  • Summary: Sam, a US marine at the Moscow embassy before the bombs were dropped, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland, and maybe finding his family alive.     Sam makes his way away from the Aurora in search of a way back to the USA, arriving at the remains of Vladivostok's tsunami ravaged harbours, ruined industrial buildings, and crumbling residential districts. To complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be far trickier than expected.

    I loved Sam’s Story and thought it was almost better than the main game. Seriously underrated.

    This is a good DLC for Metro Exodus which continues the story nicely. The gameplay is the same as Metro Exodus With some really good momentsThis is a good DLC for Metro Exodus which continues the story nicely. The gameplay is the same as Metro Exodus With some really good moments (damn spiders) although of course it is a lot shorter. Sadly it seems glitchier than the original game and there were times when textures such as signs or posters wouldn’t load correctly or take ages to load. Overall a decent expansion that you should try and get when it’s on offer.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Для меня оригинал и дополнение "Два Полковника" проекты на 10/10.
    У "Истории Сэма" есть весомые плюсы:
    1) То что DLC создано на основе оригинальной игры и просто не может не играться хорошо.
    2) Невероятно красивое окружение и локации.
    3) Неплохие второстепенные персонажи и квесты.

    Минусы же куда комплекснее и заключаются в следующем, что в отличии от прошлого дополнения, авторам нечего было сказать и проект является чисто коммерческим продуктом.
    Проявляется это в затянутой истории и в том, что две концовки практически ни к чему не приводят. Т.е. поясню:

    Сэм ставит перед собой задачу, вернуться домой и увидеть отца. Об этом он мечтал долгие годы !
    Как минимум есть несколько х/д фильмов, которые отлично справились с этой тематикой и с течением финала дарили незабываемые эмоции. Пример: Лев (2016) и Баллада о солдате (1959).
    И вот, к сами финалам:
    Первая коновка DLC, где Сэм взрывает подлодку и никуда не едет более менее драматичная, но потом ты задумываешься, а зачем я тогда всё это делал ?
    Вторая концовка DLC, где он решает не взрывать подлодку, работает только частично, так как он не достиг своей цели, а только частично продвинулся к ней.
    То есть вернулся в город, а о том, что будет искать отца, только говорит и так сказать, анонсирует на будущее, из-за чего этот финал является немного фрустрирующим и не дарит нужных эмоций.

Даже на самой лёгкой сложности я периодически испытывал дефицит патронов что я считаю недопустимо!
    Игру так и не смог осилить. Просто нет желания возвращаться!
    Очень жаль что нет демо-версий игр.    … Expand
