    The game has a nice combat system, which was something new for me. Cutscenes were average but the gameplay balanced it out.

    It's unrealistic, dumb fun spiderman game. It has its 'serious' moments which is cool, but don't wait for an immersive story, it's just ok. combat 9/10, story 6/10, graphics 10/10. I never got bored of the game, NEVER, just do yourself a favor and buy it, if you have nothing on your checklist.

    Marvel's Spider-Man has got to be one of my favourite games of all time, I have played this game for hours upon end. The Open World is really fun to swing around in and the story is amazing and lots of fun. My favourite part of Spider-Man is the stealth missions, they are so satisfying and joyful. On top of all this there is a bunch of collectables, objectives and side missions to do. IfMarvel's Spider-Man has got to be one of my favourite games of all time, I have played this game for hours upon end. The Open World is really fun to swing around in and the story is amazing and lots of fun. My favourite part of Spider-Man is the stealth missions, they are so satisfying and joyful. On top of all this there is a bunch of collectables, objectives and side missions to do. If that wasn't enough there is 3 DLC packs with there own story!     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I had high hopes for this game. I played the remaster on PC and I loved the game. Completed the main story and the 3 DLCs 100 % in about 35-40 hours. I still haven't done a new game plus yet so maybe I will do that someday. The only 2 things I can put my finger on are the side content and the stealth missions. The side content can sometimes be tedious and is sometimes required to progress in both story and the power of your web shooters. The stealth missions are slow and 9/10 is not necessary. I kinda wish insomniac found another way to progress the story while using the character we all played the Game for. Spiderman. because in the stealth mission, you are forced to use MJ and Miles to progress. Its not a deal breaker. But it can get annoying :D… Expand

    spider-man has always been really good in the movies but not really in the games with a few exceptions this game is very good the open world is very fun to traverse through and the graphics are wonderful.the combat is smooth and not button mashy with various combos to make it more fun the swinging relies on momentum very much and i find that a good thing, jumping of    MARVELS SPIDER-MAN

    Spider-Man is a great representation of the character through engaging gameplay and brilliant storytelling. A deep understanding of the character is definitely evident here. However, I feel this game is massively overhyped. Is it a fantastic game? Yeah, I'd say so. But it isn't one of the greatest games of all time, as some claim. Still a great play.

    Me parece una de las mejores cosas que se han hecho de Spiderman en mucho tiempo, sobretodo narrativamente, ya que en las películas no les da tanto tiempo en profundizar, aqui lo hace excelente, lo único que no me gustó, es que ya tenian el juego completo y lo dividieron en tres partes

    This game is very fun and i can play this for hours on end. The game play isnt hard or anything and boss fights also feel very satisfying. The web swinging is really nice and responsive. The combat feels really nice, responsive and satisfying. Levels and missions aren't annoying and are also very good.

    I bought a PS5 purely to play Spider-Man. It's been a while since there was last a Spider-Man game worth playing so I was very happy that this game wasn't a dud. Swinging around NYC and fighting bad guys is super fun and really makes you feel like you're Spider-Man. There plenty of things to do and hidden items to collect, each one with certain lore snippets that tie into the comic books.I bought a PS5 purely to play Spider-Man.     This game was robbed of the 2018 GOTY.
    This is the best superhero game ever, everything you do as Spider-Man feels great, the swinging, the combat, even the jokes are somewhat funny. The only thing dragging this game down are the poorly made puzzles, and the sections where you have to play as MJ and Miles.

    De longe o melhor balança de teia de todos os jogos do cabeça de teia, história e personagem muito bons que te fazem querer jogar mais o jogo, além de todos as missões secundárias que são muito divertidas principalmente a de achar mochilas com itens dentro que cada um tem sua mini história, me divertir muito fazendo elas.

The gameplay is so smooth that I would intentionally branch off from the main game to go fight criminals on side missions. But yeah, speaking of the side missions, 70% of them are really boring.     This was the best game of 2018. The action is smooth, you feel like spider man when he swings and fights, and it's the best story games I have ever played. This should have won GOTY 2018 but lost to GOW(2018) A very deserving game in its own right but this game just was a lot more fun to me.

    Gameplay wise its just a boring/easy button masher like games like god of war and those overrated Batman arkham games, webswinging and wall climbing can be pretty bad at times as well, pretty much try to stay away from the sides of buildings as its pretty janky.

    Character wise there okay aside from aunt May that is, she's so **** dumb and i'm glad she died nothing to really say about other characters tho there all pretty much fine nothing good or bad about them really.

    Story wise it's too short and none of the stories connect with each other and the side missions are better then the main plot which was pretty awkward to play in a post covid world.    … Expand

    Wow! The story is great, the combat is 10/10, the boss battle are challenging and swinging across Manhattan is so well. What keeps this game from beeing a 10/10 is the fact that there are a bit to much useless collectibles, which are needed to upgrade your abilities

    I am a spiderman fan. I watched all the movies. I read some comics. Spider-man photos hang in my room. I played all the games. I was able to finish some of them because they were bad they were a waste of time but this game is legendary this game was just a gas game for those who know and know spider man. I just think miles was a little early I wish the second game story had started

    All of the love and care put into this game really shines through. People say it's an Arkham knockoff, but this game is kind of just Arkham but good. It's my favorite game of all time, and for good reason.

    I used to be a big funko pop collector. So whenever this game came out I sold every single pop I had to buy a playstation and to get this game. It was 100% worth it. Plus it got me out of pops, thank god. But I love this game. The story is great, the combat is fun, though super easy. When I first beat it I had no clue what New Game + was so when I was trying to go for the platinum trophy II used to be a big funko pop collector.     Some games you feel angry that such a great game has ended .
    Some games you feel happy as the game was just a long slog of boringness .

    But this game…..

    This game makes you feel like Spider-Man did his job and his best and when the credits roll it’s your turn .

    This review is going to be blunt and straight to the point. Marvel's Spider-Man is about as deep as a creek. It’s a very pretty and polished creek that I had fun splashing around in. But it’s still just a creek. Web slinging and combat is basic. Good looking but dull open world with a list chores to complete. It’s bloated and too long.     Web slinging and combat is basic. Good looking but dull open world with a list chores to complete. It’s bloated and too long. Story and characters are just fine but not memorable. You can’t really blame Insomniac though. With a character this important and a budget this big it is not surprising they played it safe and kept things a bit bland and easy. They would have had people watching this game very closely and people would have been breathing down their neck if anything went wrong.

    It is still a fine game with many moments of fun. The action sequences and cut scenes are well done. As I said it is highly polished and looks good. I can’t lie as well there is something about these bland open world checklist/collectathons that my brain enjoys on a very basic level. But this probably isn’t a good thing and we shouldn’t be settling for games like this. At the same time though if people just want a big, simple, shallow, fun, blockbuster game I’m not going to stand in the way or be too critical. If you really like this and think it’s fantastic then you do you and enjoy yourself.

    Marvel's Spider-Man is well made and a decent distraction. I would recommend giving it a play through especially if you’re into Spiderman. I just hope that one day a developer tries something really cool and risky with the Spiderman universe and combat.

    The swinging is by far the best part about this game. All the side missions are just going to a location to beat up some bad guys, which is satisfying, but very repetitive. Spider-Man stealth missions like at the grand central terminal are the strongest ones, since they force the player to take another approach to fighting enemies. Stealth missions where you play as MJ or Miles are awful; I see the developers' objective of making you feel powerless in an intense situation, but it really doesn't work when the player could be playing as Spider Man elsewhere.
    The story is passable enough to keep the player invested for the first 2 acts of the game. For these 2 acts, the story is about Mister Negative filling the power vacuum left by Fisk's imprisonment at the beginning of the game. Throughout this part of the game, it is repeated to the player that Otto Octavius has a grudge against Osborn. This is never properly explored, nor is it even a primary focus for the first 2 acts. It seemed like the writers wanted Doc Oc to be the villain, so they forced a mental breakdown for Octavius in the 3rd act and backseated Mister Negative, leaving this act disconnected from the rest of the game.    … Expand

    I knew this game was gonna be good when I saw we were fighting the sinister six. Theres some elements to this game that really feel like the devs ran out of ideas.

    There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
