    This game's very fun gameplay is what is most memorable, but it has a very decent story to back it up. Villains range from dr octopus to negative man, each of them giving you a unique challenge. Overall, a very good game!

    I am not a marvel fan. I watch the movies occasionally with friends because they're a decently fun
    watch but honestly I don't think much else of them. I never felt the need to buy this game before I played it at a friend's house one day and instantly found myself enjoying it. As soon as it came out on PC I bought it and it's absolutely brilliant.
    The gameplay is amazing, any game that    I am not a marvel fan. I watch the movies occasionally with friends because they're a decently fun
    watch but honestly I don't think much else of them. I never felt the need to buy this game before I played it at a friend's house one day and instantly found myself enjoying it. As soon as it came out on PC I bought it and it's absolutely brilliant.

    The gameplay is amazing, any game that makes movement fun (for example Just Cause 3) is a game worth playing. I found myself loving it and with the added help of unlockable skills I never found the movement to be repetitive. There are countless different moves/things to do with Spider-Man, such as stick enemies to walls/floors, punch them in the air, throw bodies to other enemies, yank an enemies gun out of their hand, taze them, hit them with trash cans, and so much more.

    My only complaint is while 100%ing achievements I found the fighting got slightly repetitive and boring, I would've toned down the fighting a bit more, as it does get used a lot. However that isn't to say there aren't things other than fighting in this game, as there are missions and extra activities which involve stopping cars, chasing drones, deactivating bombs, and stealthily taking down enemies.

    The missions in this game are always fun, the developers were not scared to let you take control of MJ or Miles for a few missions. The story is brilliant with interesting characters and antagonists, each explained thoroughly in their own right. The plot is more interesting than a lot of marvel movies, and skipping the cutscenes (while I would definitely not recommend it) is permitted.

    The graphics are stunning, with every last detail looking brilliant even up close, and the streets are packed full of citizens making it truly feel like New York. While of course the map isn't too large unlike other games I've played, I never felt like size was an issue.

    My only complaints are firstly the quick time events, which can catch you off guard and cause you to fail for unfair reasons, as well as the difficulty which even on ultimate never felt too difficult, and while for the most part this is a good thing, I wanted more of a challenge after already completing the game once. Unfortunately on the PC release I also encountered some annoying audio bugs which could sometimes silence Peter, cause voices to go high pitched and quiet, and cause distortion.

    After 100%ing achievements I feel like it's finally time to put this game to rest, but it was immensely fun. Whether you're a fan of superhero games or not, I highly recommend picking this up!    … Expand

    This is a must play as it's one of the best ps4 games. Its full of witt and humour. The pacing of the game is perfect as it's not short but not dragged out. One can easily put hours into this game and it's dlc's. The dlc's aren't as good as the main story but are close to being perfect. If you haven't played this game you are missing out .

    Fun game. Really great traversal with the web swinging and the gadgets are great to mix and match in combat.

    Story could have been better, and the side missions felt a bit chore-ish, but over all worth playing.

    With a few exceptions, the characters were absolutely pale and interchangeable, especially the villains.
    And at some point I just couldn't stand Peter's constantly repeating "jokes" again. I know you can't really blame the devs for that, as Peter is probably just as annoying in the comics and they just kept his personality true to the original.

    As mentioned, the open world is visually very nicely designed. In terms of content, however, it is a disaster. You keep repeating the same repetitive quests. Either you have to stop criminals or you have to help Greenpeace. Yeah, I got the message, everyone can be a hero. But that's no excuse for letting us do such boring and ridiculous quests where we have to vaccinate pigeons and fish or have to clean the nearest chimney.

    The wasted potential makes me a little sad. As a consolation: The standalone add-on Miles Morales was way better.    … Expand

    Peter Parker character is written really well and the story is beautiful and action-packed, I would have preferred there to be online too, it would have been fantastic! Another flaw is the repetitive and a bit boring side missions, all in all a nice game, I look forward to the 2nd!

    Brilliant spiderman game. Well worth playing. There was a few quarks about the game i didnt like and the fact that they changed peters face was a bad idea. Side quests were also pretty boring and tedious, game needs more interesting side quests

    A very beautiful combat system, even if the secondary tasks are very monotonous, I think that this game is ideal for this, because moving around the map and fighting here is just great. The main tasks for the most part have colorful scenes, but everything is spoiled by the game for other characters. I went to platinum and did not regret it.

    Un gioco davvero bello. Marvel's Spider-Man per PS4 è secondo me uno dei (se non il) primo capolavoro fatto da casa Insonnia Games, dopo un Ratchet & Clank che non mi ha fatto impazzire. La grafica è evidentemente old gen ma comunque avanzata per il 2018. Una trama non banale ed intricata condita con un gameplay tutt'altro che grezzo.

    It feels so good to play an original Spider-Man game that isn’t a movie tie in. The last time we got one with an original story was Spider-Man Edge of Time and before that Shattered Dimensions. While fun they lacked the open world element which is the key to creating a great Spider-Man game. In hindsight this game feels like a test to see if there could be a truly great experience with anIt feels so good to play an original Spider-Man game that isn’t a movie tie in. While fun they lacked the open world element which is the key to creating a great Spider-Man game. In hindsight this game feels like a test to see if there could be a truly great experience with an original story and thankfully it is. Everything about this world is familiar: Peter is broke, he can’t balance out his responsibilities, he’s been a superhero for a while, and he’s already fought some of his major villains, but at the same time it feels original. It doesn’t retell the origin because we’ve seen it a dozen times. Like a story skipping the beginning and dropping us into the middle. It makes it more fun when you are learning about this new world like MJ being a journalist for the Bugle, Jonah being a ranting (albeit weirdly entertaining) podcaster, and Yuri being the only cop that truly trusts Peter. What does stand out in this new world is that Peter has a close relationship with Otto Octavious who is also his boss/mentor figure. It shouldn’t be a huge surprise that Octavious is a key figure in the game since Dan Slott helped co-write the game and putting him in was the right call as this new dynamic is heartbreaking when you get to the final act.

    Said dynamic would not have been so tragic if it wasn’t for the performances. Yuri Lowenthal is my favorite Spider-Man since Josh Keaton mostly because while Keaton portrayed a teenage Peter Parker, Yuri portrays an older version who’s not in high school and has a job, but still isn’t as responsible with his personal life as he should be. William Salyers doesn’t portray the typical mad scientist like others have as Doc Ock instead its a slow burn. You see that he’s excited and happy to be on the cusp of greatness with his research, but he lets his insecurities eat away at him and he devolves into a cold hearted sociopath. Same with Stephen Oyoung as Martin Li, you see show much of a good person Li is and it’s impressive to see Oyoung can easily flip the switch when he becomes Mister Negative.

    The open world may not be as impressive and can be seen as pretty basic compared to other games in the genre, but again it is suppose to be a realistic representation of New York so it has a more grounded feel to it. The objectives are vary as there is a lot to complete. Between stopping crimes, helping research stations, catching pigeons, and accepting challenges. Ironically less is more in this situation because there were many research labs and pigeons to find which felt like the developers were padding. Meanwhile the challenges has variation between stealth, drone, and combat and there were no more than four warehouses/bases to clear out. You do not feel overwhelmed or feel like you are grinding because there is not as many compared to the other objectives. Back to the padding I mentioned earlier, I feel like five crimes for every gang/group was a little much, three would have been just right. I’ll make an exception for collecting backpacks and photographing landmarks as the landmarks help you explore the world and you discover some iconic locations in the Marvel universe like Avengers Tower, The Sanctum Sanctorum, etc. The Backpacks gives you items that tie in to Perter’s past like the first time he fought certain villains, an apartment application, a self help book (which he obviously never read), and even why he has so many backpacks in the first place.

    There may be a lot of things to do and some of them will feel like they’re dragging out, but there is a reward: tokens. Checking off every single mission and side quest will reward you with tokens which you can use to craft new suits and gadgets and upgrades. I would also like to take this moment to praise Insomniac for allowing us to unlock these costumes in game instead of making them DLC. Because if this was any other studio you KNOW that would be the case. I can see it now “Scarlet Spider Pack”, “Alternate Universe Pack”, or the “Movie Pack”. I shutter just thinking about it. Hell they released new outfits in a free update. Let me repeat that: They released new outfits in a FREE update.
    The stealth segments with MJ and Miles, while not as bad as people make them out to be, they do unfortunately stop the game dead in its tracks and every time I’m in these sections I just want to go back to web slinging. Lastly I want to talk about the combat. Yes it has been compared to the Arkham games, but there are some subtle differences between them. In Arkham there is a feeling a precision, every hit that Batman lands is a coordinated strike, you get the feeling that he was trained by martial artist and deadly assassins. In Spider-Mans case the combat is more sporadic, he’s bouncing off of enemies, moving all over the place and every time he’d hit so    … Expand

    3. Активности. Приличное количество доп миссий а так же огромное количество контента в открытом мире, которые на удивление не кажутся перегруженными.
    4. Графика. Входит в список самых красивых игр и по сей день, как я думаю.
    5. Город. Эту часть Нью-Йорка воссоздали очень детально и даже с пасхалками из вселенной, и это интересно изучать.
    6. ДЛС. Они здесь хоть и не супер длинные, но сюжетно и геймплейно качественны, хотя доп активностей уже не так много
    Минусы:
    1. Аванпосты. Здесь это базы демонов, соболя и бандитов, и прекрасно видно, что они перегружены, ведь бои непрерывны на минут так 10 и руки устают.
    2. Низ. Внизу, на дорогах, город не особо живой - людей много, но обычно они просто идут, а каких-то занятых условной уборкой или рекламой очень мало или вообще нет.

    Вердикт - лучшая супергеройская игра на данный момент, я сомневаюсь что ее кто-то переплюнет кроме сиквела.    … Expand

    Ce jeu est une merveille, Au niveau graphisme on est dans les standards des Jeux PS4 pour un studio sans forcément de gros budgets, au niveau scénario qui vaut carrément les filmes...etc. On pourrait en parler pendant des heures. Pourquoi je mets pas 10, parce que le jeu a malheureusement beaucoup de bugs qui n'ont pas tous été corrigé.

    This fresh take on a nerdy Spider-Man is as much of a psychological thriller as it is a button-mashing fighting game. NYC is visually stunning, but largely devoid of life outside the key story areas.

    Took me a while to get used to the combat - I highly recommend to resist any urge to turn down the difficulty and instead remember to utilize the myriad of gadgets provided (unfortunately, I went through most of the game without them).

    The main story is Spider-Man at its best, but I have to dock a point for repetitive side-missions and DLC filled with collectible catching.    … Expand

    I think this is a complete must buy because it is truly awesome , this is one of my favorites games of all time which contains amazing heartwarming story with unforgettable characters and amazing gameplay, so please just buy this already.

    I personally enjoyed the game but only for a few hours, why? As the game progresses, the story sometimes loses its excitement. There are few BoosFights that have a lot of excitement.

    Loved this game. Not only the main story, but also catching pidgeons and stuff. Nice story, amazing fighting system and well made hud. Only recommend it to every fan of spiderman.

O espetacular jogo do Homem Aranha é esse aqui, simplesmente muito bem feito em todos os quesitos, por começar da história, que pela primeira vez deixam de lado o início do Peter Parker, e elevam uma história com ele mais maduro, experiente e "poderoso" no sentido de Tecnologia. Enfrentar o Sexteto Sinistro num jogo solo do Parker, me deixou bem tensa o jogo todo, com medo do que poderia acontecer, no que inclusive faz com que eu me emocione no final com a morte da Tia May. A jogabilidade é simplesmente gostosa, ela é leve e te obriga a querer ficar saltando entre os prédios, além dos combates simples, porém viciantes que te fazem se sentir um verdadeiro super-herói. O cenário é gigante e detalhado, porém, faltou o restante de New York, inclusive a região onde o Peter nasceu, o que para mim é o maior ponto negativo desse jogo!… Expand

    Love the mechanics and the feels on how the logic on webswinging and fighting work. It seems fitting in this game reality. Had fun collecting and doing side missions which brings the game and interaction with NPC more realistic.

    Absolutely love this game. Got the platinum trophy. I just wish they wouldn't have changed Pete's face for the ps5 version and beyond. I felt emotionally attached to this character where as I don't as much with the face change because it feels like a different person.

    This is what superhero games should strive to be. Insomniac really nailed the webswinging and the overall movement of spiderman. But oh my god the MJ and Miles parts are painful. LIKE WHY IS MILES TALKING TO HIMSELF OUT LOUD WHILE HIDING FROM TERRORISTS. I DONT GET IT.

    There are some bugs, but while i was playing, i very rarely saw them. Some mechanics aren't done, like stealth. But overall this game is worth its money. Srry if i spelt smth wrong.

    One of the best PS4 games as well as the best Spider-Man game. Had so much fun web slinging across the city to tackle missions and retrieve collectibles. Graphics are great. The gameplay is easy to get into and incredibly addicting. A lot of gadgets to work with.

    perfect game. AWESOME GAMEPLAY (but rarely is repeat ı think thats not a problem). the world is so good. PLAYİNG WİTH WEBS İS SOOOOO entertaining. Graphics are not perfect but nice. story is good. boss fight is good you feel like into the spider man universe.

    There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

    This game does for Spider-Man what the Arkham series did for Batman. Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
