réalisés

Completely unplayable and super laggy, even against the CPU. Clearly no effort was shown for the PS4 version.

Terrible experience. They did something with hitting and it’s just boring. They didn’t fix the hitting engine, it’s worse if anything. Pitching is still stupidly easy on every difficulty and setting, but you still will give up random home runs on sinkers out of the zone to the cpu on Rookie. I used to love mlb the show, but something changed around 17 or 18. I thought 20 was ok in the end,Terrible experience. They did something with hitting and it’s just boring. I used to love mlb the show, but something changed around 17 or 18. I thought 20 was ok in the end, 21 was a step back, then 22 seemed like a small step forward and now 23 is terrible. On ps4 you’ll get tons of lag, frame rate drops and glitches. The graphics on ps4 are muddy and you can check that by playing it back to back with the show 22 which is cleaner. 99% of the time I quit due to boredom or I literally fall asleep. It’s that bad. My advice: don’t buy this. If anything just buy 20 or 22 or just play something better. SDS sucks and the community thinks rng is good for hitting so this game is probably doomed. Expand

This is still the BEST platform in which to own MLB The Show. Being able to remove those godawful tracks, allowing us to use our own music is reason enough to buy this version, over the others.

    DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

I feel scammed. This game has so many minor bugs that build up to an unplayable experience. I was excited to play this series for the first time in more than a decade, but have been left unimpressed. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

I feel scammed. This game has so many minor bugs that build up to an unplayable experience. I was excited to play this series for the first time in more than a decade, but have been left unimpressed.

Here are the most major issues I had, all in franchise mode:

1 ) Players disappearing from my bench and bullpen.
This even happened after a guy was present and I started to warm him up. Poof, he and the rest of my bullpen save a dude or two are gone.

    2) Computer subbing in players who are already in the lineup.
How annoying is it to have a no hitter broken up in the ninth when the Padres pinch hit Manny Machado while Manny Machado is already in the lineup. What does this add up to? Essentially the computer cheating to end a no hitter and now 2 Manny Machados in one game.

This also applied to myself, so I could pinch hit guys who were already in the game as well, essentially duplicating players.

    3) Players re-entering a game they've already left.
The computer cycles through the same 2 or 3 bullpen guys. They leave the game, they come back into the game. Talk about an immersion killer. This also happened for guys who had already left via pinch hitting or defensive replacement. They would re-enter the game after a few innings.

    4) Mistakes galore with player stats.
Both in game and season stats are completely out of whack. I'd hit 3 homeruns with a guy, and the game would tell me he only hit 1. I would be 0-3 with a hitter, on the jumbotron it says he's hitting 1.000 on the season, and on the gamescore graphic it says he's 1-2. What is going on with this?

    5) Incorrect information by broadcasters.
This one is the most forgivable, but still annoying and disappointing. 10 games into the season with several hits under a player's belt, the broadcasters will say that said player is looking for his first hit of the season/ his career.

All of this adds up to the game not being any fun to play. I did only play in exhibition and franchise so take that as it is, but I really recommend staying away as long as these issues persist.
