    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Disappointed to not see continuation of the dark ones based on them being in both previous games and the idea of them left open to come back. They also kill off Artyom so does this mean no more metro at all?
    I'm a 48yr old female gamer who doesn't like car games or football or final fantasy games, so Metro would not have been my usual taste but I quickly got addicted to finding out what happened and wanting more but Exodus left me disappointed. It feels left unfinished    … Expand

    this game is an enormous turd made by morons. All the mechanics are bad as hell... Gameplay is boring, there are many glitches.... Everuthing isd wrong in that crappy thing (i cant call that a game)

    I got sold to this game because of the graphics, I guess. But what a mistake this was. I'd rather roll around in sh*t than play this game again. The loading times are absolutely atrocious. Horrible gameplay. Bad sound. Characters get stuck in walls. It was simply a very bad experience overall and I'm not that hard to please. I have no clue why so many people like this game.

    Очень нравится атмосфера, внутренний мир совка, но анимации, оружие, стрельба и враги в игре подобны дилдо, ужасные анимации, весь интерес играть пропадает.

    Slow, boring , buggy. Insanly long load times. Half your time is spent getting stuck.on pebbles and the other half trying to figure out wtf your meant to do to progress. Honestly it been a bad generation for FPS and this was one ofvthe worst. The only good things I can say is they tried some new idead, but failed at all of them.

    Played on my fat ps4, was expecting a good game. Bad graphics, awful acting, uninteresting story and terrible mecanics, couldnt play for more than 1 hour :(

    Made a metacritic account just to say how disappointed I am with this game. Bought on the PS Store so can't even trade it in, just deleted it after forcing myself to play half the game. It's dreadful, story is boring and long winded to the point you forget what you're actually doing the mission for! Controls are awful and game is clunky. Only giving it a 2 because the idea is good but soMade a metacritic account just to say how disappointed I am with this game.     Terrible controls, terrible npc animation, terrible gun feeling. I didn’t even complete the story because game is a **** piece of trash. The only good moment is ruined Moscow, and first person cut scenes.

    I really wanted to like this game. The story is good and the graphics even on my base PS4 are fantastic, but during the Taiga mission, I just gave up. It's not an open game contrary to what they make you think. You are constantly wasting ammo on stupid critters that serve not purpose and so by the time you have a boss fight, you have no ammo or health that you can craft so you are inI really wanted to like this game.     This is one of those games that I knew wasn't for me, but decided to give it a try since it's based on a book, and those sorts of games usually at least have good stories (meaning intelligent and well thought-out).

    You quickly learn the truth of the world and wonder why and how it was hidden from you. You then basically take point at getting everything important done by yourself, because you're an action game protagonist. It's like everyone else in your company is useless.

    After about my 5th trip of going out into the world alone to get something absolutely necessary for my company to succeed, which involves fighting mindless monsters or random humans who attacked me on sight for no reason, I got tired of it and put it down.

    At least the game is pretty. It's got a photo mode and will make sure you don't forget it.    … Expand

    Then the controls. The controls are exactly like the previous metro games, which brings into my mind a certain nostalgia. Too bad I hated them in all of the metro games. The aiming feels awkward, the sensitivity too. It feels outdated and out of sync.
    Then the gameplay. I don't like the open-world setting in this game, I think a guided tour like the previous ones would be more fitting. Half the time I don't know where to go and the other half I'm either walking through swamps or killing annoying enemies throughout the trip.

    In conclusion, the game looks beautiful. The setting is great, the characters are mostly understandable, I like the Slavic accents, the world and the story is interesting, but the gameplay and controls are bad.    … Expand

    Beim speichern ist das Spiel abgestürzt und hat komplett meine Speicherdatei zerstört. Sowas darf im Jahr 2020 nicht mehr passieren.

    Game is awsome but, very bugs, sensitivity is so small, physics is stupid, enemy npc is stupid, mutants is op af Enemy and mutants have bugs lagging their body Shooting at them is ignored Game have so good story, maps, guns but this is it what destroys the impression of the game.

    I wanted to give this game a higher score but it is unplayable on my ps4 pro. It is without a doubt not optimized well at all, and runs at maybe 24 frames per second. I had to put it down.

    Sorry deep silver, not this time.

И, наверно, атмосферной её тоже можно было бы назвать. Однако то, как персонажи общаются между собой и как вследствие этих своих бесед поступают, ни то что срубает всюГоловой я прекрасно понимаю, что игра, в общем-то, неплохая: довольно разнообразная, местами удачно срежиссированная, визуально симпатичная, насыщенная деталями и оригинальными механиками (к тому же почти отечественная). И, наверно, атмосферной её тоже можно было бы назвать. Однако то, как персонажи общаются между собой и как вследствие этих своих бесед поступают, ни то что срубает всю атмосферу под корень, а вызывает полнейшее, категорическое отторжение. Разработчики явно увлечены современной реинкарнацией Wolfenstein и многое пытаются повторить, но там, где у шведских коллег нарочитый фарс, 4A Games поражают своей насупленной наивностью. Про оригинальную (!) озвучку лучше вовсе промолчу: так разве что с 3-летними разговаривают. Участвовать в этой детсадовской белиберде хочется с каждым разом все меньше и приходится заставлять себя запускать игру. Заходе на четвёртом уже задумываешься, мол, надо ли мне оно?… Expand

It is also very hard to understand where you have to go or what to do and you WILL end up wasting minutes of gas mask filters just wandering around, which also has an impact on your ability to craft other things such as ammo, which is already scarse.     This game is utter trash. The loading times are atrocious, there are way too many glitches, and the story sucks. To get the "good ending" in this game, you have to play like a saint and not kill anybody in "certain" areas that the game doesn't tell you. The game play is just meh, stealth and gun play is fine, but boss fights are miserable. Don't buy this game if you value your sanity.

    Play this on PC, not on console. The input delay is horrendous and makes aiming an absolute chore. Aim acceleration is enabled by default on the default preset (4) but using preset 2 removes that, although the input delay is still there. One of the most important aspects of any video game is being able to control things fluidly, and this game does the opposite of that. I love the MetroPlay this on PC, not on console.     Having moved the action away from the dark tunnels of Moscow's underground onto a train, going into the unknown and forced to make stops throughout the journey, Metro Exodus' authors created a memorable interactive adventure consisting of happiness from discovering love and grief from irreplacebale loss, hope of better future and despair from understanding the truth. On top of that one might call Exodus a distorting mirror that reveals the most horrible sins of mysterious Russian soul: heresy and servilism.

    Overall, Metro Exodus is an enjoyable shooter. Taking Metro out of the Metro is a good move for the series, but the game still provides plenty of claustrophobic locations for those who enjoyed the dark tunnel crawls of Metro games past. The ammunition system is still limited, but it feels better managed and more forgiving this time out, although I can still see it as being frustrating to some players. If you haven't played a Metro game before or were put off by the games in the past, give Metro Exodus a chance. You can catch this train running and enjoy the ride.
