    The episode doesn’t really close out the story of the Order of the Stone as a whole and really only makes it an addition to one of the many adventures that Jessie will have.

    As the ending to the first season, the eighth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode delivers an emotional pay-off. However, the game's still a technical mess, while the story once more didn't manage to keep our attention throughout its runtime.

    As a self-contained episode, it's good and fun; as a season finale, disappointing. This episode isn't bad, but this isn't the best Telltale either.
